Chapter 19: Chapter 19

Chapter 18

It was early in the morning when drowsiness visited me so it was about noon when I woke up. I got out of bed and saw that Lina was no longer inside the tent so I quickly prepared for the start this afternoon.

I wore my combat clothes that Trevas gave me last week but until now I'm still amazed at it. I also maybe stared at my reflection in the mirror for a few minutes before deciding to leave the tent.

When I came out, I could feel the danger approaching. Everyone is already wearing combat clothes so I'm not wearing that much anymore. I also noticed everyone walking towards the direction of the camp entrance but I did not imitate them and walked towards the main tent as discussed yesterday.

As soon as I entered, I heard my name. "Where's Alissa?"

"Here" I said reason to turn to me were Trevas, sergeant min, and colonel jay who were currently talking while circling there at the table with the map. I looked around when I didn't see Lina but my eyes immediately widened when Lieutenant Jared entered the tent and Lina was wrapped in his arm.

"Why don't you like me?" Lina asked.

"Not because I don't want you— '

"Edi do you really like me?" Lina asked which made my head hurt even more. Really lina? Did you even get to deal with this situation?

"This is not the time for that" lieutenant Jared answered seriously before forcing Lina's grip to be removed.

"Lieutenant" Trevas calls reason for the two of us to turn around. I noticed that the tips of lieutenant Jared's ears were red but Lina was still tall as she walked towards me.

"What was that?" I will ask.

"What?" He asked back but before I could interrupt him with the question Sergeant Min had already spoken so we were silent.

"We received news from the spy sent to the camp of the barbarians that another kingdom was helping them"

We turned to her at the same time when we heard what she said. Another kingdom?

"We're not sure which kingdom but the personnel it sent were stronger and more powerful than the normal barbarians so it doesn't look like our attack will be easy" Colonel Jay replied before folding his arms.

"What did the other camp say?" Trevas asked.

"Prince Alastor's camp? All their major general said is that the war will continue no matter what happens" replied Sergeant min.

Trevas nodded before biting his nail while thinking deeply. "I think we'd better find out first how strong the kingdom personnel are helping the barbarians"

We all nodded and agreed. We don't know how strong our opponent will be so it's not a good idea if we just rush.

"Colonel, retreat. Please let us know the other camp." Trevas said to colonel jay but before he could answer someone suddenly entered the tent. At the same time we turned around and there we saw a man bent over, gasping for breath as if someone was chasing him.

"How many times do I have to say we can't be disturbed when meeting?" Lieutenant Jared asked seriously. The man stood up straight at the door before saluting and gasping for breath.

"Lieutenant, Prince Alastor's camp rushed first"

"What ?!" Trevas suddenly hit the table, causing the flags standing there to fall. Trevas quickly walked out and lieutenant jared and colonel jay were supposed to be next but I suddenly teleported to the door and blocked their way.

"How did you do that?" Sergeant Min asked in shock before turning to look at me and my seat earlier at the back. I forgot that they didn't know my true power yet.

"It doesn't matter how long I can teleport you all at once so we can get out of the camp faster." I noticed that the four of them looked at each other but Lina just went straight to cling to me. Trevas nodded at the three before they clung to my shoulder and at the same time teleported me to the front of the camp.

I felt a big decrease in my power but you also gradually changed when I felt the flow of power from my clothes.

I looked around and stopped to look at their camp not far away which is now quiet and empty.

"Shit" I heard lieutenant Jared whisper as he looked where and when I followed where he was looking I was almost sneering as well.

Seen here, about a kilometer away was the simultaneous march of thousands of Alastor’s men to the camp of the barbarians.

"What is he doing ?!" Trevas asked before combing his hair.

I looked behind us and saw Trevas' 3,000 men stationed. In front are the earth and fire users while on the side and behind are the water and air users. There are also rare element users but there will only be two nature users, Trevas and I are level 7 dark and I am also a level 7 ice user.

