Chapter 51: Chapter 51
Joanna's POV
"Holy-"
"Oh my-"
"Fvck!"
"Wow!" They all exclaimed at the same time, except Tenda who stood, grinning like a proud mom as she watched their reactions.
"I look beautiful I know." I smiled and twirled stylishly.
"No offense to Frank but if you were mine I would so do you." Ifeanyi groaned.
"Who said he hasn't?" I questioned in a smirk.
"Wooo!" Blake exclaimed in a laugh while Tony frowned.
"That's my girl!" Tenda spoke, before giving me a high five.
"Oh GOD." Harmony gagged, as his face slightly turned green.
"My lil sister is not so little anymore," Blake voiced out, sniffing.
Tony just facepalmed at this the exact instant Ifeanyi held a proud grin on his face and muttered a "That's why he's my cousin, we get things done."
"Okay that's enough dirty talk for one day, lets all get going," Tenda instructed in a commanding tone, that made me send her an appreciative smile in return.
"Yeah, time to go clubbing!" Ifeanyi exclaimed enthusiastically.
"What?"
"How?"
"In the afternoon?" They all inquired dumbfounded expressions on their faces.
"You just confirmed to us how big of an idiot you are," I added in a laugh, thus shutting him up as he tried to protest.
Tenda then gave him an *I don't want to hear you whine* look as she suggested we go to the park.
"The park?" I asked, an eyebrow raised. "You dressed me up like this just to go to the park?"
She just shrugged, smiling innocently in reply to my question before Tony raised his hand, indicating he wanted to say something.
"How about we eat first and decide what next later," Tony uttered after I gave him a nod that said *speak*
I beamed in approval at his opinion as I thought of how he knew that I was extra hungry, seeing that I hadn't had a decent meal in days apart from ice cream and cookies.
"Yeah." Harmony grinned, "I'm hungry, lets go to an eatrie."
"No," Blake disagreed. "We should go to a cute restaurant."
"Isn't that what I just implied?" Harmony contested, scowling.
"No, you recommended an eatrie while I said restaurant," Blake spoke with a challenging stare as he wanted to rile Harmony up.
"Eatrie, restaurant, what's the difference, they all serve food," Ifeanyi blurted, in a confused manner.
"Ifeanyi," Tenda called before she walked over to place her palms on his shoulder. "Please, shut up."
"But, but--" He complained.
"Please," I sighed, frustrated. "Just shut up, all of you. Let us go to a restaurant like Blake said but also in a private angle where no one can see me wolf down my food like an animal."
"You got it, sister." Tony ratified with a grin as he high-fived me.
"And, after that, we go to the park to still eat more food and have fun," I continued, to which Tenda fist-pumped the air.
"Lastly," I spoke before I took a dramatic pause. "We go clubbing and shake some booty." I ended.
"Add that to playing, spin the bottle later at my house," Ifeanyi voiced out gleaming.
"Will Frank be there?" I asked out of caution.
"Do you want him to be?" Ifeanyi polled insinuatingly.
"Hell no." I chuckled, "I wanna get drunk in peace."
"Well, I'll make sure he won't be then." He bobbed his head.
"Are you sure?" I implored while I eyed him warily.
"Yes." He smirked, "Now do we have a deal?"
"We sure do, my good man," I voiced in a Spanish accent, and extended my arm for a handshake that he shook and squealed afterward. If I'm not mistaken his actual words were,
"Fun? Here we come!"
I snorted as they all filed out of my house with a chant of *Fun Fun Fun*
And fun was what we had. The day went as planned.
We first wolfed down our food in a private area of a cute restaurant.
We then played and rolled around on the ground at the park. Yes, we literally rolled on the ground, and later we watched the sunset over tubs of ice cream.
Permit me to also tell you we went to the club after that, with ice cream stains on our clothes, dust on our hairs, plus rumpled clothes.
After receiving shocking glances from people at the club which we ignored, by the way, we then partied so hard that I think I almost got fvcked by a stranger if Ifeanyi hadn't dragged my hair and pulled me off the guy.
He did this while I screamed bloody murder at him though I later quietened down after my hair was released from his grasp.
We were all madly drunk to the extent of not knowing how we all got back from the club and arrived at Ifeanyi's house safely, without a scratch.
Though if you ask me I could remember being in a moving car and I was sure I was hauled, together with Tenda into the house, before the rest followed, swaying on their feet. Afterward, we were all given water to drink.
Who did that? I asked myself in thought as I lay sprawled on what I guessed was Ifeanyi's living room rug.
I could have bet my last dime that it was a guy.
He was tall, lean, sharp jawed, chocolate skinned--
Wait wait, hold up, why hadn't I realized this sooner? I pondered after I came to terms with the truth that it was Frank.
It was surely him, but the fact Ifeanyi had said he wouldn't be at his place confused me to the point where I groaned as my head began pounding.
"What, what!" Harmony exclaimed frantically after he heard me mutter curse words under my breath as the pounding in my head increased.
"How, the hell--" Tenda started but got cut off by Tony as he grumbled beside her.
"Is this not my house?" Ifeanyi's confused voice asked before continuing, "I was sure we were at the club a few seconds ago when I was dragging Jo off that guy, so how are we here?"
"Francis," I whispered, as I forgot they wouldn't get me in their drunken state as I called him Francis personally and also called him Frank when referring to him.
"What?" Tenda polled, confirming my speculations.
"Frank," I mumbled, this time a bit louder.
"Oh, how?" Tony slurred, still butt ass drunk.
"I can vividly remember being in a moving car with you guys and being given water afterward," I responded.
"But, how are you sure it's him," Blake voiced out while he rubbed his forehead in a bid to reduce the headache I guess was forming as mine did.
"She remembers everything." Harmony blurted as he sat up.
"How?" Tony questioned, still confused.
Harmony grinned at this before he spoke. "After the acci--" He started but halted as a sudden expression flashed through his eyes.
"After the what?" I interrogated, wanting to know what he was about to say.
"Uhm, yeah." He coughed nervously and turned away from me to glance at the others. "Tenda, you remember the other time you were drunk with her? The first time she met Frank."
"Oh, yes yes, she remembered everything clearly." Tenda nodded with a grin.
"Yeah." He gave an uneasy smile. "So she remembers everything that happens when she's drunk."
"Okay," I answered hesitantly not believing him as I peered at their frightened faces except Tenda who looked clueless like me.
