Chapter 179: Chapter 179

Luna’s Point of view

EARLY IN THE MORNING IN THE GARDEN

“W-What? How did he get there? How come he gets to enter?" As we seated, Leilani was already nibbling her finger. I'm sitting with her now as we face Wendy. We're now chatting about the issue of Luke and also discussing Jessica. The suspicion of what happened yesterday has not been allayed.

"I, too, am unsure. I'm reluctant to tell them who they should and should not welcome, since given Luke's position, it's frightening to think they'll kill those I've ordered. You are familiar with your husband, Leilani. He did harm you; he will very certainly do the same to others."

"However, Luna, isn't it fortunate that you fled before he noticed you?" Wendy inquired at the moment.

"It is due to Raymond. He just stopped me and escorted me to the exit room. I'm not clear how he discovered my spot and saw those guys roaming outside the building. Fortunately, we made a safe return." I'm beginning to feel nervous since my previous issues have not been resolved, yet we've experienced it again. I had lost track of what I would think about and concentrate on initially.

Wendy and I exchanged glances with Leilani.

"How are you going to proceed now, Lei?"

"I do not know. Yet, I was aware that I would have to cope with it all as well. Perhaps I need to return to Luke and regain that resolve, since it keeps happening if I don't deal with things. I could not hide myself in the shadows, and there would be no answer." I saw that her finger was becoming sore.

“Lei…” I called her . I'm sure it'll be a tough choice for her, all the more so now since her husband is that kind of person.

"Hey!"

We were immediately distracted by the sound of someone speaking behind us. When we realized who it was, Sasha smiled and instantly sat next to Wendy. Wendy, on the other hand, evaded and made a little movement. My brow furrowed because I wasn't sure whether she wanted to give Sasha space or if she really disliked being around her.

"What are you guys talking about?" Sasha grinned as she shifted her gaze between me and Leilani. Occasionally, Wendy was the one who swiftly lost her temper.

"Nothing!" Wendy rose promptly and made no attempt to say good-bye to us. Wayne was going to greet her as she walked back. We sat there watching them enter, while Leilani next to me seemed uneasy as well.

I've only been working for a few days, yet it seems as if there is a lot going on these days. I'm not sure whether I'm the only one who feels the weight of Sasha's aura, or if they do as well. I'm hesitant to send them away since I'm thinking about Nana as well. She asked if I could keep them, but it would be unpleasant if I had to send them away unexpectedly.

“Ahm. Have you seen Raymond, Luna? I haven't seen him since you arrived last night. I'm still on the lookout for him —- "

"How come you're still waiting for him?" Leilani's visage took on the appearance of a poker face.

As a result, I scratched my head and stood up to alleviate the tension between them. I'm helpless to just observe them since Leilani's stress has escalated. I smiled and widened my eyes at Leilani, as if to convey that she had  to regain her composure and that I would take care of whatever I intended to do to Sasha.

"Why are you searching for Raymond, Sasha?  I didn't know you were close.” I giggled to avoid seeming to be grilling her.

I saw Sasha blushing fast as a result of what I said. No. Does this imply that she is already fond of Raymond? Is she blind to Leilani's relationship and the man she admires? So, this  is why Leilani is enraged. What about Wendy? Why did her demeanor change only because she saw Sasha? It seems as if I have a lot to learn today.

"He is now in my room. Sleeping. You do realize now why he is sleeping in my room, don't you?" Leilani grinned cruelly, while Sasha cried. My eyes soon expanded. Why is she inconsolable?

"What is the problem, Sasha?" Yeah. I am a dumb. I was aware of the reason for her tears, but I inquired nevertheless. It seems as if there is a loose screw in my head at the moment.

"Raymond and I are just friends but I don't know why your friend is so mean to me." The wailing became much more childlike. I'm also becoming annoyed.

“But Sasha, Leilani didn't say anything bad to you. She just states what you want to know. You were seeking for Raymond, she answered, and told you he was asleep in her room. You did get your response, didn't you?" I smiled at her and reached out to touch her. She is like a toddler that hadn't gotten what she desired. But before I could reach out and grab her, she withdrew her hand and I marveled at what she said next.

"That is why your best friends have poor habits; you have nasty behaviors as well!"

“Ajios! What exactly did you say?!!" Wendy sprang to her feet, but I stopped her.

"It's all right, Wendy."

"Sasha, if you believe we're attacking you, you're mistaken. We just wish to provide you with the answers you want. Now that we've given up, you're going to get furious. Is there an issue?" I didn't believe I had much patience.

"I want to see Raymond, but you're forcing him to despise me in order for me not to see him!" She screamed now.

I grabbed Leilani's hand and yanked her back.

"What is happening here?"
