Chapter 156: Chapter 156

"I'm sorry and I couldn't help you with your problem," Estella said with a sad expression now. Even though they didn't have so much time to get along, Estella got closer to Luna. The gratitude on Luna's face couldn't be erased because somehow someone helped her the first day she stayed on this island.

"Isn't it helping to be called that you've kept me here for a few days?"

Luna stayed on the island for three more days in the hope that she would find more information. She also found out that Raymond and Mark were sleeping with Apo Tilo. They extended for three days but unfortunately they had nothing else to see or question.

Luna hugged Estella tightly because she knew that would be the last time they would meet. Luna also heard the sound of the yacht so she quickly let go of the hug.

"If you think of visiting our place, you are welcome to stay at my house." Luna invited her. Estella nodded as she wiped away her tears without stopping.

Estella has become very close to Luna because maybe Estella lost her child. Luna couldn't help but wonder if it was okay to leave Estella alone because she was old and needed someone to take care of her.

Luna stared at the old woman and thought that the woman could live with them because they didn't have too many people with them.

“Nana, maybe you want to live in our house? I'm sure you're will not feel alone because my daughter is there. I wish someone would take care of her whenever I go somewhere, don't worry and I will give you a salary. ” Luna smiled at her.

Estella's eyes grew bigger as she looked at her and couldn't believe Luna's offer. She gave her a look as if asking if she was serious about what she was saying.

Luna nodded because she noticed that the old woman was interested in the offer she made.

"You don't have to spend anything." Luna looked at the ruined hut. "Your hut is also old, perhaps there something will happen to you if it gave up."

Estella looked behind Luna when she saw the two men heading to their spot.

Estella brought her face close to Luna's ear and whispered. "They might get mad at me when I come along…"

Luna laughed because of what the Nana told her so she turned her back on them. She saw the two whose faces were clearer now. Mark frowned because he heard what the woman said.

“We don’t care about it because we are just Ma’am Luna's guards. She can invite whoever she wants to Sir Adonis' house. ” Mark said coldly but it was a joke so Raymond laughed at what he said.

"Don't scare her." Raymond walked over to Estella and stepped over.

Luna looked at Mark to make sure the man was okay. Mark looked at her too. He opened his mouth but only air came out. Luna raised an eyebrow at him.

"Do you want to say something?" Luna couldn't help but ask him.

It was a long time before Mark spoke. Raymond, on the other hand, had Estella inside the hut so that she could pack her clothes.

"Can we talk, Miss Luna?"

"What for?"

"About Sir Adonis's uncle," his face was worried.

"Uncle Hernan." Those words just came out of Luna's mouth. Fear enveloped Luna's heart because she didn't know what to say to Adonis' uncle. And she was also afraid that she would be thrown from Adonis' mansion.

She didn't want to leave that mansion not because they were safer there but because it's the only reason she had. She could see every corner of that house with Adonis.

Luna couldn't speak because she didn't know what to say. When she remembered how Adonis' uncle would embarrass her, she was immediately afraid.

"I don't know… I don't want to be kicked out of the mansion, that's all Adonis has that I know I can remember everything about him."

Luna looked at Mark with a frightened reaction. Mark didn't know what to say. But while the two of them were silent, Mark thought of a way why Luna could stay at Adonis' house.

"There's only one way so that Sir Hernan can't let you go."

Mark also knows that there is a chance that Luna will be evicted because Hernan is extremely angry with the woman.

Mark and Raymond know the secret of the Salander and Everdeen family. For Mark, he is not in a position to judge what Adonis is doing. For him, his boss is a kind person and everything he does is justified.

"What?"

“The lawyer. We need to know who will inherit Adonis' assets in case he disappears.”

"But Adonis isn't dead yet," Luna quickly yelled at him.

Mark didn't say a word because he didn't want to argue with Luna anymore. He knew that the two of them would only talk for a long time.

"When we find out that you can get an inheritance in any of Adonis' property, you can negotiate with his uncle… but if not, we can't do anything else…"

Luna was discouraged because of what Mark said.

"But how can we know that?" Luna couldn't stop herself from asking questions either.

"We have to give sir Adonis a burial."

"But ---"

"Don't worry because after that, the operation to find him will continue."

Luna suddenly realized what Mark had said. She had to cooperate if she didn't want to lose the mansion to her.

Luna nodded in agreement.

Exactly after they talked, Estella came out with a big bag. She smiled as she approached them. Estella glanced at her old hut again before walking towards Luna.

“Let’s go?” Luna invited.

Luna knows that this problem is only trial.
