Chapter 90: Chapter 90
Two days had passed since Light was taken to the Hibernation Center and there was still no sign of Sharaina. No one knew where she went or how she was. Akirexer spent sleepless nights worrying about her to the point of it ruining her appetite. She wasn't the only one having problems in eating for everyone in Sharumez's household failed to eat properly.
Akirexer sat in silence with her head resting on her palm as she watched Emelinia pack food for Sharumez and Naian. Emelinia wrapped Nalvin on her back and Precious followed her outside with the basket of food. Alainara watched them leave through the window. She turned away and laid on her bed hugging her pillow.
Akirexer left the kitchen and went into the living room. She picked Light and Sharaina's wedding photo and her tears dropped. A lot of happiness was captured in the picture. Both Light and Sharaina were smiling ear to ear.
Akirexer had always hoped that Sharaina would have a happy ever after but fate decided that her hopes were too much. She thought back to when Naraygeous explained to them that it was King Meelzib who had attacked Light. She cried at the fact that King Meelzib attacked him for treating Sharaina.
The sudden sound of a bang startled her and she dropped the picture frame. It broke into pieces upon hitting the ground. Storming in where four soldiers. One went into the kitchen whereas two went upstairs to search the rooms.
The one who stayed behind with Akirexer approached her and activated his scythe. "Are you coming with us on your own free will or will I have to use force?" He sternly asked her.
"What is going on? What do you want?" Akirexer asked him, afraid.
"I have asked you a question ma'am. I will not ask you again." His mean eyes peered right through her.
Akirexer heard Alainara screaming suddenly. She was horrified to see her getting forced down the stairs by her hair. The man downstairs with Akirexer laughed softly.
"I can see that your daughter refused to come willingly. She is lucky that my subordinate is merciful. I would have done worse." He raised his scythe.
"There is no one in the kitchen." The one who went into the kitchen said.
The soldier raised his scythe at Akirexer. "I am still waiting for your answer."
"We will come with you. Please stop hurting my daughter." Akirexer answered in defeat.

Emelinia arrived at the work shop with her children. She found Sharumez and Naian working slowly with no enthusiasm whatsoever. She opened the basket in order to set the table and Naian helped her clear the wood off the table. The both of them worked in silence. Only the sound of Precious talking to Sharumez was heard.
Naian saw soldiers heading to the workshop through the window. Without thinking, he pulled Emelinia's hand and picked up Precious in his arms.
Sharumez didn't have to ask him why because as soon as Naian took them into their office, the soldiers burst into the shop. Sharumez raised his hands in surrender and they cuffed him.
Naian pulled down a large painting and behind it was a secret door. He opened it and forced Emelinia and his children into it. He was about to close it when Emelinia stopped him. She cried when he lovingly held her face.
Naian smashed his lips on Emelinia's and she pulled his collar for more. The noise forced Naian to pull away from her and she held onto his collar crying.
"I must go now Emelinia. Everything will be alright." Naian said to her but she shook her head in despair.
"No please don't leave us Naian. How will I raise these children on my own without you?" Emelinia begged him.
The soldiers started breaking the door and Naian panicked.
"I will come back to you I promise. For now, you must stay hidden with our children." He kissed her again.
"I love you." Emelinia said to him.
"I love you too." He answered and turned to Precious. "Be a good sister to your little brother." Naian painfully said to her.
"Papa..." Precious croaked and Naian hugged her.
"It's going to be okay." He assured her and wiped her tears with his thumbs.
Naian fought his tears as he closed the door to his grieving family. He put the painting back and the soldiers finally broke the door down. They dragged Naian out of the office and forcefully led him outside. Everyone watched in fear as Sharumez and Naian were forced on a dragon.
The dragons flew them into the Terror Hole that was filled with excited people cheering. Sharumez and Naian were shocked to see Akirexer and Alainara tied to poles. In no time they too were tied tightly to poles. They looked up to King Meelzib who sat on his seat with his legs crossed. Holan sat by his right side prouder than usual.
It looks like they were unable to find Sharaina. Umandaang said to King Meelzib.
"In deed they failed." King Meelzib got up and walked forward. With his hands raised he said. "My people, soon we will have a show that will be remembered for generations to come. Not so long ago I punished Sharaina for attacking my uncle, Commander Holan. She was able to survive due to the disobedience of one gamarax manipulator. I have already punished him. Right now I want to punish Sharaina severely for plotting to dethrone me! Treason is not condoned in this Kingdom therefore she will have to face the consequences."
"Treason? What is the King talking about?" Sharumez asked Naian, surprised.
"It was prophesized that Sharaina will be queen papa." Naian said and his words shocked his family.
"I have been finding it difficult to hunt her down. I tried trapping her by attacking her traitor of a husband but he blocked her from finding him. So today I am going to go for the next best thing." He said and grinned evilly at Sharaina's family.
A guard approached Akirexer and got a handful of her hair. She pulled it as hard as she could and Akirexer screamed. That angered Sharumez and Naian but frightened Alainara.
"Get your hands off her!" Sharumez sternly said to the guard.
"Oh she will not!" King Meelzib thundered. His scowl relaxed into a smirk. "Well you see; a natural mark is formed between a darkas god and their family. The mark is stronger between a mother and her children so hurting your wife is the best way to get your useless witch of a daughter here." King Meelzib broke out laughing.
The guard gave Akirexer a hard kick with her knee and she screamed. Sharaina felt it and she got up. She was mourning Light alone in the dimension she discovered when she felt a tight pain in her chest.
