Aurora gathered herself together and walked back to the room like a lifeless corpse. She couldn't believe she had been under the same roof with her father's killer for almost two days.

Her mind drifted back to that fateful night. The night she had that nightmare. She never has believed the nightmare would come to pass.

They were in the dining area eating their dinner when the gate was shot open by hefty men who put on the same pattern of suit. The suit was encrusted with a moon as red as blood with a drop of gold. She took notice of it because it was eye-catching.

The men grabbed her father who pleaded for them to let him go. They didn't listen to his plea as one of the men shot him on his legs first. Aurora could hear her father's piercing cry.

"Father!...", Aurora shouted as her father fell to the ground.

Now she knew it wasn't just an ordinary gun that was shot on his leg but it must be something mixed with silver bane. Her father used to tell her that the only thing capable of doing great damage to a werewolf is something called a wolfbane. It's mixed with silver crusts.

They let her father wail in agony. She and her mother were held down tightly by the men. Aurora covered her eyes with her hands so she wouldn't see their father in pain.

The men shot him again, this time, he was shot on both hands. The hands began to bleed…and it was tearing apart just like the legs.

"Why don't you just kill me? Don't let my wife and daughter be traumatized", her father pleaded.

"You should have thought about that earlier before making the boss furious. You caused this yourself but I will grant your wish", one of the men said as he shot her dad on the chest.

"Robert…", her mother screamed as she suddenly looked pale and older.

Her mother slumped to the ground and fainted. She had to hold herself together to hold her mother. unfortunately she couldn't hold the pain in again as she let out a piercing scream.

Her father had rushed into her room to hold her down and ask why she was screaming. On seeing her father, Aurora hugged him tightly, weeping and wailing as if he was going to disappear.

He begged her to calm down and tell her what happened and when she finally did, he consoled and assured her that it was just a mere dream. He told her not to worry about him, he wasn't going to die.

Aurora didn't believe, the dream was so very real that she couldn't help but shiver at every minute. After three days of sticking to her father's side in fear of him being killed, Aurora finally forgot about the dream.

Just like her father said, it was just a mere dream and he wasn't going to die. Not until after two weeks when she returned back to the house with her mother to see her father laying on the floor in his own pool of blood.

A written paper with the same logo of the same people in her dream on his chest.

Remembering the dream and how her father made her believe it was nothing got her heart shattered. She should have stayed by his side, she shouldn't have taken the dream less serious. It was a revelation she didn't take serious. She blamed herself for his death and swore to fish out the killers of her father.

Her mother had already fainted on seeing the horrible sight of her husband. Out of shock, she slumped on her mate's body. Aurora cried out her heart and when she could no longer control herself, she also fainted.

When she woke up in the hospital, it all dawned on her. It wasn't a dream this time around and her father was really gone.

The police were investigating. Mrs Avery was comforting her body. Aurora could never forget the agony on her mother's face.

As she remembered that night, tears started flowing again. How can her mate be her father's killer? She had searched all over the place for that emblem. She knew she must come across it one day but definitely not in her mate's house.

Now that she thought about it, while she went to meet Craig, she saw that the uniform of the guard looked familiar. So it was them. That was the same uniform they came with in her dream.

After crying for several hours, she sat down to think about how she was going to avenge her father. It's going to be hard to kill Alpha Jax without being caught. She wondered what she would do.

Father, I will surely avenge you" she muttered heartbroken. Picking up her self from the floor, she slowly left the room and headed back to hers.

Alpha Jax felt a little uneasy but he brushed it off. He sat down at the resting spot close to the training ground. He must be very tired and sleepy. He barely slept last night. He kept rolling and thinking about Aurora.

He was thinking about her smile and laughter before she left in the morning. It hurt him so much and his anger rose up several times. The girls that were brought to entertain him were so angry that they fled. He just doesn't understand Aurora's influence in his life. He can't seem to want another woman except her.

He doesn't like that idea of sticking to one woman but with her mate, he could help but want to stick to her. His body and so, he wants to give to her.

He needs to have her before he goes crazy. He couldn't bear the feeling of arousal her body brings to him everything he's around her. He had to fight it and control himself before he pounces on her.

"Alpha, everything is done", Beta Rufus said bringing him out of his reverie.

"Good. Get the car ready, I want to go and visit Jasmine. Have you investigated her family? I don't want innocent people to suffer along", Alpha Jax said.

"Yes, I have. The file is amongst the ones on the desk"

"Get me the file and a bottle of strong wine"

"Yes, Alpha", Beta Rufus nodded as he left swiftly.

