Chapter 64: Chapter 64

"Ethan, she's coming..." I beseeched to stop him from what he was doing. The excitement gushed down, and it was replaced by anxiety.

Ethan didn't say anything as he continued to finger me. He wiggled his fingers inside my walls, stretching and hitting my spot. I looked at the door, anticipating for Charm to come back. However, I heard her talking with her grandad outside the house, discussing something I couldn't depict since my mind wandered elsewhere.

"Cum for me," Ethan whispered, devouring my lips. His eyes were shut, and his eyebrows were furrowed into a straight line while his fingers were busy doing his job. I fell for his trap, getting frailer by the second.

The door creaked open, and someone was going inside! I felt Ethan's finger getting faster while his thumb massaged my clit. I squirt, restrained my moans, and hit the clouds after seconds. My eyes rolled at the back of my head when I orgasmed. Ethan quickly cleaned his fingers by licking my juices off. At the same time, the door opened, and Charm stormed inside.

"It's time to eat, Ethan," she announced happily, but she stopped herself when she saw Ethan was licking his fingers. I lowered my head, playing with my fingers. Good thing Ethan was quick to put everything the way it was before. However, I couldn't let Charm see my cheeks blushing furiously.

"Am I troubling you with something?" Charm asked, her voice toned down. I don't know if she notices something, but I hope she's thinking something else.

Ethan didn't say anything. However, he suddenly stood up and dusted off the dirt from his shirt. Ethan composed himself without looking in Charm's way. His hair was covering his eyes, so I couldn't see where he was looking at. Nevertheless, I glanced down from his crotch for no apparent reason, and I choked when I saw it.

"Do you mind where's the bathroom?" Ethan asked, then gave Charm a sideways glance from his shoulder.

Charm looked clueless while looking back and forth between my face and Ethan's.

"It's in the backdoor. Do you want me to-"

"Thank you," Ethan muttered, then walked passed her side. He didn't even let her finish her sentence. He didn't shoot her another look. Ethan went straight to the backdoor and then reached outside, leaving us two behind. I have an idea of what he will do, but I don't want to detail it.

A long clamorous stillness encompassed the two of us. I couldn't look Charm straight in the eyes, not after what earlier. I feel like I did something against their judgment, and we took it for granted. I heard footsteps coming my way, so I took a peek. She was crossing the space between us. She stopped in front of me.

I didn't look up at her as I lingered for her to say something. I can feel the maladroit atmosphere. Charm coughed, then offered her hand to me. When I gazed at her eyes, I felt like an angel. Is this even legal to look at someone this preprocessing? She could be out there, be a model, flaunting her goddess features, being an actress. She can be anything she wants cause we live in a beauty privilege system. She can get whatever she wants in a snap of her fingers.

But why did she stay here in the woods? Along with her grumpy old granddad.

"We haven't adequately introduced each other, but I am Charmaine, short for Charm. Nice to meet you, Natasha." she casually introduced herself to me, as if it's not a big deal to meet new people around in this area. I squinted my eyes, watching her closely. Her voice expressed amiably. I shouldn't think anything about her poorly, but my trust issues are waving again.

"I was the one who actually helped you stiched your back and removed the bullet, as I am a nurse before," she explained, then she sat down beside me, scooping closer. She looked over my shoulder, eyeing the dish Ethan helped me eat.

"I was the one who cooked it for you. Did you like it?" Charm asked nicely. I didn't say anything as I was bewildered to be this close to her. I feel threatened by her beauty. It's something I feel like it only exists in shows and books, not in real life.

I composed myself and then looked at the backdoor, waiting for Ethan to return. I just hope Charm wouldn't notice how uncomfortable I am with her. Is that a bad thing?

"I am not going to do anything against you, Natasha. You are welcome here. I know what happened out there, my grandad told me."

She must be talking about the incident last night, where his grandad had caught us being chased by the police. I gulped the lump in my throat, and suddenly the passageway of air in my lungs tightened. I smiled at her, hiding the mask. She shouldn't know about Ethan's identity.

"You were being chased. If it's okay to ask why?" Charm lowered her voice, afraid that someone would actually hear us. I eyed her from her shoulders, honestly curious why is she acting like this. It's not that something was wrong to ask. I can't explain it distinctly, but my conscience tells me something.

"I-" I opened my mouth, but I got distracted when the door opened from the back, and Ethan walked into the scene. I felt Charm beside me locomote from her seat. I glanced just to see her blushing furiously. My eyebrows creased in astonishment, wondering why her countenance was like that.

"What are you two talking about?" Ethan put his hand inside his pockets and then stopped in front of us. His eyes were gleaming when his attention fixated on my spot. I noticed passion in his eyes. I know that look, and he was craving it. I didn't know if Charm saw it because she coughed, causing me to break contact with Ethan.

"It's almost time for lunch. My grandad caught a fish, and he's marinating it outside," she announced, and Ethan nodded.

"I'll just be going to carry her-"

"You don't have to." Charm restrained him by putting her hand above his biceps. Ethan looked at her. His eyes fluttered.

"Why?"

"Because she already ate. You have been serving her, and I noticed you haven't slept yet." her voice laced with concern as she tried to yank Ethan away from me. Ethan almost lost his balance but luckily caught himself before Charm could capture her in her arms.

"I can eat with you again. It's not much of a big deal to walk." I muttered, which caused them to both look at me.

"Really? My grandad said you had tribulations to get up from the bed. It's okay, Natasha. You can rest here, and we'll get back to you once Ethan is done eating. We'll take care of him." Charm smiled as if it would heal the world's problems. I wanted to protest, but I saw how tired his eyes were when I looked at Ethan's expression. He was just fighting it back just to look out for me.

"You can go and eat with them." I smiled, telling him it was okay. Ethan was confused, shaking his head slightly, not wanting to leave me alone in this cabin while they were eating outside. It's not that big deal because I can handle myself here alone. I used to live in an apartment by myself.

"I can't leave you here alone." Ethan strongly disagreed. He was about to take a step forward when Charm blocked his way. She bent her body, causing Ethan to step back while watching Charm caress my head soothingly.

"Don't worry about her. Natasha will be fine here. I know it's hard to trust us, but think of it this way." Charm stood up straight and then looked at Ethan behind her. I don't know her expression, but I noticed the sudden change in Ethan's eye movement. It was quick because it went back to normal, but I saw it. It changed into his wolf eyes. I just hoped Charm didn't catch it.

"We also don't know you guys. Much worst, you were being chased by the authorities. You must have done something terrible, but my grandad chose to let you stay here in our cabin." she exclaimed, then turned her back on us. We were left alone again in the room. This time Ethan was standing in the middle, clenching his hands.

"Ethan-"

"She's right." before I could finish, he cut me. He lifted his face, catching my eyes for a moment. His expression softens as he stroke my cheeks. He gradually lowered his face until his lips landed softly on my forehead.

"We owe them, Natasha. I'm sorry if I always brought you up in this mess. I'm always the cause of our problems." he muttered. His voice broke, but I hushed him.

"It's okay, Ethan. I know what I have thrown you before, but please forget about them. It's not your fault. I chose to stay with you. I chose to be here fighting with you no matter what it takes. Even if it costs my freedom, choice, everything that I have if the cost is you."

Ethan was speechless. The desire in his eyes intensified when his attention landed on my lips. He grunted something under his breath, but it wasn't enough for me to hear what it was. He kissed my nose and lips, then nibbled on them before letting go.

"I'll be right back," he said, then stormed out.

I sighed and then waited patiently for him to come back. I don't know how many seconds or minutes that turned into hours. I was waiting until I didn't realize I jolted up when a loud commotion echoed.
