"I must say your pack looks beautiful," Lauren said looking outside through the window.

"Thanks." I gave her a short reply and she gave me a weird look and turned away.

"You know, you won't die if you talk a little more. So speak up, and express your feelings in words, it will help you to feel light from inside. Trust me, just try this for once, I guarantee you, you will feel better." She gave me a broad smile but I didn't show any expression on my face and turned to look forward.

My heart smiles at her words. I suppressed my smile so that she doesn't live in any misunderstanding that she affects me or her words. My wolf is madly in love with her. And my heart is also getting attracted towards her. I don't know how long I will be able to control myself. But I will try my best to stay away from her.

"Umm, don't you feel bored sitting like this without doing anything?" She asked me tilting her head at me.

"No."

"Ugh!" She let out a frustrated groan while clenching her first.

"You are driving me insane now." She yelled in a whisper while gritting her teeth.

Then she closed the distance between us and leaned close to my face. "Tell me, are you trying to ignore me for the awkward encounter with your wolf? If it is then don't worry, I'm not into you. And moreover, Nothing can happen between us." My head snapped at her and as a result, our faces came very close to each other. Our noses touched only an inch distance between our lips. A huge urge was pushing me to place my lips on her and taste her luscious tempting lips.

I lifted my eyes to see her closed eyes which made me lose my mind and I couldn't control myself from smashing my lips but before I could she pulled away.

"Control Lycan King, Control." Lauren patted my shoulder holding a smirk on her lips and I felt embarrassed for my action.

I sat straight and then leaned on my seat and closed my eyes pretending to sleep. Thank God there was a partition on, otherwise what the driver would think about me?

I heard her clearing her throat. "I know it's not easy for us to control ourselves from getting attracted to the person whom our hearts want. But I know you can do it." I snapped my eyes open and looked at her to find her looking at me with her innocent face blinking at me cutely. She is doing this purposely. She's intentionally making it difficult for me. She doesn't know she is playing with fire now. And playing with fire means destruction. And I won't be sorry if I ruin her in an erotic way.

I immediately caged her between me and the window. Her eyes were wide ready to come out of its sockets. Her lips parted and it took everything on me to control myself from smashing my lips with hers and kissing her senselessly.

I watched Rhys walking to Lauren's side to open the door for her but I beat him into that.

"Rhys!" I reached the door with my superpower and called for him to stop. He looked at me in surprise.

"What?" He asked me knitting his brows together.

"You don't have to bother. I can do that." His jaw touched the floor and he looked at ke with wide eyes.

"Really!" He asked me and I nodded.

I opened the door for her and leaned to look at her and found her all ready.

"Come." I reached out my hand for her and she placed her hand on mine. Then she got out of the car. The moment I turn around I found Jace and James standing in front of me.

"Let us escort our mate to the pack house. If you are forgetting then let me remind you brother she is our mate for other people even though she's carrying your child. It will look inappropriate if you take her inside when we are her mate right here. Am I wrong, brother?" James whispered in my ear, making my hold lose on her hand.

He was right. I got so possessive over her that I could not bear to see her with them so close. I was burning from inside when I saw them taking her inside the palace. I could only watch them taking my girl away from me. Yes, my girl. If I wasn't helpless today I would have chopped off their hands for touching my girl.

I walked to the main door and found Brianna at the door welcoming Lauren. My heart stopped beating when Jace said, "Meet our Luna. She's Brianna. Jaxon's mate." Lauren's head snapped at my side in shock. I could understand her condition. What she's feeling now.