"Alissa, can you teleport me to Alastor's place" I turned to Trevas before looking in the direction of Alastor's staff. I can see where I can teleport so I can. I nodded to Trevas so he immediately grabbed my wrist and we teleported together in front of 7,000 fighters and in front of them was Alastor.

"How?" Alastor asked when he saw us suddenly appear in front of them. He stopped the white unicorn he was riding so the others also stopped walking because only Alastor was riding a unicorn.

"Stop it already Alastor, this is not our plan" Trevas said to which Alastor laughed.

"What? You actually think I'll follow the plan?" Alastor's arrogant question caused me to frown. He was not so brave when we were in the palace. He always quietly tailed his demon mother but now he has the courage because there are 7,000 warriors behind him.

I noticed that Trevas' fist was clenched so I held his arm to calm him down.

"Would you look at that? It's so sweet, is he the one who teleported you here?" We didn’t keep quiet, we didn’t have to tell him my power.

"She's quiet useful. In that case, I'll take care of her when I'm king Trevas. I'll take good care of her" he replied smiling and I was almost angry with his face.

"Don't go Alastor, the barbarians have accomplices from other kingdoms so we shouldn't rush—"

"Oh shut up" Alastor snapped at him. "Those are nothing compared to the 7,000 royal armies of the Beifang kingdom" he said while pointing behind him.

I noticed that someone approached Alastor, one of his men, and I'm sure it was the major general of their Alastor camp because of the two stars sewn on the shoulder of his combat clothes.

Alastor lowered his head slightly to listen to what his lieutenant was saying but his head suddenly became hot and he looked at it angrily.

"What do you mean that I already agreed to what they want? This is our chance to defeat the barbarians without using that slap" Alastor pointed out to Trevas.

My blood boiled because of what he said so I controlled the little flower at my feet and flew it in Alastor's direction. It hit Alastor's cheek and immediately bled, he grabbed it and winced in pain while watching the blood on his hand.

"Who did that?" Alastor shouted before turning around but he stopped looking at Trevas and me. "It was you two, right?"

We didn't say a word, which made Alastor's face flush with anger. He gathered the fire in his right hand and threw it in Trevas and me's direction. Before I could make a water barrier to surround us, Trevas came in front of me and twisted his arm in the air before crossing his chest and at the same time a black circle appeared in front of us and in the middle there was a black triangle and words written that I do not understand.

The fire hit the shield made by Trevas but it also disappeared immediately.

"Stop that Alastor, you can't win this fight" Trevas said before slowly removing the black shield in front of us.

"Then what? You will be the one to start so that you can marry the barbarians and you will be the next king?"

"It's not just about the Alastor throne, we have to defeat the barbarians who have conspired with other kingdoms for the sake of the safety of the whole Beifang" Trevas replied.

"I can defeat them myself"

"You can't defeat them alone, and this is your first time going to war so it's better if you step back first and let's plan carefully" said Trevas.

"Too late" Alastor replied as Trevas and I looked behind us. I followed his gaze and there I saw not far away the simultaneous march of barbarians.

They wore clothes made of animal skin and helmets made of hard steel but I frowned sharply that there were not as many barbarians as I expected and they also did not include foreigners as said. by Sergeant min yesterday.

I turned my gaze back to Alastor when I heard him laugh.

"See? Why should I be afraid of those?" Alastor asked before turning the unicorn he was riding and facing his 7,000 men.

"Today, we will fight! And we will win! We will get the honor as the protector of the kingdom and I will get the throne and each of you will receive the award!" Alastor shouted and at the same time his men shouted.

Alastor looked in our direction again before firing his right fist and smiling at us.

"FOR BEIFANG!" Alastor shouted before running the unicorn he was riding and thousands of his men followed him.

I grabbed Trevas by the arm and immediately teleported as we were about to be run over by Alastor’s unicorn. We have returned to our place earlier next to lieutenants Jared and Lina but I can see from here the event on their side Alastor.

To be continued..
