Chapter 29: Chapter 29
Ellie went on to explain everything that happened between Elsa and Jayson. Shawna's threat and all without leaving anything out.
“Wow, that was funny.” Their granny said cleaning the tears that had gathered because of laughing at what Ellie said.
“What is funny about what she said, granny?” Elsa asked annoyed.
“I mean the both of you did not want to talk to each other and yet he came first, you both must be stubborn.” She said.
“When you are done with these useless talks meet me in my room.” Elsa said and stood up. Their granny and Ellie burst out laughing again.

“Don’t you miss dad and mom?” Ellie suddenly brought up the question. Elsa turned towards her and sighed.
“When Julia asked that question earlier on, I was kind of angry and sad.” Elsa said quietly.
“I miss them too.” She said.
“If they were alive, maybe we would have been living just perfectly.” Elsa said.
“Yes.” Ellie said and stood up.
“They have always wanted the best for us, you know..” Ellie said looking at their frame that was placed right beside the mirror.
“So what are we going to do during the break?” Ellie asked.
“Hmm, I think I will go see my boss and ask him if I could stay for two weeks.” Elsa said.
“What of me?” Ellie asked.
“You can go back to helping Madam Gu sell her products.” Elsa said and shrugged.
“Nope.” Ellie said and sat down.
“Then what do you want to do?” Elsa asked.
“I will look for a job for the meanwhile.” Ellie said.
“What if you don’t see?” Elsa asked.
“Be optimistic.” Ellie said.
“You are the one that knows that, you can do whatever you want. Goodnight.” Elsa said and laid on her bed.
“Good night.” Ellie mumbled.

“Gosh, Mum, tonight's dinner was so delicious.” Jayson said and pecked her cheeks.
“Oh, stop boy.” She said and hit his shoulders.
“Ouch, mum, that hurts.” He said and held his shoulders.
“Whatever.” She said and rolled her eyes at his behavior.
“What of Helen?” He asked as he took as seat besides her. Helen was his younger sister.
“She is not back from her aunt's place yet.” She replied.
“When is she coming back so I can be prepared to get some lashing?” He asked.
She smiled and said, “tomorrow.”
“What?” He yelled.
“I need to prepare for her trouble, mom, goodnight.” He said and hurriedly stood up.
“Who's home?” The masculine voice made him stop right on his track. He swallowed dryly and turned.
“My honey.” His mom called out as soon as she saw her husband.
“Oh my wife.” He said pecking her all over her face. He stopped suddenly and looked at the figure standing right in front of him.
“Good day, Dad.” He said.
His dad smiled widely and went to engulf him in a hug.
“Oh, Jayson, you are back?” He asked.
“We are on a short break.” He said and his dad turned towards his mom.
“Hmm, yes, we were told on Tuesday.” She said.
“But..” His dad turned towards him.
“We will be going for basketball practice as the competition is approaching.” He said.
“Good, absolutely nice.” His dad said and patted him on the shoulder.
“And what of Julia?” His dad asked.
“She is in her room upstairs.” Jayson answered.
“Good.” His dad said.
“I am tired darling, I need your ever soothing hand massage.” His dad said.
“Always available for you.” She smiled and followed him. Jayson smiled and heaved a sigh.
“Tiring.”
**NEXT MORNING**
“Good morning to you, Good morning to you..” Jayson heard from his deep slumber. He tossed to the other side of the bed.
The childish feminine voice sang again.
“Oh, stop it, can't you see I am sleeping?” He asked out of frustration.
“I can see you are sleeping but don’t you think you should be awake by now?” She asked.
“And who are you to tell me that?” He mumbled sleepily.
“Because I am Helen Smith.” At the mention of that name, he sprang up immediately and sat. He looked around and saw the little she devil smiling mischievously at him.
“Oh, Helen.” He said smiling awkwardly.
“Yes, it is me, Helen Smith, your younger sister. Your darling, you remember?.” She said and brought the paint in her hands closer to him.
“D-Don't y-you dare c-come closer.” He stuttered as he tried pulling away for her.
“And where are you going to go to?” She asked and in the blink of an eye, she dumped the entire paint on his face.
“Oww..” He said as he rubbed the paint off his face but still there was still some on him and on the bed. He looked at her and then at his stained fingers. He smirked and rubbed it on her face.
“Now, this is what we call pay back.” He said and stood up.
“What the actual hell?” Helen said as she stared at herself in the mirror.
“Jayson Smith, you are so dead.” She said as they began the game of chase. Helen kept running after hearing big brother.
“You were the first to pour the paint on me so what is my offence?” He asked as they kept chasing each other.
“You put paint on me.” She yelled.
“Well, I just did what you did to me.” He screamed back.
“Nope, I will definitely make you pay for what you did.” She replied back.
“Don’t you think I should be the one saying that!” He said.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
This made them both stop running and faced the door.
“Who is there?” He asked.
“Come in.” He ordered.
The maid opened the door and went in.
“What is it you want?” He asked.
“Madam asked me to tell that it is time for breakfast.” She said.
“Tell her I will be there in few minutes.” He said and looked at the mirror.
“Gosh, I am so fvcked up.” He said and wiped off the paint from his hair.
“Not only you.” Helen said.
“I already bath and prepared to go out today but you ruined my cloth.” She said.
“You know what I’m gone.” She said and barged out of his room.
“Attitude.” He scoffed.
