Chapter 14: Chapter 14
She still couldn't believe a man with such amount in his wallet would be in a local slum.
What could he be doing in a place like that. He was also on a mask Making it obvious he wasn't an ordinary man.
Well whatever his reasons for coming to the slums was, I don't care. I'm grateful he came bacause if he didn't, then I wouldn't be this rich now" Aurora screamed out.
She was shocked to see such amount in his wallet because the highest she has picked in a person's wallet was two thousand dollars and that was in the city and not in the slum.
"Twenty fvcking thousand dollars" she screamed again for the umpteenth time, still in disbelief.
"I wonder how Craig would react if I should disclose this information to him" Aurora muttered with a smirk thinking on how to break the news to her friend.
He might probably run mad screaming on how dangerous it was but still shutting his mouth up and enjoy as much as he could.
She was about counting the money again for the hundredth time when a little knock sounded on her door.
She quickly pushed the money into her boobs and arranged her clothes then laid on the bed.
"Who's there" she called out in a pretentious weak tone. The door opened and Maya sauntered in, holding a piece of pizza in her hands.
"Sis Rora" she called out in her tiny voice, Aurora smiled and drew her to herself, pecking her cheeks.
She loves her little sister so much, she looked exactly like their father and because of that, Aurora does not joke or play with anything that concerns her, coupled with the fact of her being an adorable cutie pie.
"Hey pumpkin, how was school today" Aurora asked, brushing back Maya's hair with my hands.
Her hair was very smooth and silky, one of the features one would kill to have.
Aurora's own was smooth too and shiny but it wasn't so silky as Maya's.
"School was fine sis, I'm beginning to make friends and I get to play with them now" she said grinning widely.
"Oh really? That's good. I hope you enjoy having friends around you and no longer lonely?" Rora asked and she nodded.
"Yes, all thanks to Kelvin and Miss Deb, they both made my classmates realize it wasn't my fault that I started school late and ever since then, they usually come to play with me which chokes me atimes but I'm enjoying it" Maya grinned.
"Good to know that you've made friends and you can now play, have you had your lunch?" Aurora asked and Maya shook her head.
"Alright, go meet mama, I'll go get us food" Maya nodded and ran out of the room.
Immediately Maya shut the door, Aurora sprang up and quickly climb the stool to hide the money in her piggy.
Taking out some few notes, she emptied the remaining into the piggy then left to get food for the house.
Mum I'll be back soon, I'm going to get food" Aurora stopped at her mother's shade to tell her.
Rebecca's eye shot up when she heard Aurora talking about getting food for the family.
First of all, she came from work happy and said she quit her job now she's going to get food when it was obvious she was wasn't paid since she only worked for a week and two days in the wine bar.
Rebecca opened her mouth the talk but Aurora hugged her and ran out towards the road.
Rebecca sighed and continued with her sampling, she would find out what was going on with her daughter because She's not going to ever believe Aurora Wasn't hiding something.

Aurora headed to Craig's workplace to break the goodnews to him and also take him along with her for a shopping spree.
She got to the coffee shop where Craig works and only few people were there, Craig was almost rounding up so Aurora decided to wait for him to finish up.
"You're blabbing Rora! I don't believe your shits" Craig muttered when Aurora told him what happened earlier in the day.
"Oh really, you think I'm blabbing? Aurora smirked then brought out the money in her bag, on showing it to Craig, he nearly slumped down out of disbelief.
How could that be possible? Why would someone be in a wine bar shop in the slums and holding such an amount of money in his wallet?" Craig couldn't help but wonder.
Craig stood rooted to the ground even when Aurora had begun walking away.
Taking few steps, Aurora realized she wasn't with Craig anymore, she turned back only to see him standing at the spot they stood before, staring at the floor.
Glaring hard at him, Aurora re-traced her steps, walking back to her lost friend.
"What the hell is wrong with you Craig? Why are you standing there like a tree, have you lost it?" She yelled at him, shaking his shoulders which brought him out of his world of thinking.
Craig blinked and only then could Aurora see the worries plastered on his face.
"Swallowing her anger, Aurora placed her hands on her bestfriends shoulders. "What's wrong buddy?" She asked.
"Rora I'm worried"
"Why, what happened?"
"I'm worried about you Rora"
"But why? I don't remember telling you I was sick or anything else apart from me saying I've become rich"
"Yes, that's it. You've become rich on someone's money, the money you stole from a man's wallet, not yours.
"What if he knew it was you who took the money and then track you down? You are gonna go to jail you know that right?" Craig said his eyes full of emotions.
He doesn't like the idea of Aurora taking people's money and now, she has stolen a masked man's money.
Someone that covered his face with mask must be a dangerous man because he doesn't see a reason why someone would cover his face, it only means he doesn't want to be recognized.
And somehow he feels Aurora had gotten herself into a big mess which she might not be able to handle.
