Chapter 100: Chapter 100

Third Person’s POV

Sebastian was taken aback by the revelation he had with Agatha. He was overwhelmed with guilt knowing that Agatha was sold due to her father's debts and that she was in love with someone whose father wanted to harm her.

In order to help Agatha, Sebastian pushed his emotions aside and focused on finding ways to assist her.

"Why is she taking so long?" Sebastian pondered.

His detective uncle had finally gathered evidence proving that Agatha's father was murdered by Mr. Ian Grim. He planned to share this information with Agatha, but she was taking her time.

Out of the blue, Sebastian received a text from Mikhail.

A look of disapproval crossed Sebastian's face. He was ready to lash out at Mikhail for not intervening to protect Agatha from his father's threats. However, the content of Mikhail's message caught Sebastian off guard.

[‘Where’s Agatha! Make sure to keep her safe!’]

Curious about this, Sebastian replied, “What do you mean?”

Mikhail then responded, [“768 Boulevard street, Grim enterprise building. You must take Agatha in that place no matter what!”]

Sebastian was completely lost. He couldn't make sense of anything. But he understood that he had to heed Mikhail's words this time.

Suddenly, Agatha caught his attention by waving her hand. "Sebastian!"

Turning around, Sebastian noticed a black van tailing Agatha.

"Oh no," he muttered. Without hesitation, he dashed towards Agatha and grabbed her wrist.

"What's happening..." Agatha began to question, but Sebastian didn't wait. He pulled her along to run.

Sebastian settled Agatha on his motorcycle and handed her a helmet. After putting on his own helmet, he revved up the engine.

"Where are we going?!" Agatha inquired.

"It's Mikhail! He told me to take you somewhere!"

If it came from Mikhail, Agatha believed there must be something from this. And so, she wrapped her arms around Sebastian tightly.

--------------------------------------------

Sebastian successfully managed to bring Agatha to Grim Enterprises. They had some men tailing them, so they had to hurry.

Mikhail had instructed Sebastian to bring Agatha to the meeting hall. Sebastian was familiar with the place since he was also a part of the conglomerate. However, they now faced a new challenge.

"How are we going to get past the security?" Sebastian asked, eyeing the group of security guards in the company.

"Get them!" the men who were following them shouted.

All eyes turned towards them.

Sebastian held Agatha's hand tightly.

"Don't..." he whispered, before turning to her. "Close your eyes and trust me." He winked at her and then lifted her up from the ground.

"Ohh!" Agatha gasped.

Sebastian carried her, placing her on his shoulder like a sack. "Keep your eyes closed. Hold on tight."

Following his instructions, Agatha closed her eyes tightly and clung onto his back.

Sebastian dashed ahead after she did. Despite the men attempting to grab him, he managed to outpace a few with his agility. As for the rest, he resorted to using his helmet to fend them off aggressively.

“Ack!”

“Ack!”

Bam!

Agatha could only imagine what was happening around her with her eyes closed. But despite not being able to see, she had faith in Sebastian.

She suddenly heard Sebastian's shallow breaths, causing her to open her eyes and realize that they were already inside the elevator.

"Damn, you're heavy," Sebastian grumbled as he set her down.

Agatha glanced at the men who were attempting to board the elevator and catch them.

"Sebastian!" she reminded urgently.

However, Sebastian remained calm and simply stared at them. Just as the elevator doors were about to close and their pursuers were within reach, Sebastian swiftly threw his helmet at them.

Ding!

The elevator doors closed, providing them with a momentary respite. Sebastian took a moment to catch his breath before pressing the button for the 21st floor.

"While I was running, I noticed that the main hall is on the 21st floor," Sebastian explained, turning to face Agatha.

She gaped at him. Not only he surpassed the guards, but he also found out the floor number of their destination. He isn’t really a son of General and a nephew of a detective for nothing.

Sebastian gave a warning to Agatha to step back. She, impressed by his fighting skills, complied. Sebastian positioned himself in front of the elevator, anticipating a confrontation with more men once the doors opened. He mentally prepared himself for the upcoming challenge.

He removed his pricey N*ke shoes, valued at $100,000, and counted silently to himself.

17, 18, 19, 20...

When he reached 21, the elevator doors slid open with a loud noise.

Ding!

True to his expectations, a group of men rushed towards them. With his shoes in hand, Sebastian swiftly defeated them, making it look effortless.

"Ack!"

He delivered a final blow, causing them all to fall like dominoes.

"Let's move!" Sebastian exclaimed, pulling Agatha along as they made their way to the meeting hall.

Bam!

Sebastian, now perspiring, entered the room where all the executives were gathered.

All eyes turned to him.

Sebastian muttered under his breath, wiping the sweat from his face. "I have to give it to these guards, they really work hard." He grinned at the men before ushering Agatha inside. "I hope we're not running late."

Agatha entered, her knees shaking. Trying to catch her breath, she looked up and met the intense stares of Mr. Jake Dawson and Mr. Ian Grim.

She turned her head and saw Lanceil standing in front, looking like he had been waiting for her. A faint, sad smile appeared on his lips.
