Chapter 91: Chapter 91
Emelinia cried inconsolably in Reena's arms at Sevilon's mansion. She couldn't go back home because the army destroyed the house. They were also looking for her so as to exile her and her children. Sevilon offered her his home and she accepted for the sake of her children. Precious was in the company of Sevilon's sons whereas Nalvin was with one of Reena's nannies.
"What I'm I to do now? My husband and my family have gone taking my happiness along with them." Emelinia bitterly complained.
"It's going to be okay." Reena comforted her.
"How will it be okay? Please tell me. In case you haven't noticed we have lost. I haven't gotten a single vision or dream about Sharaina becoming queen after what King Meelzib did."
"Your stress is the reason why Emelinia." Sevilon spoke up. "Your emotions are blocking them away. Keep a cool mind it is not yet over."
"It's so easy for you to tell me to keep a cool mind because you still have your family with you. I will never see my family again and Sharaina is as good as dead." Emelinia shouted at Sevilon, appalled by his optimism.
"She will not die. Sharaina has proven to us that she comes out victorious no matter what is thrown at her. Need I remind you that this isn't the first time she has been captured by King Meelzib? Emelinia I need you to have a clear mind so that we can strategize efficiently. Now isn't the time to cry but to act."
"Commander please understand my feelings. Can't you see that I am hurting? I can't even look at my daughter in the face. I cannot bear to tell her the truth that she will never see her father ever again. It's worse for my son because he will never know his father."
Sevilon and Reena stood helplessly looking at Emelinia. Neither of them knew what else to say to her nor how to comfort her. Sevilon silently gestured for Reena to follow him out so as to give Emelinia space.
Reena followed him to their bed room and closed the door behind her. She saw Sevilon open their safe and pull out a briefcase. He placed the briefcase before Reena and opened it. It was completely filled with gold coins.
"I need you to take this money and go to Egypt with our children and Emelinia's children. You can take two nannies with you." Sevilon told Reena but she shook her head. "I already told you that a time like this would come." He stressed.
"I am afraid of losing you." Reena felt her tears coming.
"I am even more afraid of something happening to you and our sons." Sevilon held her hands. "King Meelzib will come after me any day from now. Ouman has already sent his family away."
"How can you honestly expect me to leave you behind?"
"You must, if not for my sake then for the sake of our boys. Raglan asked me to get Sharaina to the throne therefore I must. That was his only dying wish. How will I do what he asked of me by leaving for Egypt with you?"
Reena hugged Sevilon. "Promise me that you will come and get us."
"I promise you Reena."

Naraygeous sat alone in a rowdy bar in the outskirts of Cherilisia. He drank his beer quietly while he watched two men fight over a woman. Four more men showed up and threw the brawling men out of the bar; hurling insults at them. The woman they were fighting for clearly didn't care about either of the men because she winked at Naraygeous the moment the men were thrown out.
Naraygeous ignored her and continued drinking his beer. His indifference did not stop the woman from going to him. She sat at his table and slowly fanned herself while blinking her eyes repeatedly at him. Her long eye lashes synced well with her thick red lips. Her cleavage shined due to her sweat. She pulled a napkin out of her bag and seductively wiped her sweat off her breasts.
"Aren't you going to buy me a drink?" She asked him and whipped her curly brown her behind with a giggle.
"I'm waiting for someone." Naraygeous lazily answered her.
"Who, is it your girlfriend?" Her voice got deeper in an appeasing way.
"I am the one he is waiting for." Shays, a lieutenant, member of the rebels and Naraygeous most trusted spy, said. His uniform intimidated the woman and she got up with a jolt.
She wasn't the only one feeling intimidated. Despite his boyish charm and appearance, everyone looked at him with fear. They silently whispered amongst each other. Some of them even began leaving the bar. The thought of having army officials in the bar scared them.
"You idiot, why did you feel the need to meet me in your uniform?" Naraygeous snarled at Shays.
"I'm sorry, I had no time to go back home to change." Shays explained and declined a beer from a waitress.
"How is Sharaina?" Naraygeous asked him, cutting to the chase.
Shays looked around and lowered his voice. "She is still hibernating in her dungeon cell. King Meelzib plans to banish her to the Dark Void under the bondage of the Luna beast. He wants her to suffer for all eternity for her treason. He says killing her will be an easy and light punishment." Shays explained.
"I will alert our comrades. She has to be gotten out of there at all costs." Naraygeous rubbed his chin.
"There is something else you have to know." Shays said and Naraygeous locked eyes with him. "It is about Lalina." He added.
"Has something happened to her?" Narageous asked concerned.
