"Haaaa." I sighed and ruffled my hair in response to my thoughts. This is not the time for me to dwell on the negative. I'm certain Adonis will return.

I gave a bittersweet grin to the sky. Who am I deceiving? I am fully conscious of my own truth. I am aware that regardless of what occurs, there is a 5% chance that what I believe will happen. I would have risen up had the concept not already taken up home in my mind when a man spoke behind me.

"It seems as if you're going through a difficult moment, and as a result, you're likely to sigh heavily right now." He smiled at me, and I returned the grin with a sorrowful one. I also have no idea why I'm down today. I vowed to myself that I would never abandon myself again. I promised myself that I would not drag the company into disrepute.

I stood up because the man suddenly spoke. I saw that he laughed because of my reaction while I was holding my heart. It's Mr Lorenzo. I went back to my seat and looked at him straight and then looked back at the glass wall.

"Why are you still here, Mr Lorenzo? Did you left something?" I didn’t look at him while asking. I heard him sigh so I was even more awkward that I have someone in the room now.

"I have nothing left." He chuckled. "I just wanted to give my condolences that I forgot to give earlier."

Because of what he said, I kept looking at him. It seems unusual that suddenly someone comes back just to say that. But at least I appreciate it.

"Maybe you're wondering why I even bothered to come back." He continued to speak but I just didn’t give any meaning to what he was doing now.

"Adonis has become a good friend of mine so when I found out what happened to him, I was one of the saddest." He also took a swivel chair and sat there. Because of what he said he has already grabbed my attention. I didn’t speak and just let him speak.

“It's just sad because he helped me so much, I didn't even reciprocate all that. Adonis is really a kind person.”

"He is indeed." I couldn’t help myself to add to what he commented. "He helped me a lot too and I regret everything."

I could no longer hear myself in the last line I mumbled. No matter how much I think over and over again, the pain in my heart still lingers. My nightmare will visit me every day.

When sadness almost visited me again, I rose to my feet. I'm not allowed to have procrastination because I have a lot of responsibilities from now on. I also don't have time for Athen so I feel even more guilty.

"Thank you for your time Mr Lorezo but I need to go back to my office because I still have a lot to fix." I turned my back on him but before I could take a step, he grabbed my arm. I followed the hand with my eyes and I saw that Lorenzo was also looking.

"Mr. Lorenzo?"

“Oh! Ah! I'm sorry. I did not mean." He removed his hand as if he had burned from my skin. “I just want to introduce myself formally to you. I'm Lorenzo Gomez.” He smiled at me.

“Nice meeting you, Mr Gomez. Let's cooperate.”

I walked into the office and the hours passed quickly. There was nothing too heavy about what I did today but just meeting with other employees about the next project. I was unaware that it was dark and I needed to go home.

As I was walking down the elevator, I saw something I was not expecting. It’s late but I don’t know what else Luke is doing here. It's also been a long time since we last met. What will I tell him when he comes in front of me?

I quickly hid so he could not see me. While I was hiding, he was right to stop at my place. I covered my mouth so as not to make any more noise. With so much place he can go, why he went here?

I turned my head to look for another employee I could approach. I don’t know if I will move but I know he will hear the stilettos when I move.

It was exactly when I move that I have heard his phone. He didn't hear my weak movements.

I can't hear what the person on the other line is saying but I can hear him mumbling something.

"Did you see her?" His voice was firm.

My suspicion only grew brighter. Am I what he is looking for? It is impossible for him to look for Leilani in the same company as Adonis. He didn't know that Leilani was with me in our mansion. I still listened to him speak.
