Chapter 19: Chapter 19
Master Damien walked towards a particular sword which was hanged differently away from the other.
It seemed to be a special sword because it was highly decorated and its blade was sparkling out when he pulled it out.
He touched the blade, rubbing the sharp end gently. The sword was old but well taken care of and handle with care.
The sword was special to him and was given to him by his grandfather who he loved so dearly.
It was on that faithful day, he had run out of his mother's cottage to the courtyard where his grandfather always sits every morning and evening.
"Paa are you resting" he had asked when he got to the courtyard to see his grandfather resting on an armchair with his eyes partly closed.
"No Damien, I had been waiting for you to come, sit down," he said and Damien nodded happily and sat down.
He always sits with his grandfather every evening to listen to his stories which he always enjoys hearing.
"Paa are you going to tell me a story now" the twelve years old Damien asked and his grandfather shook his head.
"No stories today but I have a gift for you," he said and Damien squealed.
"Really Paa? You have a gift for me" he asked, his tiny voice screamed happily.
"Yes here is it," the grandfather said and brought out a shiny sword and gave it to him.
"But Paa, this is your sword why are you giving it to me?" Damien asked confused staring at the sword his grandfather had given to him.
His grandfather held his tiny hands and drew him to himself. "This sword will protect you if you treat it right, it is not an ordinary sword and I'm giving it to you to take good care of it, I perceive evil lurking around here and I Know this sword will be safe with you," he said and Damien who hadn't understood what he meant stare on.
"Paa but why give it to me when my father would take care of it the more," he asked.
"You are the rightful owner and would take care of it better than your father," his grandfather said and he nodded.
"Quickly go and keep it safe inside and make sure no one sees it then come back for your story," the grandfather said and Damien happily ran into the house to keep the sword safe.
"He kept the sword under his mattress then ran back to the courtyard only to see his grandfather laying in his pool of blood with an arrow pierced on his chest.
"Paaaaaaa!!!!" He screamed at the top of his voice and saw a man escaping, he knew the man was behind his paa's condition.
He closed his eyes and pull out the arrow from his paa's bother then ran after the man he saw escaping.
He was only twelve years old but he was always trained to fight and be ready for war which happens anytime without notice.
He ran until he was a few kilometers away from the man, then he threw the arrow which flew and luckily landed on the man piercing his back.
The man stumbled and landed on the floor then he quickly ran towards him but was shocked to see it was his father.
His father killed his grandfather and then he killed his father. He withdrew back and by then the guards has already reached him and seeing it was his father, they grabbed him.
FLASHBACK OVER........
Master Damien bent over and picked the sword then stare at it for a long time, sighed, and walked out of the room.
He stood at his terrace staring down the castle to his warrior's training at the field. He watched them for a while before returning to his chambers.

"So you are saying we should stroll out the castle?" Lydia asked and Galene nodded.
"You know the warriors are practicing at the field, maybe we should do a sneak peek at them a little bit," Lydia said and Galene nodded and stood up.
"Where are you both heading to, let me follow you," Mariam said coming out of the bathroom.
"Are you joining us, Luciana?" Galene asked Lucianna who ignore her. "Let's go Galene let Luciana be," Mariam said and they all walked out of the room leaving Luciana alone.
They converse as they walked through the hallway that leads to the field. "Let's stop here and hide before they See's us," Mariam said and they all hid behind a brick.
"Look at the Master, he looks so handsome and powerful supervising the warriors himself" Lydia gushed making Galene roll her eyes.
"There's nothing so special about him and he is not the only good-looking one among them Lydia, most of the warriors are all huge and good looking especially Robin" Mariam gushed staring dreamily at Robin.
"Mariam what are you doing? Do not let the master see you for having eyes on his right-hand guard, he would behold you" Lydia scolded making Marian get back to her senses and look away from Robin.
"Hey you, what are you doing? Is that how to attack your opponent" Master Damien yell at a warrior who was making a mistake.
"Am sorry my lord" he apologized and corrected himself then continued training. Master Damien supervised them for a while before handing over to Robin then he left the field while the Warriors continued training.
"Let's go, the Master has gone and there's nothing special watching them if not for the Master" Lydia grumbled and Galene scoffed.
"Are you here to watch the warriors train or to daydream on Master Damian?" Galene asked looking intently at Lydia.
"Of course what else am I doing if not to watch the Master. I am not even happy he didn't fight but just supervised, you need to see the master fight" she gushed and Mariam shushed, dragging her out of the brick and they all returned to their room.