Sharaina recognized the feeling and began to feel restless. The guard slapped Akirexer hard that blood splattered out of her mouth angering Sharumez and Naian even more and they yelled at the guard.
Sharumez was met with a punch in the jaw and an iron bar to the stomach. Naian was stabbed by a knee and punched underneath his chin. Alainara cried helplessly at everything.
A portal appeared at King Meelzib grinned. Sharaina stepped out and was shocked to see her family except Alainara beaten and bleeding. She was even more shocked to see them in the Terror hole. She looked up to King Meelzib and he raised his wine glass at her.
"It is so nice of you to finally show up Sharaina. I can see you are still in your mourning clothes. What a pity." He mockingly said to her.
"Your majesty, what is all this? What have my family done against you?" Sharaina asked him.
"Absolutely nothing at all. It is you that has wronged me - you and that foolish husband of yours."
"Why are you so hell bent on seeing me dead my King. Was it not you I served while I was in your army?" She asked him. "I served you honestly and diligently."
"You also attacked my uncle viciously and disobeyed orders." King Meelzib sipped on his wine.
"I still regret what I did to this day my King. Please have mercy and forgive me. Do not take your anger out on my family for they are innocent." Sharaina humbly pleaded with her hands together.
King Meelzib laughed. "You are very strange Sharaina. You seem to care so much about your family but where was your care when you plotted against me in order to take the throne?"
Sharaina was shocked at his words.
There is still one that can stop him.
Really? Who is this person you speak of?
You. The conversation that she had with Emelinia rang in her mind.
You will make a great queen. Light's words played after.
Sharaina thought back to how King Raglan looked at her before he died. Meelzib, one day you will fall so hard that you will never rise up again. King Raglan's last words sounded in her head.
I can't believe that I haven't found her yet!
Don't worry my King; we are doing all we can to find her. King Meelzib's conversation with commander Luven echoed.
The missing girls were all blonde, tall and not of age warrior darkas gods. Sharaina thought to herself. "I am the one King Meelzib has been looking for this whole time." She felt weak in her knees at her realization.
Sharaina looked up to King Meelzib and got down on her knees. She put her hands together. "My King, not once have I ever thought of taking the throne away from you. I have been living my life this whole time content with what I had."
"Why should I believe you? You tried to assassinate me in my own castle and you tricked me into training you just so you could get stronger at my own disadvantage. Your lies will not work."
"I did none of those things." Sharaina tried to explain.
"Silence! Where are the gamarax manipulators?" He ordered and four gamarax manipulators came rushing into the Terror Hole. They started drawing one large teleportation circle underneath Sharaina's family.
Sharaina's eyes grew wide when she realized what was happening. "Please don't do this my King. Take me instead. I surrender myself to you as your prisoner. I beg of you please do not send my family away."
King Meelzib raised his hand and the gamarax manipulators stopped. He gestured for a guard to bound Sharaina in manite shackles and chains. Once she was totally bound, King Meelzib gestured to the gamarax manipulators to continue. Sharaina was astonished to see them still preparing to teleport them.
"I want them teleported to a place best known by you." He said to the gamarax manipulator that was to carry out the teleportation.
"No please don't do this." Sharaina begged but she was roughly thrown to the ground. She helpless looked at her family. "Mama...papa..." She cried.
"Looks like we are to leave you too my child." Sharumez softly said to her.
"Always know that we will forever love you." Akirexer emotionally said to her.
"No please don't speak like this." Sharaina cried and crawled to them on her belly.
"I believe that you will come out victorious Sharaina. This may be the end for us but it is just the beginning for you." Naian lovingly said to her with a painful smile.
"I don't want that beginning if it means losing everyone I hold dear to my heart." Sharaina refused as her tears poured.
"I love you so much big sister. I am sad that this is the end." Alainara cried.
"Alainara," Sharaina desperately continued to crawl but she was kicked away.
"Queen Sharaina." Sharumez said with pride.
"Queen Sharaina." Akirexer added with a teary smile.
"Queen Sharaina." Naian and Alainara said together with smiles of their own.
Sharaina's family disappeared before her eyes. They were gone. She could no longer sense their presence. King Meelzib gestured to the guards in the hole and they activated their weapons. A dragon appeared and it spit natrifin on their weapons. The guards then proceeded to violently kill the gamarax manipulators - chopping them into bloody pieces to the crowd's amusement.
King Meelzib laughed. "Now no one knows where they have been exiled."
Sharaina bowed down and buried her head in her arms. The guards approached her so as to take her away when they felt an abnormal surge of energy.
The ground beneath Sharaina began to shake rapidly and huge cracks were created. The guards fell down and used their weapons as support. Sharaina stood up with her beaming red eyes. The sight of her scared the living hell out of Holan and he dashed out.
King Meelzib was taken aback to see Sharaina's berserk mode. He looked at her take one step forward and one large crack was formed and it ran all the way to where people sat in the arena.
People screamed as they tried to escape. The more steps Sharaina took, the more the arena crumbled. Their quest to escape unharmed caused a stampede. The people trampled on each other while the arena collapsed.
Guards couldn't get close to Sharaina because they fell down paralyzed at the weight of her gamarax. Sharaina started running towards King Meelzib and the arena completely collapsed sending all the people present into immediate hibernation.
King Meelzib backed away when he saw her lunge at him. For the first time in his life he felt confused and afraid. Sharaina was about to grab his face when aerial warriors threw their swords at her.
Not one sword missed her. They all pierced through her body making her look like a pin cushion. Sharaina's eyes went back to normal and she fell hard at King Meelzib's feet. Life left her eyes and she went unconscious with them staying open. Tears trickled down her eyes and onto the ground.
