Chapter 58: Chapter 58
Drake looked over at Jane and Shane with a look of longing and sadness while they whispered between the two of them. That was him and Jane a week ago, but now things have changed. I just hoped that it was all for the best. Mike turned to Leo and looked at him curiously as he asked, "Can you shift into your true form?"
Alex nodded his head with a grin as he looked at Leo too, "Yeah! We want to see you in giant lion form!"
Leo smiled at them and stood up as he said in his small kid voice, "Okay."
In a second, Leo shifted into his true form of a giant lion with wings. Mike, Alex and Drake looked shocked while Alex looked entirely frozen in his seat as he exclaimed, "Wow!"
"My God." Drake muttered as Mike only stared at Leo's true form. He stood up together with Alex and Sean. They walked to him as they started petting him and talking with him.
I turned my head to Jake beside me to see him staring at me with a small smile touching his lips. I felt my lips stretch into a smile as well as I asked, "What's with the staring again, school's bad boy?"
"You know the answer, baby doll. Same as always, you're too gorgeous that I just have to stare." He said these words as his hazel eyes looked deep into my brown ones.
I felt my cheeks heat up in a blush because Jake was the o my one that could make me blush. "Sweet talker much?"
He chuckled in his deep voice as he retorted playfully, "Gorgeous much?"
I giggled at his flirting and nodded, "Yes, of course."
He chuckled as he took my hand in his and intertwined our fingers. He rested our connected hands on his lap as he stared at them. "So when should we tell our parents about being werewolves?"
His question caught me off guard and I felt speechless as I stared at him. "When? I don't think it's a good idea at all. It sounds crazy in their world that a person would be part wolf."
He moved his gaze to me as he sighed, "I know that they won't believe us and would probably think that we're crazy. But we just have to prove it to them by shifting into wolf form in front of them."
My brows furrowed in worry as I said, "I don't think it's a good idea, at least not now, but maybe later. I don't know what my dad would think when he finds out that his daughter's a werewolf especially after promising not to get into any more trouble."
Understanding crossed Jake's face and he nodded. A small smile touched his lips as he replied, "Alright, we'll wait to tell them."
I gave him a grateful smile and moved closer to press my lips against his cheek, "Thanks, babe."
As I pulled back, he lifted his other hand and placed it on the back of my head swiftly. In a second, he was pushing my face to his and our lips met in a hot kiss. As we made out, he wrapped his arms around me as I wrapped mine around his neck, both of us trying to get as close to each other as possible.
"Woah! Get a room, guys!" I heard Mike's voice shout, and Sean add, "Yeah, we're still here and you're going to poison little Leo's innocent eyes!"
I heard Jane and Shane chuckle at his Statement as Jake and I pulled away from each other. We were both breathing heavily as we stared into each other's eyes. His hazel eyes looked darker and heated with want, and I was sure that mine resembled his.
Jake continued staring into my eyes as he shouted a reply to them, "We 'are' in a room."
He placed emphasis on the 'are', and Sean sighed, dramatically, "Can't get a break from these hot blooded Alphas."
The others laughed while Jake stayed quiet as he continued staring at me. I grinned as I took my gaze away from Jake before we continued making out and things escalated to more than we could handle. He shifted his own gaze as he placed his hands on my hips and pulled me into his lap. I gasped in surprise and twisted my neck to glance back at him as he gripped my hips.
He looked into my eyes as I murmured, "You're too irresistible, baby doll that I can't keep my hands off of you."
I bit my bottom lip at the shiver that ran through me from his words and his gaze dropped down to my lips. He gaze slowly moved back to my eyes as I said, "You're far more irresistible, Jake Simpsons."
He chuckled, and I turned back around to the front. I leaned back into him, feeling his muscular chest and abs. I heard him take in a sharp breath at my back pressing into him. But he didn't move to change our position or place me back down.
Instead, as the others gushed over Leo's true form, I heard him say to them, "Give the guy a break, guys. He's probably too polite to say, but he also needs his space. That's enough gushing for one day."
"Okay, okay!" Mike exclaimed as he stepped back from Leo's giant lion form.
"Alright," Alex started as he looked at Jake then moved his gaze to Leo, "Sorry, Leo."
"It is fine." Leo's deep, male voice sounded through the house.
"Sorry, Alpha and Leo." Sean muttered with an apologetic smile.
I glanced back at Jake to see him nodding and turned back around to hear Leo reply in his deep, vibrating voice, "All is well."
Leo shifted back into his human form and turned into a kid again. As he walked towards the fourth and only empty arm chair in the living room, we heard a gun shot. We all looked shocked and quickly squatted down just as several shots rang through the glass windows, breaking them all.
That made me really pissed off because what in the world would I tell my dad when he comes back and sees them broken? He didn't leave me enough money to fix all the windows and feed myself along with getting other necessities. Jake looked over at us with a worried expression as he yelled, "We're being attacked! Everyone, grab a gun and fight back!"
I nodded along with the others before my gaze landed on Leo, "Yeah, except for you, Leo!"