"King Meelzib has decided that she is to be his wife. As we speak, she has been locked up in the highest room at the castle."
"What?" Naraygeous widened his eyes astonished.
"He declared that she and he are no longer cousins." Shays added and leaned closer to Naraygeous. "There's more that you have to know."
"Hurry up and tell me." Naraygeous grew anxious.
"She was forced to have an abortion yesterday by commander Holan. No one knows who was responsible for her pregnancy. Sir, could it have been you?" Shays asked Naraygeous but Naraygeous look of distraught made it clear to him that he was in deed responsible. "I am sorry." Shays apologized.
"I have to get to her tonight." Naraygeous pushed his unopened beer aside. "You will get me to her."
Shays wanted to object but the seriousness on Naraygeous's face forced his shoulders to slump involuntarily. "Looks like I am going to be a wanted man before sunrise tomorrow." He said with a sigh.

Emelinia escorted her children to Sevilon's living room. Already waiting for her was Sevilon and his family. Emelinia kissed Nalvin on his forehead before finally surrendering him to Reena. Precious started to cry and Emelinia got down on her knees. She held back her tears and wiped Precious's tears.
"Mama, why are you sending me away?" Precious asked her and rubbed her eye.
"I am not sending you away. You are just going on holiday with aunt Reena and the boys." Emelinia lied. She couldn't bring herself to tell her the truth.
"Why aren't you coming with us mama?" Precious asked with a whimper.
"Mama has some work to do that's why I can't come." Emelinia explained. At least that wasn't a total lie. It was just half the truth.
"I want to go to papa. I miss him a lot. I want grandma, grandpa and aunt too." Precious cried even more. "Those bad men took them away didn't they? I know I am little mama but I can also see that everything is not okay."
Emelinia failed to hold her tears and she pulled Precious and hugged her. "Please I need you to go with aunt Reena. Everything will be okay."
"I don't want to leave you mama. I am scared."
Reena saw that Emelinia was struggling to say good bye to her daughter so she went to her aid. "Come on let's go Precious. I promise you that I will bring you and your brother back to your mother as soon as our little holiday is over."
"Go with her, child." Emelinia wiped her tears.
With a heavy heart she watched Reena leave with her children. Sevilon escorted them out while she turned her back and sobbed.
Nelex looked at Sevilon and Reena approach the carriage and he took off his hat. He and Geren had just finished drawing a teleportation circle beneath the carriage. Waxx and Quix were already in it feeling so excited about their holiday. The luggage was loaded onto a trailer at the back. Reena said good bye to Sevilon and got into the carriage with Precious and Nalvin. The two nannies she picked to go with her sat on top of the luggage.
Nelex and Geren sat on the rider's seats. While Geren was chanting teleportation spell, Nelex turned to Sevilon and said;
"Be rest assured that they will get there safely."
"Thank you so much." Sevilon replied with a nod.
"Don't mention it. We will see you at the next meeting." Nelex said and they vanished.
Sevilon got back into the mansion and caught Emelinia wiping her tears. A maid gave her water to drink and she thanked her. Emelinia took one look at Sevilon and sat down deep in thought.
"King Meelzib has just been told that you and Ouman are traitors. Don't go to your scheduled meeting with the Enchanted Seven." Emelinia warned him with a blank look.
"Ouman has to be warned too. Come on we have to leave now. Warriors should be on their way now to arrest me." Sevilon said trailed his hair with his fingers in stress.
Emelinia stood up. "They have just landed." The sound of dragons was heard.
Sevilon opened a portal and looked at his ten bowing servants. "All of you hurry up and get in." He ordered them and they run into the portal.
Emelinia got into the portal after the last servant. The warriors broke into the mansion and scattered everywhere in search for Sevilon. To their dismay and surprise, they found the mansion completely empty.
Sevilon, Emelinia and the servants appeared 5km away from his mansion. They watched the warriors destroy it in anger. When Sevilon saw enough, he turned to the servants.
"Go back to your homes. This is the end from me." He said to them with a stoic look.
"No commander, we have worked for you for as long as we can remember. Most of us have no homes to return to. Your home was our home. What will become of us out there?" One servant humbly asked him.
Emelinia scanned all of them and narrowed her eyes suspiciously to a man. "He is a spy." She said to Sevilon. "Everyone but he, is loyal to you."
"Lies!" The man shrieked. "I am not a spy. I am just a humble gardener."
"If that is so, why did you inform King Meelzib that commander Sevilon was home?" Emelinia asked him.
Sevilon activated his sword and the man screamed. Emelinia blocked him from striking the man.
