I locked myself inside the bathroom while looking at the five pregnancy test kits that Castiel bought earlier.

I already got its result and it all showed the same thing. And I am overwhelmed with the emotions that I am feeling right now.

I do have a plan to conceive another child if Enver agrees because I really want Millie to have a sibling. But I didn’t expect that heaven would immediately answer my desire.

Yes, I am pregnant. The five test kits in front of me showed positive signs.

“Milan!” Ferry shouted outside the door. “Your husband is here. And your maids already told him that you have been locking yourself up inside there. So, don’t be shocked if he tries to destroy this door.”

I grabbed two of the test kits and opened the door. At the same time, Enver also entered the room with concern in his eyes.

“What is happening here?” he asked. He came to me but before he could hold me, I immediately showed him the result of the one test kit.

He frowned as he looked at that but didn’t say a word.

I also gave the other one to my friends and a smile formed on their lips after they saw the result.

“Shit! You sure know what to do, Andrius!” They tapped Enver’s shoulder who still hadn't said anything.

He was still staring at the test kit in front of him. He was also not showing any kind of emotion so I am starting to get nervous.

“Hey…” I called him. “Say something.

He slowly turned his eyes on me and took a deep breath. “You… are you pregnant?”

I nodded. “I think it is already a month old or so. It must be the reason why I was always sleepy these past few days, even at work.”

“Should we cancel your dinner later?” Castiel asked. “I am sure that your in-laws will only give you stress and it is not good for your situation.”

I looked at them. “My condition has changed but I will not cancel that dinner. So, to ease your mind, you can join us.”

I am sure that they will worry for me, especially since I am not just by myself anymore. I will just have to explain to my in-laws why I also invited my friends over.

I don’t want to cancel that dinner because I know that everyone is looking forward to that. Don Emil and Madame Venice were already excited about that. Millie was also excited to meet her grandparents.

“If that is what you want.” They messed my hair up and tapped Enver’s shoulder again. “Then, congrats to our baby number two.” And then, they gave us privacy by leaving the room.

We are now alone in our room but it looks like Enver still couldn’t process the news that I told her.

He carefully guided me to sit in bed and knelt in front of me while holding my hands. And when he lifted his head to look at me, that is when I saw he was already crying.

“En…”

“I don’t know what good thing I did to become so blessed by heaven,” he said. “I was already lucky when you married me. Then, Millie added to our life, and now, we got blessed by another angel in our life.”

I couldn’t hold my tears back.

This is unexpected but I can see that we are both happy with this.

“I will make it up to you, Mi.” He kissed my hands. “I couldn’t be with you when you conceived Millie that is why I will make it up to you for our second angel. I will do everything for you and our kids.”

I smiled and wiped his tears/

“I will protect you from anything or anyone who will try to harm you,” he added. “I will take care of you.”

I laughed. “I am sure that this pregnancy is not complicated like the first time. So please don’t overdo it, okay?”

He shook his head. “I can’t promise you that.”

“En…”

“Let me do it, wifey.” He caressed my cheeks. “Let me spoil you. This is one of the rare opportunities for me to give you everything I want without you refusing.”

I chuckled. He really knows what I am going to do.

“Fine. I will let you do what you want.” I pulled him and let him sit beside me. “I will make an appointment with my OB-GYN for a blood test and ultrasound. I also need a prescription for my vitamins.”

“I will come with you,” he immediately said. “Just tell me when, okay?”

“Of course,” I said. “And since we have this unexpected news, I guess I also have to give up my position at Raiden. This pregnancy might not be complicated but I still need to step away from any kind of stress so I decided to stop working.”

I think I saw his face lightened up when I was the one who suggested that. He sighed in relief and smiled at me. “I was thinking of asking you about that. I am not really comfortable, knowing that you will keep working even though you are pregnant. Especially when most of the time, you shoulder some workloads that you aren't supposed to do, just to finish the task as soon as possible.”

“I am aware of that,” I said. “That is why I came up with this idea because I know you will not force me to do something I don’t want to. And to ease your mind, I will stop working and only take care of myself, Millie, and our baby.”

He hugged me and kissed my head. “What about dinner later?” he asked. “We can’t really cancel that?”

I slightly pushed him away and glared at him. I know that he was just worried about my condition but I already said that we would not cancel that dinner.

He sighed and pulled me close to him again. “Fine. We will hold that dinner. Just don’t stress yourself later, okay?” He hugged me tight again.

I nodded and buried my face on his neck.

I always liked how he smelled. His natural scent, even without perfume, is what I always look for. But I think I will look for it even more now that I am pregnant.

“Mi…” He called me. “I just got home and sweat a lot so don’t sniff my neck.”

“You smell good, hubby.” I wrapped my arms around his neck to make sure he wouldn't get away from me. “I really loved your scent.”

“Damn!”

“Hey!” I shushed him. “No bad words in front of me, okay? Especially once my tummy gets bigger. The baby will hear those words.”

“But you are making me feel something by doing that,” he protested.

“But I really like your scent,” I whispered. “You said you would spoil me, right?”

To be honest, when I was pregnant with Millie, I often craved Enver's scent and face. But since I was mad at him, I only looked at his photos that I had on my phone back then and sniffed the perfume that he used.

I even made Ferry or Castiel buy me a lot of it just to satisfy my conception since that was the only way I had.

And there were times that I gave them tantrums because they forgot to buy me one and I couldn’t sniff Enver’s scent even just for a little while.

I think that is probably the reason why even though he was not with me at the time of my pregnancy, everything in Millie is a carbon copy of him.

“Let’s just stay like this for a while,” I said and kept my face buried in his neck. “After that, I will continue sniffing you tomorrow.” I giggled as I heard him sigh.

Sorry, hubby. My pregnancy will not be complicated but it will surely be a weird one.
