Maya was very happy all through the time Aurora was staying with them. Aurora made sure she was happy because she knew she would be going back in the morning. She doesn't know when she will see her little sister again.

They slept together in her little sister's room hugging each other tightly. Aurora's mother came to the room and she teared up seeing her children sleeping like babies.

How time flies! Now Aurora will be leaving tomorrow. She doesn't even know when she was going to see her daughter again. She took the blankets and covered them before closing the door gently.

Aurora woke up very fresh and happy as she looked at Maya's cute face. She promised herself to always come and visit them till she finds a way to get out of this Pack. Away from that jerk.

She got up to freshen up and also got Maya ready for school. They will drop her off on their way back. She wondered if Beta Rufus was comfortable yesterday night.

All efforts to make him sleep in the guest room was in vain. He said he prefers to sleep in the couch. So her mother brought enough blankets and pillows for him.

Before they slept yesterday, they talked about many things. But Aurora refused to hear anything about Alpha Jax. She prefers to think he doesn't exist.

"Rora! Maya! Come down quickly, sweeties", she heard her mother's sweet voice.

"We are coming, mother", Aurora replied as she picked her sister up.

When they got to the sitting room, Beta Rufus was already seated at the dining table. Her mother was bringing in the meals.

"Good morning, Rufus", Aurora greeted sweetly.

"Good morning Miss Aurora", Beta Rufus answered.

"I told you to call me Aurora. I will be angry at you if you keep calling me miss", Aurora said.

"Okay Miss…I mean, Aurora", Beta Rufus said as he smiled. He then turned to Maya who was already pouting.

"Good morning little princess", he greeted Maya.

"Good morning Uncle Handsome", Maya greeted as she flashed her beautiful set of teeth. She looked happy again.

Aurora shook her head. Her sister was a sucker for handsome guys. She wondered if her sister would like Monster Alpha Jax if she saw him. She immediately shoved that thought aside.

They finished their meal and Aurora said goodbye to her mother promising to visit her soon. Sarah turned to Beta Rufus.

"Tell Alpha Jax to come do the needful soon or else I will come take my daughter away from him", she told the young man.

"I will definitely convey your message to him, ma", Beta Rufus assured before going to get the car ready. He drove the car to the front of the house.

Aurora entered the car with her sister. They were silent on the way till they stopped at the Pack's School gate. Aurora embraced her little sister and planted numerous kisses on her cheeks.

"Make sure to read your books, sweetheart. I will come visit you very soon", she said as she wiped her tears. Maya waved at her sister goodbye before running into the school compound

After dropping Maya there, Beta Rufus took her back to the mansion.

She was back to her open prison, Aurora thought to herself.

Alpha Jax was busy reading some documents that he was supposed to sign when there was a slight knock on his office door. The door was opened by Beta Rufus who was grinning.

"You are looking happy this morning. It seems you were treated very well last night", Alpha Jax said sarcastically.

"Yes, indeed. Aunty and Aurora are such good cooks. I ate until I was too full. Even the little angel is so adorable", Beta Rufus said with a laugh.

"Aurora? So you are on a first name basis now?", Alpha Jax asked, trying to press down on the anger boiling inside. That little brat is so open to his Beta but shuts him off and calls him all sorts of names.

"She insists I call her that…", Beta Rufus couldn't finish his statement before a loud bang was heard.

The office table was broken into two by Alpha Jax whose eyes looked furious. Beta Rufus swallowed hard. He had totally forgotten how scary this Alpha is when angry but what made him so angry?

Beta Rufus couldn't point to anything that happened just now except that he suddenly broke the table when he mentioned calling his mate by her name. Could it be….? Was he jealous?

He forgets how mates could be so jealous around their partners. So even Alpha Jax wasn't left out. He wanted to laugh but he knew better. He doesn't want to end up as an experiment.

Hehehe the Almighty Alpha Jax is jealous of him calling his mate by her name.

"Fix this office within thirty minutes. I will be at the training ground", Alpha Jax ordered before walking out of the office. The door closed behind him with another bang. He must be really furious, Beta Rufus thought.

Beta Rufus regretted waking up a sleeping lion. How would he get things done within thirty minutes?

Alpha Jax knew he shouldn't be jealous but he just can't help it. It's not like he doesn't trust his beta, he does. If there is any one he has ever trusted, that would be Rufus but he just can't stop his jealousy when he heard him calling his mate intimately.

He tried very hard to control himself yesterday morning when he saw them laughing towards them. He had never seen her smiling like that since the night he carried her home.

Yes, he was the one that ordered Rufus to cheer her up but he was so jealous when she was looking at his Beta and they were laughing together.

He just can't take it when her smile wasn't directed at him. The only time they don't quarrel was either he was kissing her or they were passionate. He couldn't believe he was restless yesterday over a woman. He drove all the girls that came up to him away. He doesn't feel good around them anymore.

But he wondered why she finds it hard to be happy around him? Is he that hard to love? Why does she hate him so much? Aren't mate supposed to be in love?

"She is your soulmate. She is just like you. She is stubborn and defiant…just like you", Ares replied.

"She is supposed to be obedient. She is supposed to be what I lack, not adding to what I already have. She's a woman", he said.

"Maybe she is…she just doesn't understand you yet. Be patient", Ares advised.

Alpha Jax shut his wolf out as he looked into space.

Aurora was so bored staying in the room all day so she decided to take a stroll around the mansion to familiarize herself. As she walked along the passage, she saw the servants around busy doing one thing or the other. They were extremely well coordinated and efficient. They worked silently but diligently.

They greeted her with respect without raising their heads. It seems it's forbidden for servants here not to look straight at their Masters faces. So old fashioned, she thought.

"Do you need any escort, Miss Aurora?", Butler James asked when he saw her walking around.

"No, Butler James. I am just trying to get busy. Am bored to death. Just don't mind me. Keep doing your work", she waved him off.

The Butler bowed and left.

Aurora kept roaming around the mansion until she got to a room with a transparent but solid window rail. The room was filled with different books and papers. Maybe she could get something to read in there, she thought as she pushed the door open.

When she got in she saw that it was a study room. She looked around to see if she could find any interesting books to read. She searched but the books there were just about leadership and many confidential files and documents.

As she was about to leave the room, her eyes got stuck on a particular document. It had a peculiar Logo.

She could never forget that logo. She had searched for a long time on whom the logo belonged to. She moved closer and on the document were words boldly written.

She was so shaken that she couldn't breathe for some time. She couldn't believe it was her father so she decided to open the file. She gathered her strength together and opened the front page.

At the beginning of the first page was a signature and a picture of Alpha Jax. The signature read; ORDERED BY ALPHA JAX, LEADER OF THE BLOOD MAFIAS.

At the upper right hand corner was a clear picture of her father.

She suddenly dropped to the ground in agony.

Alpha Jax killed her father….. She finally finds her father's killer and it happened to be her mate.

She was too broken to cry as memories of that night came rushing in like a tornado.
