“So? What are our plans now?” Enver asked while helping me button my polo. “We are okay, right? I want to make it up to all the days that we were apart so please come back here and live with me again.”

“Are you kidding me?” I exclaimed. “This house is a three-hour drive to your office. Are you going to spend your whole day working and traveling?”

“I can get a place nearby?” He started giving me puppy looks just to convince me to move with him again.

I sighed. “I have a contract for the apartment that I am renting right now,” I said. “I can’t just walk away from that. Besides, I still need to run my business. It is not that much but it helps me survive those five years. I can’t just abandon it just because we got back together.”

Aside from that, I still haven’t found a single idea of how I will introduce Millie to him. I don’t know what might his reaction be once they see each other.

“Then, I can only be with you at Raiden?” Sadness filled his eyes. I know that he had been holding himself up just to give me all the time that I needed before to think. And he is hoping to spend more time with me, now that we were okay.

“Well, I can stay over to your condo once in a while.” He has a condominium unit not far from Raiden but it is not that big since he also rarely uses it. Most of the time, he stayed in his office and sleep there. “And just so you know, I am thinking of staying at Raiden as one of our secretaries.”

His eyes widened. “What?”

I nodded and smiled at him.”Finding a new secretary will be a long process and since I don’t have any reason to leave anymore, I decided to stay and help you with your company.”

“Then, why don’t we buy a new house near Raiden?” he asked. “There is an exclusive subdivision not that far from the company, right? I think that is also where Ferry and Castiel are staying. And you once had planned on buying a house there when you were still in college.”

“You know what?” I kissed him on his lips. “Let’s just chill for a while, okay? And enjoy the presence of each other every day. We still need to sort some things out in our lives because five years changes a lot of things in us.”

“But..”

“Or you can stay over at my place once in a while.”

The sadness in his eyes immediately fade away as soon as I mentioned that. “Really?”

I nodded. “I also want to show you the things that changed in my life but let’s take it easy for now,” I said. “I am not going away anymore.”

“Then, let me sleep over at your apartment next weekend.”

I was secretly relieved by that because it gives me enough time to prepare everything before introducing them to each other. Well, I also planned on taking him to my apartment on weekends because that is when Millie’s birthday celebration.

And I am sure, Millie will be happy to know that she will be able to see and be with his father sooner than we both expected. It will be my birthday gift to her.

Though I am just hoping that Enver will feel the same.

Now that it is clear to me that he didn’t cheat on me and he was just framed by his father, everything that I have been thinking about him before changed. But the fear about him not wanting to accept Millie is still here.

Because ever since we got married, he never mention wanting to have a child. And whenever I asked him about it, he immediately changed the subject.

At first, it doesn’t really bother me since I also haven’t thought of carrying a child. But I am still curious whether he wants to have a child or not.

“Sure, you can stay over at my place this weekend.” I pulled him outside the house and get inside the car. “For now, take me home to my apartment because I need to take care of my business, okay?”

Raiden is closed for the whole day because I am sure, everyone at the party still has a hangover so we will let them rest for today. But since Enver is used to working even on weekends, he will go to his office and take care of some of the papers that he needs to sign.

Those are important documents that we need by morning so I didn’t stop him. And I can’t help him because I need to take care of Millie.

“Okay, wifey.” He started the engine and drove the car. And whenever his hand is not holding the clutch, he always took my hand and hold it tight.

“Oh.” I looked at him. “I still have one question for you.”

He frowned but his eyes were fixed to the driveway. “What is it?”

“Before filing the divorce, I went back to the house to check on you,” I said. “And I saw you talking to a long-haired woman who is pregnant. And I saw you happily caressing her baby bump.”

“A pregnant woman?”

I nodded. “That is the main reason why I decided to hide from you. I thought that woman was the reason why you cheated on me and you got her pregnant.”

“What the hell?” He looked at me unbelievably. “Seriously?”

I nodded again. “Yes.”

“And you didn’t bother to look at her face?”

I shook my head. “Can you blame me?” I retorted. “I was still in pain that time because of what I saw in your phone so do you think I would waste my time looking at the woman whom I thought you choose over me?”

He slapped his forehead and pull the car over at the side of the road. Then he turned to me. “I know that I can’t blame you for that,” he said. “But I wished you look at her face so you would know that it was Monique.”

My eyes widened. “W-what? That was Monique?”

That woman is his half-sister. It is older than him and their mother gave birth to her in her teens. Enver’s father, together with his sisters, can’t accept her so only a couple of people knew about her.

But she is close to Enver. In fact, she always visited us and sleep over at our house so we also got close to each other.

“Do you remember when he only called us but never visited us personally, which is unusual for her?” he said and I nodded in response. “She had a one-night stand with some dude and got her pregnant. Then, she chose to give birth to the baby alone but her body is not that strong so she choose to tell me everything and asked for my help since she can’t do some work while she was still pregnant.”

“Oh my god!” What have I done? “I was too blinded by pain and fear that made me think that she is your mistress.”

Shit! Guilt was consuming me because of the time that Millie and Enver should have together. And I can sense there is a possibility that Enver will get mad at me once he learns about our daughter.
