Chrystal's pov:
The wait felt like forever. Don't even ask me what we were watching I could not even pay attention. The later it got the closer it got to me being able to see my mate. I got all the negativity out of my mind because I need to think positive to make sure this spell worked right. I do not know how many times while I was sitting there watching this movie that I would look up at the moon and pray to my mom to keep Terry and his friends safe tonight.
I watched the moon as she slowly rose above the clearing signaling for us to start the Beltane celebration. Man was she taking her sweet time tonight but she was almost there so we got up and started the rest of the preparations. Someone lite the fire while I went into my studio to put the CD's in the order that we needed them. I had to laugh to myself when I seen more CD's than me and Angie had picked out. Guess this is going to be one party to remember.
A few of the men brought the coolers full of ice and water out and set them up. Someone also turned on the twinkling lights around the clearing. I looked up again and the full moon was almost over the fire pit. A sign for Tabitha and Kimmie to start their decent down the mountain, to where Kimmie seen them coming in.
Angie took the extra costumes to the tree line where the guys will be coming out at. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in and then I opened them and asked everybody "are we ready." I looked around at everyone and they all shook their heads yes.
I watch as everyone got into their position circling the fire. I then look up at the moon and said "here goes nothing." and then hit my remote for my stereo system to start to play the first song.
The girls were on the inside of the circle and the boys were on the outside and as the first song came on we all started dancing around the fire. Me and the other witches were inside both circles holding hands and circling the fire starting the spell to clear a safe way for the boy's to make it to us safely. I knew Kimmie should be showing back up soon and she will start to help us with the spell. It was going to take every one of us to do this spell since it is the first time any of us had done this.
Kimmie's pov:
I could hear the guy's getting set up on the other side of the fog. Man you think they could be a little bit quieter. Men I say to myself while rolling my eyes. Tabitha must have been reading my mind cause I could hear her starting to chuckle at me. "Sssh they are going to hear you" I whisper to her. "Oh and you don't think they will hear you." Well duh I face palm my face. Man we are going to get caught if we don't straighten up.
The need to hurry up I need to get back up this mountain to help with the spell. I know there are other witches up there helping Chrystal but they are not as powerful and me and her so I know she is doing most of the work which will take a lot of energy from Chrystal. We cannot have that because we have two songs to go through before we get them up to us.
Hopefully Tabitha can get them up there faster than we hope. At least if they cooperate, you know men. I can finally see one of them coming through the barrier. To me I don't see fog but they see nothing but fog. It will be that way the whole way up unless I can get back up there to help. I can see a slight path opening but not enough for them to follow. "Tabitha get ready one of them is coming through." I say
"I am ready they need to quit messing around and come through already they are wasting precious time here do they not realize that."
"I don't think so they are men after all" yea I know I have little faith in the male species. I have my reason's bad experience and all.
The one finally comes through and I see a rope tied around his waist. Okay maybe this one is not dumb but I wonder how long there rope is. I bet they don't have enough to make it to the top of this mountain I say this to myself while shaking my head. I can hear Tabitha snickering in the tree behind me thinking the same thing I probably am.
Tired of waiting for all of them to come through I go up to the one who came in and say "hey"

They are one of my favorite bands even though I don't understand what they are saying. But the beat and different instruments they play is out of this world.
