Aurora was busy munching on her pickles with a relieved expression. Alpha Jax couldn't stop staring at her. It took her less than ten minutes to finish all the pickles her mother made for her. She was still hungry. She rubbed her stomach again as she looked at her mother with hungry eyes.

Aurora's mother sighed and brought out the other bowl but there was roasted pork and a bowl of soup. Aurora's eyes lit up when she saw the food.

"Mother, you know I love you the most, right?", Aurora said as she kissed her mother's cheek before grabbing the food. She started munching on the food without looking at anyone again.

"Jax, why don't you allow Aurora to come live with me for a few days so she can regain her health faster?", Aurora's mother asked.

"Mother, don't worry. I promise to take good care of her. If you are so worried, you can come over to the mansion. It's bigger and more comfortable. I will arrange a guest room for you and Maya", Alpha Jax replied

Alpha Jax's face became cloudy. This stupid girl! Just because of food she loves someone else other than himself. Now, her mother thinks he can't cater for her.

"That person is her mother, Jax. She is just concerned as a mother", Ares reminded him.

"Even though she is her mother, her love is supposed to be mine only and she has no right to take her away from him", he brooded in his mind.

Alpha Jax made it his first priority to learn how to cook. He would learn how to cook everything Aurora likes. Her love can only belong to him, not even her mother should fight for it.

Aurora's mother seems to notice the change in the brooding Alpha. She smiled and shook her head.

This man must be terribly jealous but she's happy. At Least her daughter had found the right man for herself.

"Okay, sweetheart. I need to go back. It's getting late and Maya is still at your Aunt Clara's place. I need to pick her up. But don't worry, we will be back by tomorrow morning. Jax, I will let you know if I will be moving in to take care of her.", Aurora's mother said as she stood up ready to leave.

"Mother, you can just go straight to the mansion. I will be discharging her home in the morning. Enrique will drop you off", Alpha Jax said.

"Oh…that's great. Then I will go straight to the mansion tomorrow. And…there's no need to bother Enrique. The guards could still drop me off at Clara's house", Aurora's mother said.

"Mother, can you make some pickles and pork ribs for me when you come tomorrow? I really enjoyed it", Aurora asked.

"Okay Aurora, I will surely make a sumptuous meal for you tomorrow. See you tomorrow sweetheart, good night", her mother kissed her and left.

Gamma Enrique who was sitting on the couch decided to leave the room for the couple.

"Alpha, I need to go and get something for us to eat. You haven't eaten since", Gamma Enrique said as he stood up to leave. That was just an excuse for him to leave them alone. And he also had the feeling that the old man would be here soon.

"Okay, Enrique. Thanks for the patience and understanding", Alpha Jax was grateful. Gamma Enrique bowed and left the ward.

Aurora looked at the man who was looking tired. She pitied him because he just returned from a mission and he couldn't even rest before she caused all these ruckus. She knew he needed to rest. He had been stressed by her for the past few hours.

Aurora looked down at her stomach. Though it was flat, she could feel an additional life within her. She felt fulfilled. She felt a hand touching her flat stomach.

"Baby, this is daddy. Please don't stress your mother too much. You know your daddy would be busy and can't spend all the time with you and your mom. So I want you to be well behaved so your mom won't be stressed, okay?", Alpha Jax said as he continued patting Aurora's stomach.

"Jax, it's just four weeks. The baby can't hear or understand you", Aurora said laughing.

"Who says the baby can't hear or understand? Experts on pregnancies say if parents talk to their unborn child in the womb, they are likely to form an inseparable bond with them", he replied smugly.

"Really? Tell me which expert", Aurora said with raised brow.

"You are a Killjoy, you know. I just want to bond with my children", Alpha Jax replied with a broad smile.

"Hahaha! Hey, what children? It's a child not children Jax", Aurora corrected amidst laughter.

"How do you know it's not children? It might be. I am just saying what I feel"

"Did an expert also tell you that?", Aurora teased.

"Do you want to know what else the expert told me to do to a teasing pregnant woman?", Alpha Jax said as he came closer and whispered into her ears.

"Hey! Get off me! I don't want to hear"

"But I want to tell you. In fact, I just don't want to tell you but I also want to show you like this", Alpha Jax said as he leaned forward to plant a kiss on her lips.

He had been wanting to do it since he stepped into the ward.

Well, at first, he just wanted to tease her with the kiss but he couldn't take his mouth away from hers. He munched on her luscious lips as he sucked and licked it. He just can't get enough of those lips.

He kissed her as he grabbed her hair, Aurora who had been caught off guard wanted to resist but as he munched on her lips she couldn't help but reciprocate. She held his hair and drew him closer to her. The ward was getting hotter.

But before they could take it further, the door of the ward was suddenly pushed open without warning. Alpha Jax who was so angry wanted to scold the person but he was tongue tied when he saw the intruder.

"Uncle Max…", Alpha Jax whispered. It felt like he just had a serious migraine. What is his Uncle doing here? At this time of the night?

Uncle Max got out of the car with the help of Butler Kent. The old man looked around the big hospital in search of someone. His eyes caught a well built man sitting on a bench at the emergency wing of the hospital.

"Enrique, where is that brat?", Uncle Max shouted. The hospital corridor was filled with his voice. Everyone was looking at the old man. He seems oddly familiar.

Gamma Enrique had no time to feel embarrassed as he immediately ran to the old man and bowed deeply.

"Uncle, the Alpha is in a private ward with Miss Aurora", he replied hastily.

"Miss Aurora? That brat hasn't introduced her yet? And she is carrying his child? What a brat! I will definitely teach him a lesson", Uncle Max thundered.

"Uncle, Please take it easy with him. He actually wanted to do it immediately when he came back from his mission earlier today but it just happened that she was rushed here instead", Gamma Enrique tried to defend Alpha Jax.

"Are you defending that brat? Show me his ward before I smack your head to pieces", Uncle Max threatened.

"Uncle…er…I mean why don't I announce your presence to him so…."

Gamma Enrique quickly shut his mouth when he received a glare from the old man. He just hope the alpha isn't doing anything smoochy.

He led Uncle Max towards the ward where the couple were staying. Before he could knock on the door, Uncle Max burst the door open. His eyes caught Alpha Jax quickly adjusting. Bursted!

Gamma Enrique knew he was in trouble. He swiftly turned around and left the room to avoid Alpha Jax scolding.

"Uncle Max…?

"You brat! How dare you hide away from me all these days? I even have to hear the Royal howl to know that I am expecting a grandchild", Uncle Max was fuming as he walked closer to Alpha Jax and knocked his head.

"Uncle, I also don't know till she fainted this evening when I came back from my mission. It's really not my fault", Alpha Jax said, rubbing his head. This man might be old but he is definitely very strong.

"Not your fault? I will be taking her to the family house with me first thing in the morning. You know the rules. You have to face the punishment", Uncle Max said.

"Uncle! Why do you want her to go there? I told you it's not my fault", Alpha Jax was frustrated.

Yeah, he knew the family tradition but he just can't control himself around her. He never thought she would get pregnant quickly.

He had promised to take her to his Uncle as soon as he came back from his mission but he never expected this. And now, this old man wants to take Aurora away.

Why is everyone trying to take Aurora from him.
