Chapter 89: Chapter 89
CHAPTER THIRTY TWO
Hanisha's eyes flashed silver, focusing and observing every movements the mirror reflected. Her eyes searched every corner of the place through the mirror, and listens to the words that was emitted from the mirror. She was watching the Taehyung, Hoseok and Jimin having a conversation about Seokjin's child.
A while ago, she found herself in a little bit panic when Jimin suddenly attacked Taehyung with a hug, and closed to bursting out the truth. Though Taehyung and Hoseok found it confusing, they asked Jimin about it and received a demented expression from the younger Duke.
Hence, that's why she pulled a spell twist on Taehyung and Hoseok's tongue to divert Jimin's attention, and it succeeded well enough. They ended up having a conversation about the mission, and Seokjin's child instead of talking about what happened the past three months. And also, Jimin ended up staying in the wolf territory for a few weeks or a month.
A smirk found its way to her luscious lips, and frown replaced with a sinister grin at the victory. "That's good that you aren't coming back, Jimin."
Her eyes fixed on the black haired man that she missed so much, but she wouldn't risk being seen by him. She knew that Jimin would recognise her immediately.
"Park Jimin." Her seductive voice resonated the entire room, fingertips tapping the one sided mirror that created a waving flow movement once it was touched. "You won't ruin everything for me, right?"
Pressing her lips into thin line, a suppressed wicked laugh was released from her lips resulting the entire room echoing after her. But it all disappeared when her eyes caught the sudden appearance of the lady who was coming out from someone's room with Yoongi by her side.
"Who is that?" Furrowing her eyebrows, a confused look plastered on her face as she glanced at the lady who has a silk mask over her mouth. She took a step black, startled when the mirror swiftly flashed the image of the ring that she was trying to find.
A snort left her mouth when she realised that the image of the ring on the mirror indicates that the ring must be nearby. And that the one who was holding the ring is somehow near her, witnessing the scene unfolding in front of him with wide eyes.
With a graceful swift of her hand, the mirror turned back to its normal small shape. "You will be the only thing that would prove that I am the next Queen."
She smiled at herself through the mirror, eyes quickly shifting it to the side showing a Duke’s reflection. Seokjin's eyes widened, rapidly moved his head away, and trying to hide behind the closed door. He was petrified at what he witnessed, and too terrified to let Hanisha caught him from sneaking.
And he doesn't even know that him peeking over has Hanisha’s eyes widened in surprise, the entire situation.
Jimin dragged his brother back to the room as he pushed him to the bed making Yoongi stumbled back, jerking his head towards his brother, and was left baffled by his little brother's behaviour. The younger raised his eyebrows, eyeing his brother's flustered face.
"What?" Yoongi's forehead wrinkled in confusion as he mirrored his expression as well.
Jimin crossed his arms over his chest, index finger tapping the flesh of his skin, waiting for his elder brother to speak as he listens. "Well?"
"Well what?"
"How did you and Taehyung knows each other?" The Duke asked, expression turned into a frown. "As if you've known each other a long time ago."
Yoongi retorted, rolling his eyes as he sat at the edge of the bed, and interlocking his fingertips together. He sighed. "Let's just say we had a short conversation back then."
FLASHBACK
Taehyung's eyes were dark red, fangs revealed as he eyed his prey for tonight who was flabbergasted, and unable to fight like a man and a wolf should.
"How did you know Ha Na?" Yoongi weakly asked, flinching and wincing as he tried to get up from his position with blood was dripping down his lips, and his nose bleeding heavily.
"Let's just say she managed to catch my eyes that night." The king snickered, shooting a death glare at the beta.
Yoongi's eyebrows furrowed, amused by the sight he was seeing with Taehyung getting ready to attack him at any minute. An exasperation groan left Yoongi's bloody lips as he tried stand on his elbow but was stopped when Taehyung pushed him back, stepping on his chest with parts of broken ribs making him shrieked in pain.
"You like that?" Taehyung smirked, making Yoongi cursed incoherent mumbles, and the king finds it as a way for him to satisfy himself for today.
"F-Funny how you stole both brother's love of their life." Yoongi blurted out, mumbling, stammering and unclear.
"What?" Taehyung didn't quite hear it despite having a great hearing ability, and the beta was glad about it as he doesn't want to reveal his brother's identity of having the side of a wolf.
The King locked gazes with Yoongi who has his back laying flat on the floor with the vampire's foot still positioned at the center of his chest.
"First," Yoongi hissed, feeling Taehyung's foot putting pressure on his torso. "Y-You stole Hanisha from Jimin."
Taehyung looked at him, baffled. "And now you stole my Ha Na."
"What are you—" Before Taehyung could ever continue, he was stumbled down when Yoongi gripped his leg and flipping him.
Nonetheless, with Yoongi's weak strength, Taehyung managed to pull the beta away from him before attacking him with full force causing the beta to land straight across the room with his head completely smashed on the wall.
Taehyung's quick speed had him follow Yoongi, clasping his right hand around the wolf's neck before he could slide down to the ground, and lifting him up in the air.
"If I ever see you interact with her," Taehyung growled, eyes got darker shade of red and tightening his hands around. "I won't hesitate to kill you, or those around Ha Na."
Let's just say that Taehyung didn't have the guts to kill Yoongi that night because he is someone special to Ha Na.
And Yoongi was saved by Caroline that same night.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Hyung!" Jimin whined, clinging on his brother's arm who was trying to get away from him, not wanting to answer the younger's questions.
The half breed has been forcing his elder brother to speak about how he encountered Taehyung, and how did they know each other because as far as he remembered, they didn't even met before.
Taehyung didn't get the chance to even meet Yoongi before because Jimin was afraid that Taehyung might hate him for being in a werewolf family, not knowing that his best friend is a full blood sucking monster. Yes, Jimin did mention about Taehyung to his brother but never got the chance to see each other.
Jimin frowned, storming out as the guard called for him to speak a goodbye with Taehyung before they leave the territory.
