Chapter 101: Chapter 101

"I thought that there would be more people here since I assumed that you have a large pack." I commented as Alpha Young led us to a door, adjacent to the staircase.

He smiled, "Yes, this is a large pack, and at this time of the day, the pack mebers are usually all here."

He pushed open the door and walked in. We followed him in to see so many people at once. They were more than any amount of people that I have ever seen gathered in one place. They were littered everywhere, and were of young ages. From children to young adults, and that made me wonder where all the adults and old people were.

Some of pack members there were in wolf form and were play fighting on the trimmed grasses. Few were in wolf form and laying about as if sunbathing. Others were in human form sitting around, and laughing amongst themselves as they were sitting inside the large gazebo. They all tuned to the door when they heard it open and close.

They saw us and immediately ran over. Even the ones in wolf form transformed into humans and jogged over. As they reached us, they bowed their heads in unison as if choreographed as they said, "Welcome back, Alpha, Beta and Gamma, and guests!"

I couldn't help, but smile at how they were acting. It was like owning an army of your minions. I restrained my laugh as I thought about it. But then they were still pack members, so they couldn't be your minions. I turned my attention to Alpha Young as he started speaking.

"Thank you, young wolves! We have brought over two new Alphas that we will like to merge this pack with theirs. Alphas Jake and Luna Max with their friends and pack members."

"Hey." I said in greeting as I offered them a smile.

Jake smirked as he raised a hand and waved at them. Our friends gave them smiles in greeting as they watched us curiously. Some of the werewolves chorused, "Nice to meet you, Alpha, Luna and new pack members."

"You too, but we're not sure if we're merging our packs just yet. We've got to look around and learn more about you first." Jake said as he looked over at their faces.

"We hope that you find it interesting and do the merge." One voice said from among the crowd and I wasn't sure who.

"We hope so too." I replied them.

"You are all dismissed. We will now be showing them around." Alpha Young said to the gathered pack members.

"Yes, Alpha!" They all chorused before dispersing and going back to what they were doing before we came in.

I saw some walk over to a volleyball court while few went back to the gazebo, others turned back to their wolf form and continued play fighting. Alpha Young turned to us, still smiling, "Come with me, there's more to see."

"Okay." I replied as Jake answered, "Alright."

Alpha Young led us around the recreational area and behind the gazebo. I was surprised to see a swimming pool behind it that was empty at the moment. I glanced at Jake and saw that he was already looking at me. We exchanged knowing smiles since we knew that we would spend most of our time there once we join them.

"This is the pool, anyone can use it and sunbathe beside it of course." Alpha Young said as we passed it, taking our attention away from each other and to him.

He led us to a metal door and we followed him inside. I wasn't surprised to see ripped men and women fighting hand to hand in combat while others were in wolf form and fighting as well. They all paused and turned to us when they heard the sound of the door.

When they saw their Alpha, they bowed, "Alpha!"

They turned to the Beta and Gamma, and bowed, "Beta and Gamma!"

They turned to Jake and I with our friends, they bowed as well, but didn't say anything. Alpha Young glanced at us before looking back at them. "These are the Alphas that will be joining us with their pack members if they like our pack."

Some had confusion pass over their faces while others looked excited, but they all chorused, "Welcome!"

"Thanks." Jake replied, and I nodded at them while our friends offered them smiles.

Alpha Young glanced at us as he explained, "This is the training room and it's built for all training activities, and these are our pack warriors."

He looked back at the pack warriors and pointed at a buff guy with dark hair. "That's Joe, and he's the best in wolf, and hand to hand combat."

He looked proud as he said that, and Joe grinned as he raised one hand to wave at us. "Alpha Young flatters me too much. I only try my best in combat."

"Spoken like a true warrior." Jake commented, looking impressed.

Joe turned his grin to him, "Thank you, Alpha."

"I know that you all can shoot guns too since you were in the Jagger's Gang. So we'll set up the equipment here and you can have shooting practice here." Alpha Young said, gesturing to the space in the room. It was very big, and the walls were made of metal with almost floor length windows on the sides.

"Thanks, but how did you know all that? Did you do a background check on us or something?" I asked as I stared at him in curiosity.

Alpha Young laughed and even the Beta and Gamma that have been quiet cracked a smile. He nodded at me as his laugh died down. "I am sorry for invading all of your privacies, but it was needed for us to know more about you."

"Well, it is professional and required as you've said, so we can't hold it against you." I replied as I flashed a small smile to show that I was okay with it.
