Chapter 198: Chapter 198

Third Person's Point of view

Adonis quickly got up from his seat. The two men were surprised by his quick action but these two also followed without asking because they seemed to have an idea where Adonis was going.

When they came out of the living room, it was already dark and everyone was asleep. Adonis immediately searched for the telephone. When he saw it, he saw that the two were still following him but he ignored them. He needs to find Luna sooner if he doesn't want anything bad to happen to her.

“Let me have Uncle Hernan's number. We must not waste time.” Even though he was still struggling because of his headache, he still tried to speak.

Mark acted and dialed Hernan's number. When the call answered immediately, the two moved away a little so that they could not hear what they could talk about.

The maid answered.

"Good evening, I'm one of Don Hernan's maids, can I know who I'm talking to?" Adonis was surprised because even the maid was professional. Now Adonis gradually became clear that Jessica was lying to him. Jessica convinced him that he lived on the island and that Jessica had to take him abroad for medical treatment.

The photo that spread was really unexpected. Jessica doesn't want photos of her and Adonis to be spread before they get married. But unfortunately, someone was watching them so it was instantly known that they had returned to the country.

Jessica thought she could get Adonis. She didn't expect Luna to move quickly to get Adonis back from her.

"I'm Adonis." That was the only words Adonis uttered because he did not know what his role as an Adonis Ambrose was.

"Young master!" When the maid shouted with joy, he became even more clear that he was a big part of Luna and the people around him in their lives. "Wait a minute and I'll call Don!"

The line did not end but no one spoke. He could already hear the footsteps of the maid running. A few minutes after, a baritone voice spoke on the other line.

“I didn’t expect you to call. I thought you would just let me force you to work for the company and force you to fix the mess you made.” Adonis's uncle Hernan's voice was laughing but he couldn't even smile.

"I want you to help me find Luna and catch the person who dared to take her."

“Why would I do that? Even if you don't remember what happened at all, you should have heard from the mouths of those with you there that I don't like Luna.”

"What do you mean?"

The other line sighed but it didn't calm down. It was as if he was hiding something from Adonis. “Tomorrow. I will find her. Right now, I need to rest first.”

“Why is it still tomorrow? What if-"

"If you really want to find her, why don't you do it yourself?"

Adonis stopped and didn't know what to say.

“I will look for her now. Send me your guards.” Adonis has a strong urge that he doesn’t know where it’s coming from. He doesn’t want to have a happy hour or even a second. Even though he didn't remember Luna yet, he knew that the relationship they had before was special.

“Whether you remember or not. You are still the Adonis then and now when it comes to Luna. If you were crazy to her back then, maybe you are even more crazy to her now.” Hernan's voice was disappointed, irritated and he also sounds happy. Different voices were given to him so he did not know which of them he should think of.

"So, will you help me?"

“I will send the guards to you. I will also start tonight to order to find Luna. Look for her to make the tasm easier.”

Adonis just nodded even though Hernan couldn't see him. When he was about to turn off the call Hernan spoke again.

“You have really grown up. You can now stand on your own two feet ... ” He paused, sighed in surrender and continued. “Well ... I won't interfere with you from now on.I will stop bothering you and Luna from now on. You already know how to make your decisions. I know that if your parents see you today, Adonis .... I know they will be as proud of you as I am. I am happy for you ... son.”

When the line died all of a sudden memories flowed to Adonis. His brain suddenly throbbed, so he lay down on the floor.

"A-Ahhh ...!" His voice echoed throughout the living room so Mark and Raymond immediately ran towards him.

The two are in a hurry to help Adonis get up. All Adonis could think of was how to get rid of his headache as many memories flowed through his brain.

He wanted to hug Luna.

He wants to find Luna.

Because ... his memory ... His memory has returned. He got in pain even more because he remembered the hurtful things he said to Luna.

When he had rested, he looked at the two men in front of him.

"How is Luna?"

"Huh?" Mark and Raymond looked at each other as if looking for an answer to that question. They both frowned because Luna has been kidnapped.

“I remember ... I remember everything. I left Luna.” He got up from his seat then he shook Mark and Raymond's shoulders. “How was she during the days when I was away? What is she doing?”

Mark averted his eyes because he was the one who witnessed what really happened to Luna.

“Mark? Raymond?”

“Sir—” Raymond would have spoken when Mark spoke.

“Everything has been though for her. She can't sleep or eat ... Every day I hear her from her room, sobbing. She almost ate a bottle of sleeping pills a day just to sleep.”

Adonis's shoulders dropped and he wanted to blame himself.

“If you still want to know everything, you better ask her. We need to find Miss Luna immediately.”
