Chapter 115: Chapter 115
CHAPTER FIFTY SEVEN
"Wait inside the palace in the indoor garden." Namjoon's voice hoarse on the other line as the Princess nodded before hanging up, speeding towards the garden inside the palace.
Her heart dropped, realising the place somehow looked familiar before her eyes landed at the massive window situated on the walls between the bedroom and the indoor garden.
It was Ha Na's room.
"I miss Ha Na so much." Her eyes became teary as she tried to control her emotions, blinking the sting salty water forming on her eyes. "I hope that Seokjin buried her well, and that Hanisha witch will die."
Even though she and Ha Na had known each other for a while, she already had a special place inside her heart knowing that she is her younger brother's soulmate.
With her muttering around, she scanned around the garden as she approached this certain flower that she and Taehyung likes way back then making her smile in sweetness. She stiffened when a sudden scent lingers her nose, and she looked behind to see a wolf— the same wolf that she saw days ago.
Was it her soulmate?
Glancing side to side, she tried to find a way to hide, and snapped her head towards the window to see a figure inside the room causing her to furrow her eyebrows but eventually speeds as fast as she could, hiding behind the tree. She tightened her jaw, holding her breath and waiting for any wolf to pounce on her, but that moment didn't came.
Furrowing her eyebrows, she tilted her head in confusion before turning her head to sneak a peak behind, and saw the wolf banging on the window. She watched everything.
From the wolf turning into a human form causing the Princess to flush in embarrassment and hid for a minute, breathing in and out. Did she just saw her soulmate naked? She bit her lips, swallowing thickly before taking a glimpse again to see him already holding a human girl as he transformed back to his wolf form.
Junsoo parted her lips to interrupt them but was already cut off when the wolf ran out of the palace along with...
"Ha Na?" She choked, eyes widened in shock.
What was that?
A few days later passed...
Hanisha's breath hitched, eyes widened in horror as soon as she squinted her eyes to get a clear view of what was a happening in the Wolf territory.
Turned out that Caroline, Tiá of the Pack and Jungkook's mother was laid in the middle— lifeless.
What happened? She wondered. Yet, no one knows the reason why Caroline committed suicide, not even the greatest witch herself. She looked over, taking a glimpse of the wolves surrounding her including Ha Na and Jungkook who was the one who broke down in tears the most.
"It's better this way..." She formed a sad smile. "You must've missed your mate a lot to the point of becoming insane without him and committing suicide, right?"
Wolves becomes insane after a few days, weeks and months without their mate. Depends on how well they will cope up with everything, at the end they will be finished as a psycho.
Maybe, just maybe, she committed suicide before she could even hurt her own son knowing she will have mental problems soon.
"You shouldn't have existed too. Seokjin is already dead, what are you still doing here? I bet you didn't even tell your child about his father. How selfish could you be?"
She sighed deeply, feeling her heart dropped heavily. "I came here to tell you that no matter what you will do, you will never be able to protect your child."
She added. "You did the right thing of killing yourself. You did it in your own way."
"But before I go, I have something to tell you." A smirk curved up on her lips. "You do realise that you've done something so foolish right?"
She paused, raising an eyebrow as she continue to eye the territory from far away. "Didn't my mother ever tell you the real consequence of using the black magic? Aside from your son having to die in order to grow up?"
She laughed, bitterly. "Didn't you find it weird that Jungkook grew up so quickly in just a span of a month?"
"Jungkook may have found his mate." She stopped laughing before her face turned into a serious expression. She scoffed. "But by the end of the year, he will grow old and will eventually die. But I guess it'll be shortened knowing that he will wither from the lose of his mate as well."
The chance of Jungkook dying in just few months increases because of him being mate less already, and Hanisha couldn't do anything. Jungkook's case was unlike Caroline who managed to cope up with the thought of her soulmate who already died.
Hanisha did everything that she could to get to the right path. She should kill those who isn't supposed to exist in this timeline. And that includes Jeon Jungkook and his soulmate who shouldn't have existed. But of course, she doesn't need to do some effort for it for the Alpha will wither on his own.
She was destined to ruin someone's destiny— everyone's destiny.