"He is not worth it. You must leave now if you are to make it in time to save Ouman." Emelinia adviced Sevilon and he deactivated his sword. "I will take the remaining servants with me." She opened a portal and the servants started going into it. She turned to the traitorous servant and coldly told him. "I hope the 5000 pearls were worth it." She got into the portal and it closed.
Sevilon ignored the trembling man and opened a portal of his own. He appeared at Ouman's mansion and found it completely destroyed. Sevilon shook his head at Ouman who was panting and sweating on his roof. Beneath were bodies of the guards scattered all over his lawn. Ouman smiled at Sevilon and jumped off his roof.
"I came here to warn you. Clearly I was late." Sevilon said with a smirk.
"They burst into the house while I was in the toilet. That was so stupid of them." Ouman laughed.
"Come on we must leave." Sevilon smiled.

The day had passed and night came. Naraygeous rode in silence with Shays. He hid underneath the seat that Shays sat on. The security at the castle gate peeped in and when they convinced that Shays was alone, they opened the gates.
Shay's rider parked the carriage at the back of the castle as instructed. The rider opened the door for Shays and he stepped out. Shays looked around and when he saw that no one was looking, he punched the rider so hard that he blacked out. Shays then hid his body under the carriage.
"I really liked that rider." He lamented as he buttoned his sleeve.
"He'll forgive you." Naraygeous said as he got out of the carriage.
Naraygeous looked up and stared at the room that held Lalina hostage. Wait for me. I am coming. He thought to himself. "Come on, let's go." He covered his head with a hood.
"Yes sir." Shays responded.
Shays got into the castle first and found guards playing cards. Naraygeous hid behind the door - listening to him send the guards away. Once he heard that they had left, Naraygeous got in.
He followed Shays deep into the castle taking care to follow his instructions along the way. A guard saw Naraygeous and activated his weapon. He was about to alert the others when Naraygeous stabbed him in his mouth with his sword. Shays cringed at the sword protruding at the back of the guard's head.
"Oh my!" He said and held his chest. Naraygeous pulled his sword out with a crack sound and the guard fell hibernating on the ground. "Don't you think that was a bit much?" Shays asked him.
"Would you have preferred we got caught?" Naraygeous asked him back.
"Good point." Shays smiled mischievously. "Let's take the passage down the hall. It will take us to a stair case that will lead us to Lalina quickly."
Naraygeous followed Shays as they walked through the hall with their weapons out. When they heard guards coming, they feared that those guards were going to see the body of the fallen guard. This time, it was Shays who attacked them. Naraygeous shook his head at the three guards lying in a pool of blood with their throats slit.
"What?" Shays raised his shoulders.
"Don't ever rebuke me again." Naraygeous told him and Shays laughed softly.
When they got to the staircase, they ran up it as fast as they could. Now that they had left the bodies of four guards, it was only a matter of time before hundreds of guards came looking for them.
The guards standing guard outside Lalina's door where stunned to see them running towards them. They activated their weapons but they were hit by Naraygeous before they could even do anything.
Naraygeous pulled the keys out of one's pockets. He unlocked the door and he peeped in. The sight of Lalina sleeping on the bed with her back turned gave him peace. He gestured to Shays to get in and he did.
Naraygeous got in and closed the door behind him. The sound of them entering startled Lalina. She got up and picked the lamp that stood by her bed side. Her heart skipped a beat when she sensed Naraygeous.
"My love, is that you?" She asked with tears in her eyes.
Naraygeous took off his hood. "Yes it is I sweetness." He replied.
Lalina got off the bed and hugged him. Naraygeous held her tight as the both of them embraced each other. Shays raised his eyebrows at them when they started kissing each other. He turned away hoping that they would stop soon but they didn't.
Shays cleared his throat to remind them that they were not the only ones in the room. It still did not stop them and he shook his head again with his eyes closed. He heard the sound of guards coming up the stairs and cleared his throat louder. Naraygeous turned to him while Lalina glared at him.
"I don't mean to interrupt this rather pleasant reunion but guards are coming here. We have to leave."
"Oh yes we do." Naraygeous agreed. "You're the only one with the authorization to open a portal out of here." He pointed out to which Shays nodded his head.
"But of course sir." Shays smirked and opened one.
Lalina got into the portal first. The guards burst into the room. The portal closed in their faces just when they were about to strike Shays.
"Damn it, the king will kill us all for our incompetence." One guard complained.
"Oh no he won't! I am out of here." Another guard said and he opened a portal of his own. The remaining guards opened a portal and ran away from the castle. They decided that exiling themselves was a better fate than facing King Meelzib's wrath for having lost his bride.
