Aurora's smiling face changed into that of disgust immediately they were inside their room.

She started picking some few things to take with her as she whistled. Alpha Jax came close to her and tried to kiss her but she pushed him away, looking disgusted.

"Are you that happy to be away from me, mate?", Alpha Jax asked as he tried to suppress his anger.

"Yes, and I would have been the happiest if you could just disappear from my life totally. I hate you. In Fact, you disgust me. I feel like throwing up anytime you touch me with those filthy hands of yours.

"Go and meet those women that satisfy you, especially that Jasmine. After all, she's your favorite slut and didn't you go back to her arms last night?", she spat out.

Alpha Jax could no longer control his anger as he grabbed her neck pinning her to the wall. This woman always has a way of getting him angry. He released her when he saw her struggling to breathe.

"Don't get me mad. I don't know how long I can hold my temper. Remember, I don't care if your mother is here or not. I will teach you a lesson you will never forget in a hurry. I don't care if you are my fucking mate or not", Alpha Jax said looking at her intensely.

"Do you think I am happy being your mate? What use is a womanizing mate? You are just a flirt! The biggest flirt and I don't need you in my life. Screw you!!!", Aurora replied with the same intense gaze.

Before Alpha Jax could say anything, there was a knock on the door.

"Alpha, the food is ready and the guests are already seated", Beta Rufus said.

"I am not through with you yet. We will trash this out when you are back and…don't ever think of escaping from me or else I would make everything and everyone connected to you so miserable", Alpha Jax threatened as he flung the door open angrily.

"Alpha…"

"Rufus, make sure she comes out looking happy, or else I will be glad to have your head", he said before storming out.

"Uh?", Beta Rufus was confused.

He peeped into the room and saw Aurora who was squatting on the floor crying. Her face was flooded with tears. What just happened with these two again? He thought they were just lovey-dovey not long ago.

Beta Rufus sighed and walked into the room. This girl's personality is just like that of his younger sister. Stubborn. Defiant.

But, he believes every woman needs love and care. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to her.

Aurora looked up and saw a gentle-looking man. She guessed he must be the Beta. But he looks more like a gentleman than that jerk.

"Sorry for the Alpha's behavior. He really doesn't know how to control his emotions. But, he is very loving. Just try and understand him", Beta Rufus said, trying to strike a conversation with Aurora.

"He doesn't know how to control his emotions, does that include his sexual escapades? Don't give excuses for that jerk", Aurora said as she accepted the handkerchief.

Beta Rufus looked taken aback. This girl here is very blunt. She is really a tigress. He laughed softly as he looked at this interesting mate of his Alpha.

"Well, I am not giving excuses for him but he really is a good man. Just give him a chance", he insisted.

"What about you? Aren't you a good man? Can I have you instead?", Aurora asked but when she looked at the man's face, he looked so horrified.

The face was so twisted that she couldn't help but burst out into laughter. Beta Rufus smiled back. He knew no one could resist laughing at his twisted face. He heaved a sigh of relief.

"Pardon me, your Royal Highness. I don't wish to die without knowing how I died. Am still in search of my mate", he added with a chuckle.

Aurora continued laughing cheerfully as Beta Rufus talked to her.

"I think your mother and Aunt must be starving. Can we go now, Miss Aurora?", Beta Rufus asked with a smile.

"Yes, we can. And you can just call me Aurora", she said as she rose from the floor.

Beta Rufus talked to her as they walked towards where they would be eating outside the courtyard. Due to the fresh air outside, they decided to have a table under the huge orange tree.

Aurora was a talkative and very cheerful person. She talked all the way down to where everyone was gathered including the Alpha who sat at the middle of the table.

Alpha Jax creased his brows when he saw how close Aurora was to his Beta. Why is she so happy around Rufus? But, she always looks at him in anger and disgust.

He was so angry that he balled his hands tightly. He hid his anger but he couldn't help glaring at Aurora.

"Have you ever seen our mate so happy? She is so gorgeous!", His wolf said in admiration.

"Shut up Ares, are you on my side or her side? Sometimes I wonder if you are my wolf", Alpha Jax said as he shut his wolf away.

He beckoned on Aurora to sit close to him. She walked meekly towards him and sat down obediently. Though surprised, he decided to keep calm.

The breakfast went smoothly and quickly. Aurora ate a bit fast so she could leave this place faster. She missed her sister so much.

"Jax, can Rufus give us a ride?", Aurora said, flashing a smile at him.

Boiling with anger but unable to show it, Alpha Jax nodded. Did she think he can't see through her? He knew she was only being sweet so he won't have anything to hold her back from going.

"Don't think I don't know your plan. But I want to see you back first thing tomorrow morning or I will come pick you up myself", Alpha Jax mind linked her.

"Do I even have the choice to say no? I am more like a captive", she retorted.

"I am glad you know that very well", he said.

Alpha Jax turned to his Beta and said", Rufus is going to drop you but he is going to stay to protect my mate. They would both be back first thing tomorrow morning, I hope mother doesn't mind? It's for security purposes".

"Of course not. I know because of your position, my daughter needs security. Thanks for your concern", Aurora's mother said gratefully.

Aurora knew what he was doing but kept quiet. Well, she doesn't have a problem as long as it is Rufus. He is quite an interesting person. He is just like Craig.

But apart from that, she decided to punish this mate of his by being closer to his Beta. Does she wonder what his reaction would be like?

She glanced at Alpha Jax and chuckled within herself.

Beta Rufus drove them first to the Pack's School to pick up Maya from school. The little girl was overjoyed to see her sister. She hugged her so tightly afraid that Aurora might disappear again.

Aurora tried hard to stop her tears. Instead, she kissed all over her little sister's cheek so much that it became wet from kisses and tears. Their mother just stood aside watching them. She was holding back her tears.

"Sweetheart, don't worry. I am going to stay with you tonight. We'll be together all night long. Come, let's go home", Aurora said as she held Maya's hand tightly.

"Sister Rora, what about that monster that took you away last night? Is he still going to take you away again?", Maya asked, looking worried. She doesn't want her sister to go again.

"Sweetheart, no monster took me away yesterday. I just got a new job in the Pack and I will be away for some time. But I will surely come back to the house whenever I am free", Aurora said to calm her sister.

"Sister Rora, don't lie to me. I know a monster took you yesterday", Maya insisted as she pouted.

"Maya, look at the car that wants to take us home", Aurora pointed at the car that brought them so she could distract Maya's mind.

Maya saw Beta Rufus standing by the car. She looked closely at the man. She widened her eyes as she seemed to recollect something

"Uncle handsome, you look familiar. Oh yes! I remember you. You are the Beta to the Alpha of this Pack. You are Beta Rufus Grande, right?"She asked, beaming with smiles.

"Yes, my princess. And I will be your chauffeur and personal guard today", Beta Rufus said as he squatted down to pinch her chubby cheek. The child looks so cute.

"Really? But my friends say you are always with the Alpha. Where is the Alpha? I heard he is very very handsome", Maya asked.

Aurora who heard Maya's words coughed loudly before holding her sister.

"Maya, I have told you several times that it's bad manners to talk about someone who you don't know. Come into the car, I am so hungry", Aurora said, pulling her into the car.

Beta Rufus opened the door for the sisters and their mother before he zoomed off to drop them at home.

Maya is surely an interesting little girl. He laughed when he remembered how Maya praised Alpha Jax not knowing she was praising the "monster" according to her.

He wonder what Alpha Jax would think about this cute little girl. Perhaps he would love her personality.
