Chapter 100: Chapter 100

We all laughed at his teasing and sat back down on our seats. Jane shook her head as she laughed, "You too, Sean and all of you guys."

After school, we were waiting in the parking lot for Alpha Young to arrive. We called his number the day before and told him that we're ready to go to his pack today. So we arranged to go after school. He was coming to show us the way, and we would follow him in our car.

Jake and I were leaning against his Ferrari while our other friends were standing by their cars that were as well. Except for Drake who betrayed us and went to the enemy. Shane's car was on the left of Jake's with Jane and Shane standing in front of it.

Sean's car was on the right with him, Abbey, Mike and Alex leaning against it. Jake had his arm over my shoulder as I leaned my head against his own shoulder. I was thinking about what happened with Drake earlier that day and Hades being after us in addition to Kane.

"What are you thinking about in that pretty little head of yours, baby doll?" Jake asked, making me crane my neck up to look at him.

Our eyes met and I saw the concern in his eyes. I gave him a reassuring smile, "I'm just thinking about all that happened today. It's so shocking that Drake switched sides, and I've never heard him talk so much until today."

Jake nodded as the concern in his eyes vanished, "Yeah, Drake has never been much of a talker, and I'm also very surprised that he left us. But he has chosen to be our enemy, and that's what he is now."

As I was about to reply to him, a black limo drove into the school's parking lot and stopped right in front of us. Our attention went to it and we both looked at it to see who would come out. As I predicted, the door opened and Alpha Young climbed out of the limo through the owner's corner.

We straightened up and Jake took his hand away from my shoulder, but stayed close to me as Alpha Young approached us. He gave us a friendly smile as he stopped in front of us. "Max and Jake, I'm glad that you agreed to see our pack."

"Yes, we are too, but we haven't agreed to join just yet." Jake replied as he gave him a firm nod.

"I know, but just agreeing is a good thing since it could lead to you agreeing." He replied then glanced at me and our friends then back to Jake as he said, "Alright, let's get going."

"Sure." I said as Jake said okay.

He turned around and walked back to his limo. I could see his Beta and Gamma sitting farther inside the limo. He closed the door and Jake opened the driver's door to his car. I walked around the car to the passenger's side and opened it before climbing in.

As I closed my door after getting in, I saw our friends climbing into their cars as well through the window. Jake started the car just as the limo started moving forward. It drove down the street and he followed it. We continued trailing it at a moderate pace as Shane's car trailed his and Sean's trailed theirs.

Jake glanced at me, "Kane hasn't been giving us much trouble lately. I wonder what he's planning."

I looked over at him as I nodded, "Yeah, even when Drake went over to his table today, he only glared at us. I thought that he would even gloat or something like that like his usual sleazy self."

"He's acting too calm, he must be planning something." He said, looking very sure of himself as he turned back to look at the road.

"Or maybe he's just scared of you now that you're an Alpha?"

"No, that's not it. There's something going on that he doesn't want us to see coming."

"Then what could it be? Tanner should probably know." I replied as I pulled out my phone from my jeans pocket.

"Yeah, he should know and if he doesn't, he should try to find out for us." He said as he glimpsed at the phone in my hands before looking back forward.

"Okay, I'm texting him now." I replied as I tapped on Tanner's contact then tapped on the message icon.

'Hey, Tanner. Find out wht Kane's plann' and let us knw ASAP.'

"So about our date, wanna go tomorrow? I already have everything arranged including the heart stopping proposal that you deserve."

I moved my gaze from the phone and to him. He was looking at me and our eyes met. The corner of his lips tugged up into a smile, and I found myself smiling back. He looked back at the road, and I nodded, "Okay, let's do it tomorrow, my bad boy fiance."

He chuckled in his deep voice, "Alright then, my bad girl fiancee and wife."

I grinned at him calling me those two names. Music to my ears. I have never thought of marrying at such an early age, but love makes you do crazy things and so does the mate bond. How glad I was that I had met Jake. My life had changed ever since and surprisingly, it has been for the better even though he was the bad boy.

We soon arrived at Alpha Young's pack. It was a mansion with a beige painting and a fountain in the compound. His limo parked at the front of it and Jake did as well as Shane and Sean. He cut the engine, and we both opened our doors then climbed out of the car.

Jake locked the car by pressing his car keys. He placed it in his pocket as we walked towards Alpha Young with his Beta and Gamma. They were already walking up the white, block stairs of the mansion. We followed him and he pressed his thumb on a keypad beside the doorbell.

The door opened instantly and he walked in. We followed him in with our friends, and we were amazed at how beautiful the inside was. It was designed so elegantly and expensive vases with paintings lined the walls.

A group of five teenagers were passing by with two girls and three guys. They paused when they saw their Alpha and they bowed their heads, "Alpha."

They did the same to the Beta and Gamma before they turned to Jake and I to do the exact same. It was as if they had sensed the Alpha blood in us, and they probably did. They went on their way after waving at our friends who waved back.
