Chapter 33: Chapter 33
Joanna's POV
Harmony laughed this time but didn't look back, which was a mistake on his part thus the next thing he acknowledged was my weight on him before we both crashed to the ground.
"What the f---" He clamored and didn't finish what he was about to say due to my hand that grabbed his left cheek and twisted it.
"Please stop bestie, stop! I'm sorry," He cried in a muffled tone in regards to my fingers that still held his left cheek.
"You thought you could steal my food and get away with it huh? You of all people should know better." I scoffed and yanked it a bit harder.
"I'm so sorry, it won't happen again I promise." He winced.
"Now say it and hand me back my food," I commanded and gave him a don't try me look
"I love you bestfriend, you're the best girl ever," He rushed out in one breath. I then released his cheek and he handed back the food bag to me.
"Thank you," I smirked and got off him after I had retrieved the food and walked over to a shocked Frank.
"Did you--, did you just tackle down a nineteen-year-old dude?" He quizzed in a stutter.
"Shhh, don't stress yourself, bro, you'll get used to it," Ifeanyi spoke and chuckled at his shocked stance.
"Yup." Tony nodded, "Just don't steal her food, if not, you're screwed."
"True that." Harmony groaned as he finally hurled himself up from the floor. "I forgot how scary she could be when it comes to her food."
I beamed in response to that and whirled to Frank. "So what's up?" I questioned but got no answer as he still stood frozen, his eyes focused on the spot where I attacked Harmony.
"Hello!" I called and waved my right palm in his face after I took a bite of my Sharwama.
"That was, hot!" He moaned, a lustful look in his eyes that sent goosebumps running down my arms before his lips crashed down again on mine for the third time that morning.
"I'd love you to tackle me like that in bed soon," He whispered lowly in my ear as he lightly nipped my earlobe.
"Did I hear him say that was hot?" Harmony asked, dumbfounded.
"That's how lovers think my dear." Tenda laughed and patted him on the back.
"So any plans for today?" Frank polled, a smile on his lips as his arms rested on my waist.
"Nope." I grinned, forgetting what Harmony had told me earlier about hanging out.
"How about we chill and cuddle each other, let's say my place?" He invited, a wary expression on his face as he thought I would decline.
I smirked and nodded. "Your place it is."
"I thought we were hanging out." Harmony grumbled, which made me snap my eyes away from Frank to lend him a pleading stare.
"Get a girlfriend bro." Tenda laughed but shut up after I bestowed her a glare.
"How about we meet up tomorrow hmm?" I pleaded my puppy dog eyes in place.
"Fine!" He sighed, followed by a small smile and a nod of approval in my direction. "I guess that's what happens when your two bestfriends are dating."
"We ain't even dating yet," Frank and I voiced out.
"Shut up!" Everyone yelled back at us, some with eye-rolls, while others scoffed.
"Students! go to class." The principal barked at us and other students who still stood in the hallway. Doing her bid we all scrambled around to head to our various classes.
"So by four pm?" Frank inquired as he held me behind.
"Yes." I grinned and offered him a chaste kiss before I rushed to my class while Ifeanyi grabbed his hand and sneaked him back out the way he was brought in.

After school had ended for the day, I found myself in front of Frank's beautiful house.
It was a two-storied wide building which had two golden pillars that connected both the veranda of the ist floor and the one of the second floor. The down one had a much wider veranda than the other two as it was half the breadth of the house itself.
The structure was decorated with beautiful flowers all around it and dim blue lights on its walls. If not for Fahvour who had described the direction of their home to me during school hours after I had sent her a sos, I would have gotten myself lost.
You may ask why I didn't ask Ifeanyi as he was Frank's cousin or ask Frank himself, but the truth was that I was sorta embarrassed that I had no idea where my crush and possibly the love of my life lived.
So, I then stood at the front door that was situated in the downstairs porch after the gateman had let me in when I described myself and told him whom I wanted to see.
While I waited for someone to open the door I glanced around me, taking note of the deep red plush lounge chairs that were placed nicely in the balcony and the shiny golden painted walls which matched the white exterior of the building.
I knocked again, after which I decided to sit a bit on one of the lounge chairs as my feet were killing me at the time hence I had hiked all the way here from school because I didn't have much transport money on me and a certain someone who was supposed to walk me here ditched me for her boyfriend, also I didn't want Frank to come to pick me up.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I nearly got a mini heart attack when I heard the door open.
"Sorry?" A female voice polled. This shocked me out of my skin thus I hadn't expected a slightly tall, beautiful 40+-year-old woman with fair skin, a pointed nose, and plump lips that were painted a light pink color and eyes the same as Frank's to be the one to open the door.
She looked stunning and kind of intimidating in an intricately designed kaftan gown with soft human hair weavon and flawless makeup.
"S- so- sorry, good evening ma." I stuttered after I had regained my voice.
"Mom! I said I would get it," A voice which I assumed was Frank's groaned before it got confirmed as he came to stand behind her, shirtless with a white towel wrapped low around his waist.
My mouth dropped open in shock as I stared at his defined muscles, down to his six-pack which had water droplets on them that ran slowly and disappeared behind the towel.
"Hey, Ana." Frank grinned an amused tinge in his eyes, already recognizing the effect he had on me.
"Umm," I cleared my throat. "Hey, Francis."
"Wait, Francis?" His mom questioned which made me recall she was there with us as I had forgotten about her presence.
"Why is she calling you that? I thought I was the only one who called you by that name." She asked, appearing confused while he just shrugged in response as I blushed a little.
"Except, except, wait." She continued. "You called her Ana that mean she's, oh my God!" She squealed, as in literally squealed and may I tell you it was scary.
I think Frank must have agreed with me because the expression he was wearing was priceless, which I didn't blame him for, as seeing your mom acting like a total teenager could do certain things to a person.
"Mom, don't do that, again." He sighed.
"Shhh." She shushed him before she turned to me.
"Joanna my dear, its been so long!" She grinned and tugged me in for an embrace.
"Hey," I said awkwardly and tried my best to return her hug thus I was a little lost for words at how she knew my real name. For all I know Frank called me Ana not Joanna, and what exactly did she mean by only her calls him Francis except someone, except who?
My thoughts were cut short as Frank dragged me into the house and waved his mom goodbye.
I gave him a questioning look and asked "Where is she going?"
"Out." He shrugged as he shut the door. "I think dad planned something special for her."
"Awwwwn, that's so cute." I smiled.
"Not awwn, it's gross." He shivered.
"How is it gross?" I laughed in a query.
"Think about your mom and dad that way and tell me." He scoffed.
"Okay gross." I gagged, "Can I just unsee that?"
He chuckled at my response and lifted me up, till my legs were wrapped around his waist.
"Besides if they were here, I won't be able to do this." He smirked and lowered his head so his lips could meet mine in a kiss.
"Yesss!" I moaned as our lips collided.
"Ah hem!" A deep throat cleared scaring us.
