Chapter 57: Chapter 57

**Two days later, In the Afternoon**

Ellie finally stepped out of her room since the rising of the sun. She walked towards the café with a wrinkled face like she was in some pain. She saw Jake sitting down with his friends on a table. She pursed her lips, contemplating whether to go meet him or not. She decided against it and went to sit with Aria.

“Hey, babe.” She hollered at her.

“Oh, Ellie. It is you.” She said as she sipped a little apple juice.

“Ain't you sitting down with your new made friend?” Maureen asked since she was on the same table with the both of them.

“He is with his friends as you can see.” Ellie replied and rolled her eyes.

“When will this people be back?” She asked after a while.

“Just give them two days more.” Aria said, patting her hands. Ellie pulled her hands away from her.

Then Aria remembered a conversation she had with Jake a night before. She smiled at her.

“All it takes is time.” She thought.

“Wish you happy ending.” She said as she ate some doughnut.

“What happy ending is that?” Maureen asked and Ellie peeked at her, expecting an answer also.

“What? Did I say happy ending?” She asked with eyes wide open.

“Yeah, you did.” Maureen affirmed.

“Oh, I can’t remember.” She said, scratching the back of her neck nervously.

“I will be right back.” She said as she quickly ran out of the café.

“Tsk! She said that, right?” She asked Ellie and Ellie nodded her head.

“What do you think she meant by that?” She asked again.

“I don’t know.” Ellie said and placed her head on the table.

“What happened?” Maureen asked with less concern.

“Just some cramps.” Ellie mumbled as she pressed her stomach with her hands.

“Just take a brief rest since the activities will back to the way it was before.” Maureen advised. Ellie smiled a little and closed her eyes.

“Elsa.” Christian called out. He has been calling her since they collected their lunch. Elsa heaved a sigh and stopped walking. She turned around to look at him.

“And how may I help you?” She asked gruffly.

“Ermm..” He walked closer to her. Deep down in him, he knew what he wanted to look. He stylishly glanced around and saw Jayson staring at the both of them. He smirked internally and in a blink of an eye, he smashed his lips on that Elsa.

Elsa’s eyes went wide open as she gasped in surprise. She definitely did not know how to react here.

Jayson unknowingly squeezed his fingers as he watched them. He turned away in anger and rage with an hidden feeling he did not want to believe he was feeling.

Then she came back to her senses and pushed his back.

“What was the meaning of that?” She asked angrily and before Christian could give her a reply, her palm already connected to his cheek. He looked up at her immediately.

“Never, I repeat never ever in your entire damn stupid life try that with me again.” She warned with fingers pointed at him. She looked around and saw Jayson walking away. She did not know why but her legs moved on their own and she started running towards him.

“Jayson.” She called out and he stopped walking.

“You just finished kissing your boyfriend and here you are after another guy, what kind of girl are you?” Shawna's voice rang as she took slow strides towards the both of them.

“What are you trying to insinuate?” Elsa asked as she wrapped her arms around herself.

“Nothing. Absolutely nothing.” She said with a little mischievous smile.

“Shawna, can you leave us?” Jayson asked. Shawna looked at him and nodded then she walked off. At a distance she did a thumbs up Christian. They were in this together.

“Jayson.” She said hesitantly.

“Why are you here? Don’t you think it might hurt his feelings?” He asked as he sat down on a brick close to him, trying to suppress yelling at her.

“Actually, there is nothing between us.” She said.

Over the past two days, they have been able to get along a little. Even though Elsa could be a little sassy, rude, arrogant or egocentric. They moved along well.

“Why did I feel the need to tell him anyways?” She thought and scoffed internally.

“But he just placed his lips on yours.” He said with an eye brow raised. Elsa chuckled with the way he said it.

“You could have just said he kissed me. Anyways we are nothing just Exes.” She explained.

“Oh.. Regret it?” He asked.

“Would say yes.” She said with a little smile.

“And also I have been wanting ask you this question.” He said as he stood up. They started walking towards their tents.

“And what is that?” She asked.

“Erm.. What is your feud with wealthy kids?” He asked. She laughed heartily and said, “I don’t have any feud with anyone but the people I have met, always proves my point to be correct.”

“But don’t you think you generalize it way too much?” He asked as he placed his hands in his pockets.

“I don’t think so. I just say what I know.” She said and shrugged.

“Concerning Christian…” She trailed off.

“It’s nothing. Not like you are my girlfriend or I am your dad that you need to explain things to anyways.” He said softly but it kind of tasted bitter on his lips. Somewhere within him felt excited that she wanted to explain things to him.

“Friends?” He asked as he extended his hands. She looked at him in the eye before bringing her gaze down to his extended hand.

She smiled and took it in her hand.

“Friend.” She replied and he smiled.

“I never thought we will ever be friends.” He said as he looked at the sky.

“Things happen. And if I may ask, from what I have noticed about you and seen myself, you hardly hang out with other people, like you are very selective of the friends you move with. Why did you want me to be your friend?” She asked and looked at him. He glanced at her and said, “I felt like you were different.”

“I thought you said they were going to fight?” Christian said, almost yelling at Shawna.

“Hey, don’t use that tone on me again. They were supposed to.” She said curtly.

“You know I’m done. We were never involved together in this. Get it?” He pointed his index finger at her.

“Will get a way for myself.” He muttered as he marched away.

She smiled and soon started laughing.

“Stupid. Just wanted to use you.” She smirked.
