Chapter 54: Chapter 54
Chapter 53
"What's your plan?" Lina asked me as we ate fruits while sitting in a chair under a cherry blossom tree here in Trevas' courtyard. We already have our own courtyard given by the king during the new year celebration a month ago but we are used to living here and we don't want to live alone in the big courtyard so we didn't bother to pack up and leave. courtyard niTrevas. After all, Trevas was willing and I seemed to be closer to him.
“What’s my plan?” I asked back before munching on a sliced apple.
"About Luke and his father" said Lina so I stopped chewing. "You said we'll go back there once everything is in order here in Beifang…"
I gasped before leaning back in my chair and looking up at the sky. Honestly, I don’t want to go back. I just want to stay here in Beifang and quietly be with Trevas and live here peacefully but every time I think of my parents I feel intense guilt. I feel like I'm a worthless child if I just let the people responsible for their deaths live happily and I know for the rest of my life I will feel this if I don't return to Bauxacel.
"Should we just stay here?" Lina asked so I turned to her. Should we?
I opened my mouth and was about to speak but suddenly the events in Plaza De Rinos where my father died in front of me suddenly entered my mind. Suddenly I remembered the condition of Knoxx manor when I returned. The blood of the servants flowed on the floor and almost the entire mansion was on fire. Then suddenly I remembered the words Luke had said to me before.
“We’re going to use you. We will use you as a general to serve the kingdom just as we used General Knoxx when he was still in office. ”
"Alissa" I suddenly came back to reality when I heard someone call my name and that's when I noticed Trevas who had been standing in front of Lina and me.
"Hey, your conversation with his majesty king henrick is over?" I asked before reaching for a slice of watermelon and bursting it.
"Yes" Trevas sighed so I immediately turned to him. I smell something fishy.
"Is it just me or do I feel like you're not good enough to tell us?" Lina asked before chewing on the one she was holding holding a whole apple.
Trevas sighed again before a card was laid on the table. It’s golden in color and it’s pretty obvious that the flesh is expensive and important.
"What is that?" Lina asked before she was the first to open it and look at the flesh. It’s an invitation.
“A Threekingdom alliance ceremony will be held in Bauxacel as a reconciliation between the three kingdoms. The Beifang, Bauxacel and Firlame. That ceremony will be held so that the three kingdoms can reconcile and the battle will end. ”
I nodded before I snatched the letter from Lina. The invitation was made of expensive paper and smelled of flowers but my attention was not focused on it but on the content of the letter.
"Why are you telling this to us?" I asked while reading the letter.
"In order to agree to the alliance, the Beifang kingdom must send a representative to Bauxacel."
I was suddenly paralyzed and nervous.
“And the king of Bauxacel wants you, Alissa. What we will send ”
“And the king of Bauxacel wants you, Alissa. What we will send ”
"You've gotta be kidding me" Lina whispered and I saw that she dropped the apple she was eating so it fell to the floor.
"Just me?"
"You don't have to go Alissa" Trevas said so I was surprised at him.
"How's the Alliance?"
"We can send someone else, they can't do anything because Luke, one of their brave generals, is still under the Infragilis vow."
"But Luke is not the only general who has Bauxacel"
Trevas sighed before sitting down next to me and squeezing himself.
“Don’t worry about that, we can manage”
This time, I was out of breath. "So you want to go to war in case I don't want to return to Bauxacel?"
"Yep" he said before picking up a sliced watermelon and eating it.
"No need, I'll go" Lina and Trevas looked at me at the same time.
“Are you sure? Once you agree, there’s no turning back ”said Trevas but I just nodded.
"I have to, I have to face the past I'm trying to escape"

I closed the blue suitcase and pressed the button on the handle and at the same time the suitcase suddenly lit up. When the light around it disappeared, the suitcase was gone and the only thing left was a bracelet that was the same color as the suitcase.
One of the common magical items used every time you travel because instead of a large piece of luggage you carry a small bracelet.
"Are you really leaving?" I turned to look at my bedroom door when I saw Trevas.
"Shouldn't you be in training camp?" During those times, Trevas was always at the training camp to train his staff.
"You don't have to leave, we can send another representative for the threekingdom alliance ceremony" he said, ignoring my question.
"Bauxacel won't like that"
“I don’t care-”
"I do care" I said before facing him, he was leaning against the doorframe of my room door. "I don't want Beifang and Bauxacel to be enemies again just because of me, I don't want to waste the alliance just because I'm afraid to face the people responsible for the death of my parents"
Trevas sighed. Before approaching me and holding me on the wrist where the magical bracelet was wearing.
"Alright, but I'm coming"
I frowned but before I could speak he raised an eyebrow at me. "Do you expect me to just leave you alone in Bauxacel where that Luke is hanging around?"
I couldn’t help but laugh at what he said. Although I was hesitant to include Trevas in Bauxacel, I knew I could never change his mind.
In the end, I did nothing but include Trevas. Trevas had many roles in the training camp but because Lieutenant Jared had been promoted to Captain Jared and they were equal to Trevas' position, Trevas left his roles with him.
At first, king henrick didn't want Trevas to come with me but he didn't do anything because Trevas didn't budge either. What I didn't expect was Lina coming with me, I thought she would choose to stay here in Beifang with Lieutenant- Captain Jared so I was surprised when I saw her packing the day before Trevas and I left. .
"You thought I'd leave you alone porket I've already found a man?" Lina sighed.
"Quite?"

Lina was even more upset but she grabbed her chest and looked at me. “That hurts, I will never trade you for any man Alissa. You were always there for me and even when I was a helper and our world was very different, you didn't make me feel that I was different from you and you treated me like your sister. So I will always be here for you too, no matter what ”
My eyes filled with tears at what he said and I stretched out my arms to hug him and he laughed but he still came up to me and hugged me tightly.
"What about Captain Jared then?" I said as he parted to hug me.
She sighed before shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know ... I can't really expect anything from him because we don't have a label"
"Did you tell her?" I asked but he didn't say a word. Looks like not yet.
"Let it go, let's not bother" said Lina so I did nothing else but let her decide about her problem, I also have no right to participate in what they have with captain jared.
The next day, before the sun came up, we prepared to go to Bauxacel. I suggested at first that I just teleport the three of us to Bauxacel, after all, he knew the place, but Trevas was against that idea because it was too far away and might run out of magic onmy body. We will just take a train to Bauxacel and I guess it will take us a few hours to get there.
I clung so tightly to the coat I was wearing when the cold breeze blew, it was quite bright but the sun was still not completely shining. Trevas and Lina and I were now walking to the carriages but I noticed that Lina had stopped walking so I turned to her.
"Lina?" I asked but Lina didn't seem to hear anything and just kept staring somewhere. I followed his gaze and my eyes widened when I saw Captain Jared standing a few meters away from us. What is he doing here in the palace so early.
"Are you sending him here so you can say goodbye properly?" I asked Lina. He shook his head.
"No, I didn't tell him I would come with you back to Bauxacel" Lina said almost in a whisper.
I frowned and was about to speak when I felt someone hold my shoulder. I looked behind me and saw Trevas smiling at me. "Let's give them some space"
I nodded at her before I looked back at Lina. I held her arm so she turned her gaze to me as well. "Talk to me."
Lina didn't say a word but started walking in the direction of captain jared. Trevas and I walked to the carriage we were going to use.
