Chapter Twenty Seven

[Break]

“Nothing ‘s wrong with me. I just need a break from all this.” Elsa said.

“What do you mean by nothing's wrong? I know what was written there was bad and not what should be heard or said but why did you have to particularly point out Jayson over what he seems not to be involved?” Ellie asked not understanding a thing.

“You know what? I am tired of answering your rhetorical questions. Someone insulted our deceased parents saying they were too poor to pay our fees and you are here defending them? You are so ridiculous.” Elsa said shaking her head.

“Yeah, I know that was wrong of her but what has it got to do with Jayson is what I asked.” Ellie asked.

“And more so, how many times will I tell you that not all rich kids are rude and arrogant as you said.” Ellie said.

“Babe, you need to give yourself sometime. Take your mind away from these rich kids. They are slowly affecting you.” She said finally and went into the bathroom.

“You don’t understand.” Elsa said and a tear slipped down her face. She dabbed it off quickly.

**Next morning**

“Hey, Ellie.” Jake said running after Ellie.

“Hey, please wait up.” He begged. She stopped and turned towards him.

“Is it until my sister kicks your ass that you will understand what she meant?” She asked.

“You and I both know that she can't.” He said smiling. At least she was not ignoring him.

“I heard you guys will be competing another high school, good luck.” She said.

“Thanks.” He said and smiled.

“Can we hang out later today?” He asked.

“No.” She said blatantly looking at a direction. Jake was taken aback with her response until he saw that she was not looking at him but behind him. He turned around and saw the she-devil. He smiled nervously looking at her angry face.

“Haven't I warned you to stay away from us?” Elsa asked as she walked closet to them.

“Yes, you did but I think your sister can make the decision herself. Why acting like a big sister?” He asked.

“How I act is none of your business.” She said and scoffed.

“I don’t understand your problem with wealthy kids but I can vouch for Jayson that…” He was still talking when Elsa shunned him by raising her hands up. He clamped his mouth shut immediately.

“I don’t want to hear his name or anything that has to do with him.” She said and left them.

“Can you tell me why your sister is like that?” He asked Ellie.

“Don't know either.” She said and shrugged.

She watched as they talked and laughed.

“I thought they were going to fight but now this..” She thought angrily.

“They were supposed to fight, weren't they?” She asked angrily.

“When I thought my plans was working out, the Ellie of a girl ruins it.”

“I need another plan.” She thought and marched angrily towards her class.

Class went on and on with teachers going out and coming in taking several subjects but few students were concentrating as some minds were far away.

The bell rang for announcement period and soon, all students came out of their respective classes and walked towards the hall.

“Good day, Shining stars.” The principal called out enthusiastically.

“Good day, Sir.” They all replied. Well, you could say few did murmur in response as they hate announcement period.

“As you know, we will be going on a short break of two weeks.” He shouted through the microphone.

“Hope, you all enjoy your break and also don’t forget to always go through your book some times as soon as you return we will begin our test in preparation for the coming examination soon.” He announced.

All the students wore bright smiles as soon as he finished talking.

“Yippy.” They all cheered happily.

“And also…” The vice principal was about to talk when the cheering turned to silent but could be heard murmurs. She smiled at them.

“Have a nice break and don’t forget to read.” She said. They all sighed and smiled. She with all her strict but she has a place for all her students.

“Since tomorrow is Friday, you can start packing some of your things. We already informed your parents. They will come pick you guys.” She said.

“Thank you, ma'am.” They all chorused.

“You are dismissed.” The principal announced.

“Yes!” Julia exclaimed and started jumping.

“I am finally going home.” She said.

“Just for two weeks.” Elsa said reminding her.

“I know.” Julia said and rolled her eyes.

“You are behaving like you are going forever and not coming back.” Elsa said while Ellie chuckled.

“I am happy because I finally had a break from these reading and writing and working. I wish..” She was still talking when Elsa caught her off.

“You wish you were a bird in the sky, so that you can fly freely.” Elsa said.

“Actually, not bird but star.” Julia said.

“Stars are only visible at night but if you wished you were a star, where will you be during the day?” Ellie asked.

“I will be in a place where only peace and happiness stays.” Julia said.

“Funny you.” Ellie said and hit her shoulder.

“Where do you stay exactly?” Ellie asked after a while.

“With my parents.” Julia replied and smirked.

“Where? Not with who?” Ellie asked.

“Why do you want to know?” Julia asked.

“Nothing, knowing friends house, you know.” Ellie said and shrugged.

“Don’t worry, we will talk over the phone.” She said

“Can’t wait to meet mum and dad.” Julia said. The twins smiled at her childish behavior.

“You must be your parents' favorite.”

“No, not really but kinda.” She said.

“I am tired and we need to do some packing as it is.” Elsa said not wanting to go further in the discussion.

“Okay, I also have to do some packing too.” Julia said and jumped down from the place she was seated.

“Good bye, see you tomorrow at the dispatching lounge.” She said and ran away.

“Silly.” Ellie said and followed Elsa.
