Chapter 92: Chapter 92

Chapter 93

[Two Bleeding Hearts]

Ellie sat down, wondering if she should go or not. Jayson had sent Elsa the text earlier on for her to come and meet him. She looked at the clock that was ticking on the wall. It was already 6:30 PM.

I should go since Elsa is not around. She thought.

She stood up and wore the clothes she had picked specifically and wore a marching heels to it. It was a simple green gown and a pair of gold shoes. She hurriedly applied little make up to her face and added the lip gloss on her lips.

She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled with satisfaction. She stepped out of her room and walked down the stairs.

“Ellie, where are you off to?” She heard Mercy, her younger sister. She turned towards her. She smiled and pinched her cheeks.

“I will be meeting with someone. Will be back soon.” Ellie stated and gave a peck on her forehead.

“Please, get me ice cream on your way.” Mercy begged with a pout. Ellie chuckled.

“Sure.” She answered and waved at their two maids before exciting the house. She was the one that seemed so close to them all. She was never going to let Elsa take all the love here. Not again.

“Where to ma'am?” The driver asked as she sat down properly in her new SUV her dad got her the past week. She was really shocked.

She happily hugged them. She passed the address to him. He nodded his head and ignited the car's engine.

**

Jayson stood anxiously, waiting for her. His palms was becoming sweaty. He breathed out and in for few minutes. He was quite surprised when she sent him a message that she was coming. Like she obliged. He was really elated.

The past few days that they chatted, they have gotten quite closer and also more closer.

He could tell himself one thing. He has been trying to ignore it but he just could not forget it. Every day they video chat, her smiling face makes his day so bright and gives him this positive energy. He knew too well what that meant. He was just scared to accept it. But before, he loses her. He must say it!.

Then suddenly, he felt a presence. He turned around and saw her standing there with a nervous smile playing on her lips.

He beamed a smile at her. She walked closer to him.

She looked around the place. It was a playground. She chuckled silently as she thought about it. It was quite and colorful.

“You are here.” He said, bringing her attention to him. She nodded her head. She definitely cannot let him find out that it was not who he thought he was expecting. He grinned, he definitely does not know why he was becoming even more nervous.

Ellie swallowed hard.

“I am really happy you came. Was thinking you would just ignore me, thinking I was not serious about it.” He added. She feigned a smile. She can’t speak much, or else he would know.

The silence was making the whole thing awkward. He cleared his throat.

“Elsa.” He called softly, making Ellie stop whatever she was thinking and look at him. She could see how of a nervous wreck he was.

“I know whatever I am about to say is sudden and you might rip my head off me or even kick me below the belt…” He was saying when her eyes roamed down there, she looked away with a blush on her cheeks.

“I…” He swallowed hard. He breathed out.

What was he going to say?

Why was he nervous?

Hope it was not what she was thinking?

What was she even thinking?

“I love you and will love you to be my girlfriend.” He said. She gasped with her hand shaking in shock, placed on her lips.

He was in love with her sister!.

How was it possible?

Her lips was twitching in shock and her eyes glistening with tears. She looked away sharply and finding breathing hard.

“Hmm, El-Elsa… I know it was sudden. You don't need to give me an answer right now. You…” She turned around. She blinked back the tears and sniffed in. Jayson looked at her with concern.

She was never this emotional. What happened?

She turned away from him. “I… I will think about it and get back to you.” She stuttered and before he could talk again. She made a dash out of the place.

“Hey…” Jayson yelled with a confused look.

“What’s up with her?” He thought as he dipped his hand into his hair out of frustration.

The guy she has always been in love with just confessed his feelings for her sister.

She definitely could not stay a minute more as she could break down totally.

The tears were running down her face now.

“Drive faster.” She sobbed out angrily.

Jayson's phone vibrated in his pocket. He brought it out with a little difficulty and clicked on the ‘answer' button.

“Hello, Jayson.” Julia called out from the other end.

“Yes.” He answered.

“Mom asked me to tell you to be back for dinner.” She told him. He nodded his head and hummed an answer in response to her.

He disconnected the call and stood there confused.

**

“Stop.” Ellie told the driver suddenly, making him screech to an halt. She got out of the car and slam the door shut.

“You can go. I will be home soon.” She said and walked away from the car and the road.

She needed to scream. She wanted to cry. She could not take it anymore.

She was just tired. Tired of everything. Tired of bottling it up inside of her. Tired of pretending that she was fine when she wasn't.

She walked like a living dead. Like her soul was snatched from her. Unbothered by the things that were going on. The street was a quiet type with dim street lights. She could see that she appeared to be the only one there.

Should she be scared?

Perhaps, yes was the answer.

Then suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. She stopped abruptly and as she was about to turn around.

Someone engulfed her into a tight hug and placed his head on her shoulders, sobbing.

“Jake?!”