Beta Rufus came back with the wine and file in his hands. Alpha Jax took the file and scanned through it while his beta poured him the drink.

"Rufus, according to the information they are made up of four persons in the family. I thought her mother was late?", Alpha Jax said.

"She is not dead. She left Jasmine's father after the birth of Jasmine. The father literally took care of her. The older sister came to live with them when she turned sixteen when their mother remarried. The father favors Jasmine over the older sister", Beta Rufus asked.

"Is the sister aware of Jasmine's plan all along?", Alpha Jax asked.

"She doesn't support Jasmine's decision but from all indications and from Jasmine's confession, her father had been the one encouraging her. He advised her to kill your mate", Beta Rufus explained.

"Have you arrested the father?", He asked.

"Not yet. We were waiting for your permission"

"Get the guards to arrest him now and place him in the same type of cell as Jasmine. I want them to have a taste of their own medicine", Alpha Jax said as he sips his drink slowly", You can leave the sister. She is innocent".

"Got it, Alpha. I will call them right away", Beta Rufus said standing up.

"Another important thing Alpha, is that Jasmine's mate was kidnapped and locked up by her father since the year you met her. They were planning to kill him immediately when you marry her", Beta Rufus said.

"They planned to neutralize the mate bond immediately you get married to her so that he wouldn't disturb your union" Beta Rufus added.

"Release him and send him to Jasmine. Support whatever decision he decides to make", Alpha Jax said.

"Yes, Alpha"

"Is the car ready? Let's go and visit Jasmine", Alpha Jax said getting up. He needs to know how she had been faring.

Beta Rufus quickly walked ahead of him to open the car door before getting in. They drove down to the warehouse.

When Alpha Jax and his beta got close to Jasmine's cell. They saw her culled up in a fetal position. It looks like she must be hurting badly. Alpha Jax had no pity on her. She deserved it.

It looks like she already sensed their presence as she slowly got off the ground with bloodshot eyes. She tried to stand up straight but the pains in her stomach wouldn't let her.

"Why don't you kill me already?", Jasmine asked as she looked at him with hatred.

"I will but…not so soon. You have to taste the feeling of suffering and pain", Alpha Jax responded.

"We have been together for years Jax, don't you have even a tiny bit of affection for me?"Jasmine asked, staring at him to see if she can see any emotions even if it's a tiny bit. But the next words from Alpha Jax shattered her heart into pieces.

"Never. It's a mutual consent between us", he replied calmly. You allowed yourself get carried away" he added.

Jasmine suddenly laughed like a maniac as she clutched her stomach. She can't believe she had been just like the other girls all along. She was nothing special to Alpha Jax. She was thrown away as soon as he found his mate.

"Alpha Jax! You are heartless!"She suddenly screamed as she tried to grab the Alpha's leg but she was mercilessly kicked away by Beta Rufus.

She stared at them with intense hatred. She wishes she could strangle him.

"I have always been like this, I never changed. You, Jasmine, were the one who changed. I have news for you. Your father would soon be joining you", he said as he looked down at her.

"Do I seem like I care? I don't give a damn if he comes or not! I don't fucking care! Both of you ruined my life! I should have just listened to my sister", she wailed loudly

"Unfortunately, your greediness didn't allow you. Least I forget, I found your mate already. He will also be visiting you soon", Alpha Jax said with an evil grin.

"You are a bastard Jax! You are a bastard!"

"And…I hope you are enjoying the tea?", Alpha Jax laughed lightly", I prepared a special tea for you. I want you to taste the same pain as my mate but yours would be worse."

"Tea? I knew something was in that tea. What did you put in?", Jasmine asked

"A tiny drop of wolfbane. To make it juicy, I hope you are enjoying it?", Alpha Jax said with a chuckle.

"You are a monster, Jax! You are a fucking monster! Just kill me already! Do you even have a conscience?", Jasmine was hysterical.

"You should have known. If had known then you wouldn't touch the tail of a lion. Watch as I deal with you, by the time I'm done with you and your father, you both would regret ever crossing paths with Alpha Jax", Alpha Jax said as he walked away without looking back.

Jasmine's cries were heard as she continuously lay curses on Alpha Jax and Aurora.

Even if I die, I would never forgive you Jax and that useless wolf of yours, she would suffer because she was the reason why you are treating me like a slave. She would suffer, I would make sure of that whether alive or dead!!!!" Jasmine yelled loudly, her voice choking along side her tears.

Alpha Jax looked energized seeing how Jasmine was suffering. She deserved it

His mind wandered off to Aurora. What would she be doing now? Is she missing him at all?

Alpha Jax chuckled. Who is he kidding? That girl hates him.
