"Kyle, slow down, Kyle," Brain said when I rushed into the house and when I walked past him without stopping or responding to him.

"Kyle... Kyle..." Brian called still walking fast behind me, but I chose to ignore him because I think I have a clue on what he is going to say to me and I do not want to hear it, I just need to talk to dad right now.

"Kyle..." Mum called, sounding and looking surprised to see me, but I ignored her as well and Brain who walked in too, right after I badged into Dad's room.

"Why did you do it, Dad?" I asked furiously furrowing my brows at dad who just stared at me without saying anything even after Mum called my name and Brain walked right in, I saw the way Dad stared at Brian too before turning to look at me again, almost like he is not pleased with him.

"I asked you a question, Dad, why did you order the police officers to release Sonia?" I asked Dad again still furiously.

"And who permitted you to get her arrested?" Dad suddenly snapped, "who gave the orders, tell me, Kyle?" Dad asked again almost immediately in his deep voice and glaring at me too.

"Who gave the orders?" I snapped...

"Kyle, stop this now, you heard what the doctor said earlier concerning your dad's health condition, I do not want this to cause any harm to him, please..." Mum said almost pleadingly to me, but I do not want to pay attention to her.

"Did you not hear him?" Did you not hear what he just said, mum? Do not tell me that you are in support of this," I snapped turning to face mum.

"Do not tell me that you did not inform dad of what Sonia did, Did you not tell him, Mum?" I asked mum again furiously glaring at her too as I feel the pain of all that has happened and the state in which I saw Kimberly in the hospital rushing through me.

"Sonia shot Kimberly dad," I said turning to dad again, I needed to tell him just in case no one informed him about it which I know of course that they did because if they did not inform him, he would not have ordered for her release the way he did.

"Sonia shot Kimberly Dad," I said again feeling my heart tearing apart as I recalled the incident and blood that came out of her body.

"And so what, Kyle, is that the reason for you to go and get her arrested without first confirming with me," Dad said sound so cold-hearted.

"What did you say?" I asked unable to believe what I just heard.

"Kyle, that is enough, you do not have to talk about this now and not like this?" Brian said coming to take my hand.

"Let go of me, Brian," I said immediately pushing his arm away from me.

"So shooting Kimberly is not enough reason to get Sonia arrested, Dad, is that it?" I asked again turning to face dad, feeling my heart shattering into pieces.

"Kyle..." Mum called.

"No, Mum," I said furiously lifting my hand to stop mum from talking.

"She almost killed her Dad?" I said again turning to face dad.

"You said it, Kyle, she almost died but she is not dead, is she?" Dad asked me in that same deep voice and glared at me.

"Stop it, Dad, that is enough already, you do not have to make matters worse," I said to Dad almost pleadingly.

"Shut up, Brian, who are you to talk to me in that manner, besides you were supposed to keep Kyle from coming in here," Dad shouted at Brian.

"I am your son, Dad, that is who I am, and tell me, how am I supposed to keep an angry man away from seeing you, dad?" Brian asked him sounding furious this time.

"So Kimberly being shot is not enough for Sonia to be arrested? Tell me, would you have permitted her arrest if Kimberly had died?" I asked Dad, getting back to the matter at hand.

"Would you have allowed Sonia to be arrested if Kimberly had died?" I asked again furiously when he did not respond.

"That is enough, Kyle, I do not want to talk about this anymore," Dad said relaxing his back on his bed where he was seated when I badged in.

"Excuse me?" I asked wondering if he would have acted this way if I was the one that got shot by Sonia, as I also recalled what Sonia said about my dad trading his sons for his reputation.

"Would you have acted this way if I was the one who Sonia shot instead of Kimberly?" I asked because I desperately want to find this out for myself.

"I said enough, Kyle, I do not want to talk bout this anymore," Dad said this time raising his voice at me.

"No, Dad, this can never be enough like this," I retorted, ignoring Mum's pleading eyes for me to stop, wondering why she is supporting this too.

"This cannot be enough dad and do you know why, that is because Sonia threatened that she is not going to rest until she has killed Kimberly and has destroyed my family," I said.

"What did you say, Kyle?" Mum asked this time sounding as if she did not believe me.

"You heard me, Mum, Sonia did say that to me, that woman has gone crazy, she is out of her mind Mum," I said in response to Mum's question even though my eyes were on Dad who just lay back on his bed staring at me.

"And who drove her crazy? Who was the one responsible for her crazy attitude?" Dad suddenly asked again.

"I do not understand you, Dad, are you supporting Sonia or me, tell me, Dad who are you siding with, me or Sonia?" I asked furiously again wondering why he is acting like this.

"I cannot let this incident ruin my relationship with Sonia's dad, alright," dad said and continues, "It is enough that I called off the wedding between you too, but having her arrested is something else, that is what I cannot afford to do," Dad added rather calmly this time.

"What are you talking about dad?" I asked, "what relationship are you talking about?" I asked again.

"My relationship with Sonia's dad, Kyle, besides have you asked yourself what the reason for her action is?" Dad asked me.

"What?" I asked surprised again that dad is defending her action.

"Yes, you heard me, Kyle, have you ever stopped to think why she acted the way she did?" Dad asked again and continued, "you know what, I gave it a thought, who knows, if Sonia said what you have recorded as a result of the treatment she has received from you and the fact that you had kids with another woman, do you not agree, Kyle?" Dad added.

"No, Dad, I do not agree," I replied him immediately, I think that has lost it too, that could only explain why he is supporting and trying to defend Sonia's action.

"Do you not hear the thing I just said, Dad? I said that Sonia has threatened to kill Kimberly and that she is not going to stop until she achieved that, even the lives of my kids are on the line here," I said to him again.

"She is only saying that because she is angry at the moment, and she also may have shot Kimberly out of anger, she may not have meant to do that, I mean, her wedding with you was called off, and all because of that woman," Dad said to me this time and I think this is the point where I give up...
