Chapter 154: Chapter 154

"Hey, how are you?"

"You need to wake up, why are you sleepy now?"

Luna opened her eyes and shed warm tears when she saw Adonis' face near her. Adonis touched her soft face and gave her a sweet smile.

Luna was about to touch Adonis' face as the face of the man she really wanted to see gradually left. She got up from her lying position and she saw Adonis running. Her heart pounded.

SHe noticed the white surroundings as if she had seen it before. She wondered how she had gotten here if Raymond had been with her lately. But Luna ignored all that because she thought that her search was finally over. She found Adonis again.

For her, it was all worth it.

But as he approaches, she sees the strong sea waves as Adonis waits for her on the shore. Though she was confused she did not stop. For her, that was the only way she could correct her wrong decision.

"Wait for me." She shouted at the man who had now reached out his hand.

She would have taken Adonis's hand when suddenly; the man was swept away by a strong wave.

"Adonis?" Luna ran to look for the man but she could not find him. She ran into the water.

"Adonis, where are you?" Luna insisted on calling Adonis' name as her foot was already wet with water.

She was getting closer and closer to the deep part but she still couldn't see him.

When the water was in her chest she felt the cold hand holding her foot. When she looked down, she saw Adonis with blood on his head as his skin turned pale like a corpse.

She planned to run but she couldn’t do it, all of a sudden he just pulled her leg hard.

Fear roared in Luna's heart because instead of finding peace in her heart because Adonis returned, she only experienced a nightmare.

Adonis chases her as she leaves the water but…

“Ahh! Stop!”

She woke up from her bed as sweat formed on her forehead. She catches her breath as she looks around her. As soon as she was about to get out of bed, she felt very dizzy.

When she looked at the table she saw the old woman cutting vegetables. She would have looked at the time because she didn't know how long she had been sleeping but she couldn't remember if she had brought her phone with her.

Her brain is very confused because of the amount that has happened. She doesn't think she can think straight anymore.

She tried to massage her head while calming herself.

It's spontaneous that as soon as she leaned her back, Estelle turned to her. Estella was immediately fixed in her seat when it sank into her that Luna was awake, she quickly got up from her position.

"Oh — you're awake." She hurried to get a bowl to get the food she had cooked. She didn't know what to prioritize while Luna was just watching her.

Luna leaned her back against the wall because the bed she was lying on was glued to it. She closed her eyes again and hoped that Adonis would visit her again in her dream. But no matter what she does, she only feels painful and scorching tears.

“I'm sorry and this is the only food I can cook. My cooking is delicious, go ahead and eat it because your companions told me that you haven't eaten since morning, that's probably why you lost consciousness, ”Estella told her in a long litany.

Luna just looked at the food that was given to her and she didn't feel like eating it. Even if Nana was right in telling her, she wouldn't feel the hungriness. If she wants anything to happen, that would be that her anguish would be over.

Estella lost hope when Luna turned her head against the wall and stared weakly at it. She just wants to close her eyes and live in a dream with Adonis.

"Your comrades said that you can stay here first while they were still gathering other information." Estella continued even though she didn't get an answer.

She stood up and just returned the food she had prepared for Luna.

"I found out that you still have a child waiting for your return," Nana turned around as she spoke. She was facing the table as she sat down again while she continued to cut the vegetables she had been working on.

As she expected, she could not get an answer from the woman because her mind seemed to have lost its appetite like the heart she felt.

"You know, you’re lucky," even though she knew that her every word was in the air, she still did not give up talking to the woman. "Because you, you still have a child to go home to, your life will still continue because you have left a memory of the person you love so much… While I…"

At that moment, Estella grabbed her attention because Luna turned to her.

“As for me, I have nothing left. He left nothing to remember but the scar he left is still here. How many years has it been? Ten? Twenty? Thirty? The wound is still fresh, from the day he died with my son until now.” Estella smiled bitterly,

"Why?" Luna asked in a slow voice because even she was already curious.

"They drowned."

That's all Estella said because she didn't want to go back to that memory.

"Why don't you look for someone else?" Luna asked again.

“For what else? The person who comes can heal the wound but it will not erase the memory. If only my son had lived too, I might have continued. But, I'm just waiting for me to lose my breath so that I can be with them again.”

Because of what Luna heard, her body went cold. She suddenly thought of Athen if ever she seemed to have disappeared as well.
