Chapter 148: Chapter 148
"Have you settled the yacht we're going to use?" I was walking down the stairs when I saw them waiting. My eyes go back to the second floor because I don't want Athen to see me leaving.
Raymon was the only one looking at me while Mark was talking on the phone.
When Raymond and I were only a few steps away, he spoke.
“He needs to talk to the mechanic of the yacht. We first need to make sure that it doesn't break when we sail. The location where the plane crashed is also quite far.”
I nodded and looked at Mark who was nodding at the person he was talking to even though he couldn't see him. They were so used to sudden trouble so I knew I had nothing to worry about anymore.
Mark is back with us now as he puts his phone back in his pocket. "The yacht is good and can be used, our only problem is the authorization."
"Authorization?" I frowned. "What for?"
“Because of the accident, the authorities are now limiting the number of people who can enter that part of the sea. We first need to get a paper that says we are allowed because your lover is the one we will go and look for.” He shrugged and continued. "We can also assume and reason that their response is too slow."
I just listen to everything they say because I'm just new to this thing, they knowledgeable than me.
We left the house, we still have to go through to get the authorization that Mark says. Without them maybe I wouldn’t know what I would do.
We traveled quickly and reached the city. I don't know where we are but it's like a public agency. Only Mark entered while Raymond waited in the car with me.
I look back and forth at my phone, hoping Adonis will leave me a message. I still wish that he is safe and that nothing bad has happened to him.
I leaned my head against the glass window and looked outside. I haven't been to this city yet because I don't go out very often and I don't have anything to do.
I still need to get my belongings to Guangdong to take to the mansion. As I was drowning in thought, I stared at the man out of the restaurant, just next to the building where Mark had entered.
I sat up straight for who it was. I blinked three times to make sure it was him and I wasn't wrong.
"It's Cole." I whispered. Since there was no noise in the car, I'm sure Raymond heard me.
I could see in my peripheral vision that even he had looked there but his expression did not change at all.
"W-why?" I asked curiously and looked at him. I turned my head again to Cole's spot but he was gone.
Raymond leaned back in his seat. “Sir Adonis already knows about his release from prison. All his cases were dismissed because of a businessman as well.”
"Who?" I wonder question. I don't think anyone can beat Adonis. I thought if Adonis is in the move, he is like a judge for everything. Everything would be easy and he would definitely like the law.
"It's Luke."
“Luke Yuno?” I confirmed what he said.
He never answered my question but I was sure. Not long after, Mark went inside.
He lifted the paper. "It's with me already."
I leaned back and closed my eyes. We have a long way to go. We still have to go to where the yact is then we will go to the airplane crash.
I just woke up when the car door opened. I saw Mark coming down as I looked at the sea water.
Raymond knocked on my window so I lowered the window. “Ma'am Luna, everything is fine. We can leave now.”
I nodded at what he said. I know it will be dangerous for us to do but I have to take a risk.
I got out of the car and I was the first one they let into the yacht. They gave me the life vest. It took us maybe two hours to get here because I saw that the sun was high and now we were ready to depart.
Raymond was in control of the yacht. During their time with Adonis, it was impossible that they would not study the matter.
I watched the sea and observed how vast it was. My brain was full of the question of where to start or how. On a nearby island?
I just didn’t speak up because I knew Raymond and Mark knew their action. Throughout our trip in the vertical sun, my mind was just flying over the things I would do when Adonis got back.
I was not mistaken that they were going to an island.
“This is the closest island I have seen. We can start asking questions here.” It's Raymond.
Mark immediately jumped into the water and walked ahead. I saw white sand on this island. I also saw rescuers passing by as well. I waited for Raymond to stop the yacht completely before I followed Mark.
I rashly ran and saw the standing coconuts.
I met some lumberjacks, I hoped to ask them but I noticed that they didn’t care about us so I just didn’t go any further.
My eyes searched for Mark and I spotted him entering a hut. The freshness of this place is perfect for a vacation.
I get to Mark's place and saw Raymond striding towards us as well.
"Does the plane you're talking about was the crashed last night?" An old woman opened the door.
"We didn't notice it because of the heavy rain last night, only in the morning did a fisherman see it or something." The woman stopped and looked at me. "But I know someone who doesn't leave the place you went in, whether it's sunny or raining."
An old woman thought a little and it was as if had already thought of something. "I just don't know if you can talk to her properly."
"Why?" I have already blocked to their conversation.
“Sasha has lost her sanity since her husband left her. She is always waiting at the port you passed through in the hope that her husband will return.” She approached us and whispered. "She probably saw how the plane crashed... the only problem is, if you ask her, she'll just laugh at you or drive you away."
She laughed again.
"Where can I see her?"
