Chapter 28: Chapter 28

“What are you thinking about?” Elsa asked Ellie who seemed to be in deep thoughts.

“I was thinking of how granny would have be faring.” Ellie said and sighed.

“Grandma is not that weak that she can do anything herself.” Elsa said as she dropped the last piece of clothing in their bags.

“We are only going for two weeks and you packed almost all our clothing?” Ellie asked as she looked at her the bags before her.

“Yes, anything wrong?” Elsa asked. “You only sat there thinking, not helping me with packing.”

Ellie hissed and went on to take some things.

“How are we going to get a bus that will take us?” Ellie asked out of the blue.

“We will wait at the bus station.” Elsa said and carried her bags. Ellie stood up and combed her hair, she packed it up into pony tail and followed her sister. Elsa locked the door and handed the key over to the dorm keeper.

They walked with their luggage towards the dispatching lounge and saw Julia. Julia waved at them to come closer, they shook their head and went over to her.

“Where are your parents?” Julia asked. If only Julia knows that the question she asked without worry is actually one that could make tears brim down the twins’ face, she would not have asked it.

“They should be quite busy to come.” Elsa said quickly.

“What work do they do?” She asked.

“Hmm..” The twins were still thinking of what to say when they heard someone call Julia.

“Julia Miss, Are you not going?” The driver asked.

“Oh my bad, I am coming.” Julia said.

“Hey, this is my contact, you can give me a call as soon as you get home.” She said hurriedly and ran to meet the driver.

“Good bye.” She stopped and said to them. They smiled and waved at her.

“Now, we are left, let’s go.” Elsa said and Ellie was about to walk when she felt a hand hold her. She stopped and turned towards the person.

“Hey.” Aria said.

“Oh, it is you.” Ellie said.

“Just wanted to say bye.” She said.

“Okay then.” Ellie said.

“See you in two weeks' time.” Aria said and waved at her.

“Yes.”

“Ellie.” She heard someone call her.

“Oh, please when are we ever going to leave this place without someone calling you?” Elsa complained.

“At least I made friends.” Ellie said and scoffed at her.

“Just wanted to say goodbye.” Jake said.

“Yeah.” Ellie said awkwardly.

“Bye then.” Jake said without moving.

“Bye.” She replied and left.

They walked out of the school gates.

“How far is it from this place to the bus station?” Elsa asked.

“I don’t know, it is sunny today and I feel like my skin is under fire.” Ellie said.

“This scorching sun…” Elsa was cut off by Jayson's voice.

“Ellie, what are you doing under this sun, come in.” He knows very well not to talk to Elsa. Ellie turned to look at him. Elsa also looked at him and hissed but before Ellie could talk, Elsa already gave him a reply.

“We don’t need ride from you and as you can see we will get to the bus station soon.” She said and eyed him. He smiled and said, “As you can see miss, I was not referring to you but your sister. Please keep shut.”

Two can play the game. He smirked.

“Whatever.” She said and rolled her eye.

“I am leaving.” She announced and started walking.

“Thank you so much, I really appreciate but..”

“I understand.” He said cutting her off. She smiled and followed her sister.

**

“Gosh, when is the bus going to get here?” Ellie said trying to shade her face away from the sun.

“It will arrive soon.” Elsa said.

“I am tired.”

Not far away stood a car, she sighted them and ordered the driver to wind down the window. The driver did it and she looked out. She smirked.

“I was right, she is not from a wealthy family as I thought.” Shawna said.

“We are going on a break but after this break you are going to know who your boss is, I will teach you a lesson you have never been taught before, I promise you.” She thought.

“Enjoy your time under the sun.” She said and looked away.

“Drive.” She ordered.

**

“Grandma.” Ellie shouted as soon as they got to there compound. The woman looked up upon hearing that familiar voice.

“Oh my goodness.” She said surprised and stood up. The twins ran towards her and hugged her.

“Oh my babies, how have you been doing?” She asked.

“Fine granny and you?” Ellie asked.

“Fine and strong.” She said and made a gesture. They laughed at her.

“And why are you home? Hope it us not that you have been expelled or suspended?” She asked.

“Granny, how could you think something like that?” Ellie asked.

“You know how troublesome and mischievous you both are.” She said.

“Well, we are on a short break which will only last for two weeks and after then we will go back.” Elsa said.

“Oh, okay then. Go and freshen up. I will prepare lunch for you guys.” She said and they went into the house.

“Home sweet home.” Ellie said inhaling the air.

“I missed it so much.” She said as she walked towards her room.

“Not only you.” Elsa said and sat down.

After some while.

“So how was studies?” Their grandma asked serving them their food.

“Fine and tiring.” Ellie said.

“You have to keep up with it.” She said and smiled.

“Granny, let me give you some spicy juice.” Ellie said with a mischievous voice. She looked at her sister go was not even minding her.

“You should know Jayson.” She asked.

“Jayson?” Their granny asked.

“Yes, the one I said I like.” She said and smiled.

“Oh, him, what's up with him?” Their granny asked.

“Nothing, it is just that..”