"Kiana, my dear." She pursed her lips, remembering how the infant she had forced delivered back then has grown into a fine young woman.
She glanced at the corpse laying next to the Tiá of the Pack. "Don't worry because your mate will be with you by the end of the year."
Taehyung gritted his teeth, anger seizing inside his system before looking at Namjoon who was happily talking with Hoseok in the living room. He already knows everything from top to bottom as what Namjoon told him before. But instead of being angered about it, he didn't take it to his heart since he already forgot everything anyway. That means he forgot whatever hatred he has for Namjoon, and this time, he chose to believe him.
He even forgot Namjoon himself because at first he was confused. He doesn't have any memory of Namjoon because of someone was messing with his memory. But then, they introduced each other. He forgave Namjoon as well because If Hoseok can forgive him, sure he can forgive Namjoon too. After all, the elder did it for his destiny, and destiny is what everyone lives for.
But still, Namjoon chose to abide his destiny for everyone's sake because if he doesn’t, he will ruin those he cared. And because of destiny, he lost his mate that he adoringly loved for a thousand years.
Most importantly, the second in power Duke lost his ability to see the future because of him going against the destiny.
Namjoon also revealed the Princess' existence, who was supposed to be dead as what he said despite Taehyung not remembering anything. He told him that Jimin also knows everything yet chose not to tell anyone since he has to make a plan.
Of course, Taehyung should feel betrayed but he couldn't, he trust Jimin even though Hanisha is his mate. But he was pretty sure Jimin wouldn't betray them— hopefully.
Taehyung knows that Hanisha isn't his mate but he was too blind not to notice that and not believed the stranger who told him before.
Now, the Princess stayed back in her room despite having the rule of living outside the palace if the Queen is found.
Hence, the most interesting part of what Namjoon said was telling the real identity of the woman who pretended to be Ha Na. And where is she? He wondered, and Namjoon told him that Seokjin said he already buried her in the forest.
Taehyung searched day and night along with Hoseok, Namjoon and the guards to search through the forest but they couldn't find any single female but even if they did, they don't belong to Ha Na because of the DNA tests.
This gave Taehyung the hope that somewhere out there, Ha Na is still alive, and hoping that the Luna of the Pack is her. But he shouldn't do that right? After all, he have Ha Na yet his lover now happens to be the Luna of the Pack.
It scared him the most because what if— just what if she isn't Ha Na?
And as for Hanisha, he will deal with her later knowing how the woman hasn't appeared yet— probably busy fucking everyone's destiny.
Taehyung found out that Hanisha and Ha Na might be siblings because of how similar they looked like. She couldn't have taken Ha Na's appearance knowing how different they are but have almost similar face, right? That’s what he pondered.
But could Ha Na be a witch too? He mentally asked. He pursed his lips, speeding off as he wanted to slash out his anger towards himself for being fooled by a witch.
"Hey." A voice came out of nowhere making Taehyung snapped his head behind to see a familiar man. He scanned the man's facial features, having the scar on his left cheeks, and hair parted sideways to hide the scar.
The king gasped, eyes widened as soon as he recognised the man because of his scars. "Aren't you— You're the man I met before!"
"That was more than a thousand years ago. You still managed to remember?" The scarred man laughed, amused.
"Of course!" Taehyung responded childishly, excited to see the man who was his saviour. "You were the one who saved me back then."
The scarred man nodded with a smile on his face. "It's because we save each other, Taehyung. If not, who will?"
He added, nonchalantly. "Who can we trust except for ourselves?"
Before Taehyung could reply, the scarred man interrupted him. "I came here to tell you something."
The king raised his eyebrows, nodding in anticipation.
"You see, there will always be a chance to change destiny." He told him. "Do not stick to what was destined for you but rather stick to what you believe is right for you."
Taehyung tilt his head in confusion, tongue clicked. "What do you mean?"
"If there is a chance, grab it. Don't mind the consequences." The scarred man explained. "It seemed that I can't do it this time, and I'm guessing I was too late."
"What?" Taehyung squeaked, not understanding at all.
The man said in monotone. "Only you can do it the next time."
"Next time?"
"Remember that I believe in you." The scarred man said softly.
