Chapter 199: Chapter 199

Third Person’s Point of view

"Sir Adonis, I got a call from Mr Hernan informing me that he was unable to reach you due to the fact that you do not have your phone. He said that they had previously ascertained Luna's whereabouts through the integrated CCTV."  Mark continued to pant as he talked. Adonis jumped into action as he realized he would no longer have to wait.

"Be prepared! We're on our way to Luna!" Consider how Adonis behaved. Even as his body deteriorated, he felt compelled to act. Even though it was cold this dawn, his fellows were still restless. He thought that he would just raise their salary.

"Sir Adonis, won't you take a moment to rest?" Raymond followed him, and Mark asked.

"There is no use in squandering time. Where is he? "

"She was discovered in an abandoned warehouse, but security was strong, and I knew entry would be tough for everyone."

"I understand."

They parked their vehicle in the distance, followed by the back ups. Adonis also contacted the authorities. Raymond cautioned them on whether or not to walk. The guards could be heard conversing and joking in the distance, and they did not seem to be aware that an adversary was monitoring them.

While out strolling, Adonis comes upon a huge rock. He moved ahead of Raymond, guarded by more armed men. Adonis also carries a concealed pistol, but he is unable to use it since it would begin to make noise. He desired that they exit this location without incident.

The guard drank the alcohol first, then Adonis smacked him all over the head with the stone he was carrying. Raymond and Mark instantly choked the man's buddy, who was going to bring out the gun.

One of them had lost consciousness, while the other remained aware. While Raymond was still clutching his neck, Adonis approached the guy left behind.

"I understand you don't want to answer this question, but you have a choice: do you want to die or do you want to tell me what you know?"

"W-What are you talking about — ackk."

"Refrain from speaking until our boss is finished." Raymond's grasp on the guy became tighter.

"What happened to Luna and Leilani?  Are they in this place?" Adonis continued.

“Y-yeah—” He was unable to complete what he was about to say after being struck hard on the back of Raymond's neck.

"We must get them, Raymond!"

Raymond nodded and moved in the direction of Adonis. “Mark! You've already decided what course of action you're going to take. Allow not one of them to escape!"

Mark just nodded and proceeded.

Adonis and Raymond passed upwards. Fortunately, their bodies are flexible, and Adonis already knows how to move, since climbing on the terrace would be impossible without it. When they reached the top, he saw the whole chamber was black.

While Mark felt unafraid to go by the living room, he saw the three guards gambling. When the men peeked at them, their eyes opened somewhat, but they swiftly raised their hands in response to the fact that many of Adonis' men had aimed their rifles at them. Mark grabbed their firearms and tied them up, ensuring that no one could escape. The police siren was the next thing they heard.

Adonis saw Luke undoing his belt as he opened the sliding door. Raymond and Adonis were so enraged that they simultaneously kicked Luke.

"W-what—!" When he realized who was now in front of him, he couldn't complete what he was about to say. He was ready to open his lips when he rushed to open the door upon hearing the police siren. However, he did not anticipate that when he opened the door, he would be greeted by a swarm of guards.

Adonis shifted his gaze to Luna, who had been looking at him. However, when Luna recognized Adonis in front of her, she couldn't stop crying since Adonis had finally returned to her, but she was ignorant that Adonis' memory had returned as well.

Raymond, on the other hand, promptly embraced Leilani, who was covered in bruises as a result of Luke's many smacks. He assisted Leilani in standing up because Leilani intended to launch a complaint against Luke and she wanted to expedite the divorce process.

Everyone is gone, and Adonis is removing Luna's leash. Adonis asked everyone to depart first, but he instructed Mark to watch the entrance. Luna hugged him immediately once he totally unfastened the rope.

"It is really you, Adonis." She was inconsolable as she held Adonis even more at this point.

“Yes. I am the real Adonis. I am Adonis, your Adonis. " Adonis remarked, smiling, but Luna didn't understand what Adonis meant. She only gave him a puzzled face till Adonis resumed speaking. "My memory has returned, Luna. I recall everything, even what you previously told me."

Luna's tears poured even more heavily now, but they were tears of ecstasy.

"Are you alright?" Adonis asked.

“Yes..”

Adonis stroked Luna's face, and Luna, for the first time in a long time, touched it and spoke what she wanted to say to Adonis.

"Adonis, I love you."

"Yet, you are privy of what I did to your parents."

"I am also aware of why you did it." Luna gave a bitter smile.

“Luna…” Adonis now grasped Luna's cheek more gently. "Are you willing to give me another chance?  Luna, I love you. I really do. ”

Luna only nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. Adonis wiped the tears from her eyes.

"I'm sorry; you've already endured enough."

Luna locked her eyes on Adonis, and Adonis responded to Luna.   Luna encircled Adonis' neck with her hand, and the two gradually drew their faces closer. Luna was briefly touched by Adonis before he shoved her hard into the bed. Luna's eyes are wide with astonishment as a result of what Adonis has done.

“I miss you, Luna.”
