I chuckled, "I thought that you already knew since it's a bite from a wolf."

Jake laughed at my reply then glanced at the twins, "Come on, don't be wishes and get up from the floor. Max and I will bring you bandages."

"Fine." Greg groaned as he stood up from the floor, with his palm still pressing against his neck as some blood trickled down from in between his fingers.

Grey followed his lead and stood up, also pressing a hand to his wound, but blood didn't escape from his. Jake looked at me, "Let's go, baby doll."

"Okay." I replied, giving him a smile as I turned around and led him to the kitchen where we kept the first aid box.

We entered the kitchen and I went to the cupboards where the first aid kit was kept on top. I raised my hand and tried reaching it, but I couldn't. I raised on the balls of my feet as I tried to reach it. But I felt a presence behind me as I saw Jake's arm raise over mine and grab the first aid kit easily.

I turned around to come face to face with him, more like face to chest since he was a lot taller than me. He looked down into my eyes as I looked back into his. In a second, our faces were inches apart.

I didn't realize when we had gotten so close and I leaned back against the cupboards. I felt worried as I tried to explain to him. "Jake, we have to keep our distance because we're not sure if we're each other's mates. I don't want us to get hurt."

He sighed as he gripped the first aid kit in his hand. "Max, I thought that we already went through this and we decided that we will continue being together before we find out."

"I know, but it will still hurt a lot if we get even closer and turned out not to be mates."

He shook his head as he frowned, "Don't say that again, baby doll. I know that we have to be mates because what I feel for you is extraordinary."

I smiled at his words and my heart beat increased as I felt that I also loved him. "I believe so too, but we have to give each other space at least before we confirm it."

"Alright, we will give each other space since that is what you want." He said, looking down in his mood then turned around.

I realized that he seemed sad and a bit pissed off, and I quickly grabbed onto his arm. He turned around with furrowed brows, and I pressed my lips to his. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I wrapped my own arms around his neck.

After kissing for what seemed like seconds, I pulled back. We were both breathe heavily as we stared at each other. Jake's eyes looked heated and full want as he stared at me. I was sure that mine resembled his.

His arms were still around my waist and mine were still around his neck. "What happened to giving each other space?"

"We will do that starting now, but first, I wanted to let you know that I am also in love with you."

He raised his hand and used his index finger to trace my bottom lip as his heated gaze stayed on my lips. My lips stretched into a smile and he took his finger away as he moved his gaze to my eyes. "That's wonderful, baby doll because I am even more in love with you and I keep falling for you every second."

I felt my face become hot as I let out a laugh, "Oh, you sweet talker! I can see why all the girls are falling all over you."

He chuckled, "But it's true, it's how I feel and I've never felt this way for another girl before. And the girls are falling all over me cause of my hot bod and face."

I laughed again, "True, and your winning personality that makes every girl and guy think that you're cool."

"Just like you, your personality and hot looks drew me in, but your heart captured mine." He said as he looked deeply into my eyes and my face blushed more.

"Now, you're acting like a poet. But it's nice to see being so sweet with me and only me." I grinned as I looked back into his eyes.

"Yes, only for you, my baby doll." He replied as he leaned his head closer to mine.

"Will you guys stop making out and bring us the bandages already before we bleed out to death?!" Grey yelled over from the kitchen doorway.

We both looked at him and I laughed awkwardly as Jake nodded at him then took his hands away from my waist. He started towards the kitchen door as Grey walked back to the living room. I followed behind and we walked to the couch where the twins were sitting.

Jake placed the first aid kit on the center table. He opened it as I reached him and brought out the bandages, cotton wool and disinfectant. He took some cotton wool then poured some disinfectant on it. I also did the same, and we both moved closer to the twins.

They were both looking at us with grim faces, probably due to the pain. Jake went to Grey's side while I went to Greg's. He started dabbing the disinfectant soaked cotton wool against Grey's bite wound and he winced. I looked back at Greg who was looking at me expectantly.

I smiled at him and started pressing the disinfectant soaked cotton wool against his own bite wound. He also winced and I continued cleaning the cut. As soon as I was done, I grabbed the bandages and started arranging it on the wound. After i was done, I glanced at Jake to see that he was also done with Grey who looked in pain.

"Sorry, guys, it's so painful. You will get over it as soon as you turn later tonight or tomorrow once the world DNA finishes mixing with your blood." I said, looking between the twins that looked in pain.
