"Why have you come back here?" Vicky asked as we walked into Kimberly's ward.

"Is there a problem Doctor?" Jimmy asked instead as he and Vicky stood up from the chair they were seated in when we came in.

"No, there is no problem, Mr Jimmy, just that Mr Kyle here came by to place a security man on guard for Miss Kimberly.

"Why is that?" Vicky asked and continued because I gave her no reply, "have you not arrested Sonia yet?" She asked again staring at me.

"Please not here, Miss, Vicky," Doctor Sam told her gesturing towards Kimberly who is lying on the bed, she glared at me and then kept quiet.

"I stared at the tubes connected to Kimberly's body and how she lay still on the bed, I cannot believe that this is the same lady who was lively a few hours ago, I walked closer to her and gazing into her face, I see how pale her face is anger began to swell again inside of me, and worse of all Sonia is out there free for what she has done to her.

"This is the security man, Mr Kyle brought to watch over Miss Kimberly," I heard Doctor Sam say to Jimmy and Vicky, "he will be outside the ward Alright, and please do not allow any nurse or Doctor come in here to attend to Kimberly because I will be the one attending and checking on her, is that clear?" Doctor Sam told them again, I am glad he took the decision to attend to Kimberly all by himself at least that way, I know that no one will try anything on her in the pretence of a doctor or a nurse, since we do not know who it is walking for Sonia.

"And please the both of you should not leave her alone at the same time, alright?" Doctor Sam added.

"Okay, Doc," Jimmy replied.

"Here is my number on this card, I will try and have my phone with me at all times for the time being, so that you can call me whenever you feel she needs me alright, this is just in case because I will be checking on her regularly," Doctor added giving a card to Jimmy.

"Thanks, Doc," Jimmy said to Doctor Sam again.

"You're welcome," Doctor Sam replied.

"Make sure to put her shooter behind Bars," Vicky said to me viciously on my way out of the ward with Doctor Sam, I just paused and glanced at her and Jimmy before leaving the ward.

"Make sure that no harm comes to Kimberly, because if anything bad happens to her, I will make sure to put you in a place no one will be able to find you for the rest of your life," I told the security man outside the Security man I have put in charge of Kimberly outside her ward, venting my frustration on him, even though I know that he is the wrong person to vent my frustration on.

"Get a hold of yourself, Kyle," Doctor Sam said pulling me away from the security man.

"I am sorry that this is happening to you, Kyle, but you need to get a hold of yourself," Doctor Sam added.

"You do not understand, Doctor Sam, Sonia threatened to make sure she accomplishes her aim of getting Kimberly killed, she told me after being released by the police officers," I told Doctor Sam almost tearfully.

"You mean she told you that?" Doctor Sam asked peering at me.

"Yes, Doctor Sam, and not only that, she said that she would make sure that I am not happy because I did not marry her, how can my dad allow such a woman to be free? That means if I was the one-shot, my Dad would still let her be free as she is, look, Doctor Sam, after speaking to Sonia today, I realised one thing," I told Doctor Sam staring into his face, filled with anger inside of me.

"Which is?" He asked staring back at me.

"that Sonia will not rest until she has succeeded in taking the lives of my family, I consider Kimberly and our kids my family, and dad will not do anything about it if that happens," I told Doctor Sam.

"Can you make me understand, I mean give me the details of everything that has happened so far and the things Sonia has said to you,"

"Alright, Doctor Sam," I replied and quickly narrated everything that has happened so far that led us here and the threats that Sonia has made.

"I swear Doctor Sam, as it is now, if I see Sonia anywhere near family, I will not hesitate to kill her myself and make sure to bury her remains in such a way that no one will ever find her," I added furiously after my narration.

"There is no need to get your hands dirty by killing Sonia yourself and hiding the remains away, that is not you, it is not who you are, do not worry, Kyle, I think I have an idea of what we need to do," Doctor Sam said to me.

"Okay?" I asked peering at him so that he can tell me what his idea is.

"Look, Kyle, I am going to give you the contact of a police man..."

"A policeman, is that it?" I asked angrily, "I just told you that that police force is walking for both Sonia and my Dad, that explains the immediate release and arrogance of Sonia, I do not trust these police officers anymore..." I said interrupting Doctor Sam's speech.

"Calm down and hear me out first, Kyle," Doctor Sam said while I just stared at him furiously like he were my problem.

"Not all police officers are corrupt, not all of them can be bought as well, that is why I have come up with this plan, and trust me it is going to work, but before I connect you to this police Officer and tell you the plan, I will first like you to go and find out from your dad why he has to let Sonia go, for what we know, he too may have a plan." Doctor Sam told me.

"I am not sure my dad has a plan whatsoever, Doctor Sam, he is only protecting his image and so-called reputation," I told Doctor Sam in return.

"You still need to talk to him so that we can be sure before initiating any plan," Doctor Sam said to me again.

"Excuse me, Doctor Sam, you are needed at the ICU immediately," a nurse who rushed towards us said to Doctor Sam.

"Alright nurse," he replied to the nurse.

"You go ahead, Kyle and tell me the outcome later, and please do not so much about Miss Kimberly, I think everything is under control here," Doctor Sam said and with that, he left with the nurse that came to fetch him.

I blew a sigh of relief at least for hearing that Kimberly's situation is under control, as I do trust Doctor Sam's judgement, now it is time to go and find out from Dad why he had Sonia released even before she was properly arrested...
