Chapter 111: Chapter 111
CHAPTER FIFTY THREE
pt 2 flashback.
"What are you doing?!" Her mother yelled making Hanisha smile because even after all these years, her mother is still annoying as she is. "Who are you?!"
Hanisha's smile falters when she noticed something wrong. Her mother was looking at her but was looking through her. It was as if she wasn't there right in front of her mother.
Her eyebrows furrowed and directly speaking the words she wanted to say before she leaves again. "The child you suppressed will be born the same day as the child you bare."
She shook her head as she giggled. "No...I mean the illusion that I created inside your womb."
"Illusion?" Karla gritted her teeth, blinking her eyes. "You didn't create an illusion inside me right?"
"Of course," Hanisha snorted before her face turned serious. "I did."
The daughter bent down to her mother's level but the other oddly didn't flinched back just like she usually does.
"Isn't this part of the plan? Caroline's son and your daughter will be...I don't know? Happy?" Karla's chin trembled, gritting her teeth as she glared at her.
"But Mom—" She whispered, wanting to ask a question. "Did you tell Caroline the real consequence and curse of the black magic? Because I hope that you didn't."
With those words leaving her daughter's mouth, Karla gulped down her saliva. Hanisha turned around, not bothering her mother anymore as she will eventually come back 19 years later.
When she turned around, a sudden memory flashed her mind that made her remember the words of the man.
Wasn't the man talking about numbers? She wondered.
She pursed her lips, turning once again. "Name her Ha Na. It means one in which she and I are just one but different in a way."
Giggling, she turned around, ready to disappear.
"You—" Hanisha halted when her mother decided to speak. "How did you become so powerful?"
Karla knew that the moment she entered, her aura was radiating the entire area and from that voice, it surely belongs to her one and only child. But she was puzzled at the strong and suffocating aura of the lady surrounding her.
What she didn't know was that her daughter spent almost a thousand years to meditate or have her powers strong all alone. And in just nineteen more years, she will be considered the most powerful witch that would ever written in history unless erased in the books of Witches.
"Why are you doing this, my child?" Her mother whimpered, clasping her stomach as she slightly winced at the sudden pain of the baby slowly forming inside of her. "Can't we stay hidden together?"
Those words meant something to Karla but it doesn't to her daughter. The effect of the black magic caused her to be blinded as the after-result, and Hanisha left the house without even knowing that. Not that Karla was planning on telling her daughter anyway.
As Hanisha left the house, she directly went to the palace—the place where she was emotionally tortured. A place where she experienced hell. She sneaked inside the palace, invisibly existed in the middle of the hallway as she watched the three figure walking towards her.
"Caroline—" She heard Seokjin's voice slurred as Jimin and Hoseok tried to make the drunk one stay put inside his room.
Her eyes widened when Jimin suddenly looked at her direction, nose twitched and trying to find the scent. But she was quick to hide her scent causing Jimin to stop and closed Seokjin's door.
"I miss you, Jimin-ah..." She whimpered, trembling slightly at the near presence of her soulmate right behind those closed doors.
"And Hoseok-ah..." She pressed her lips into thin line. "Your child will be born soon."
a year later...
Walking with outburst of confidence was resonating the entire territory of the Sun Pack wherein the Female Alpha whom she wanted to see for a long time stood there.
"Is everything ready?" She asked nonchalantly to the pack's alpha named Mhekayla who bowed down in respect since witches are higher in status than them.
"Yes." Hanisha raised her eyebrows, waiting for her to at least change her mind before a sigh released her lips.
"Do you hate your mate that much?" She asked bitterly causing Mhekayla to stiffened. "That you are willing to ask me to erase his memories in return of having your child?"
She could see how the she-wolf gritted her lips, screeching them as she spat bitterly. "I wouldn't want to mate with a vampire."
Hanisha huffed. "Thinking about it, him being a Duke and you as a Female Alpha is enough to bare a perfect child."
Mhekayla snapped her head to Hanisha. "Your child will have a divine womb that would carry any child without the witches' help though there might be some complications. but still"
If a female Alpha and a Duke of vampires will consummate, they will surely have a child that have a divine womb.
"I choose my mate. A female alpha will choose her mate, and most likely, it won't be a vampire." Mhekayla's heart clenched in fear.
The true intention of Mhekayla was that having a child that is a half breed and a powerful one at that wouldn't be easy. She will surely have a hard time delivering the child causing it to die along with her, and the only solution she have was to get a help from the witch.
The only payment she will give to the witch was her own child, and it hurts her as a soon—supposed to be mother. It pains her to be away from her own child but she will do everything to save the child even if it means not seeing her again by death.
"You couldn't deny his destiny having you as his soulmate." Hanisha smirked and the female alpha looked at her in utter disgust.
She hated her.
"Destiny my ass." She hissed, trying to hold herself from killing the witch in front of her as the witch kept on spouting nonsense and hurtful words.
"You and I knows that my pack members are taught the old ways." Her lips slightly trembled, not wanting to choke on her words. "We loathe the current king for abolishing the Cross Law."
Mhekayla pressed her lips into thin line as her eyes stings. "Besides, without you, I couldn't even bare this child for it will die anyway. That's why cross law existed in the first place."
Hanisha gave her a sinister smile before her eyes flashed silver, hands glowed blue this time. The spell that the witch formed, floats all the way to the wolf and hovering it over her womb as Mhekayla whimpered, frightened at the thought.
She looked at Hanisha one more time who has a smug look on her face, and her eyes landed to her hands that glowed red instead of blue making her eyes widened in horror.
Death. Red represents death.
"Wait! No—" And the last thing that happened was her losing in consciousness.
The woman gripped the form in her hands tightly that was wrapped in a comfortable blanket as they walked towards the palace. As they arrived at the back of the palace, she gently put the infant down in front of the door before bending down and caressing the wonderful, beautiful baby that is no doubt looks like her father.
"Your name will be Kiana."
A smile left her lips. "It means bright and shining one like your father."
She properly fixed the blanket around the baby to keep her warm for the whole night. "You will be the lady of wild animals and goddess of hunting."
With that said, her hands glowed again as it formed a spell to hide the baby's true scent in order for Hoseok not to find his own child. It kills her but she has to for revenge.
She stood up, done with the spell before turning around with a cocky smile plastered on her face. She became a heartless person.
Hearing the door at the back clicked, she was abrupt to make herself invisible, glancing back at the baby. The back door of the palace opened as it revealed the strongest Duke of the Vampires, Kim Namjoon.
"Perfect." She whispered before vanishing herself into thin air.
Deep in the night came as Hanisha transported in her sister's room with an evil smile written on her face as her eye landed on the figure that was on the crib.
"My little sister," She whispered as she took a step forward, eyes never leaving the little. "Now, it's just the beginning."
Her head jerked towards the door as it revealed her mother going in with surprised expression as always even though she couldn't see her daughter anymore—the strong aura was enough of a proof but a little stronger this time.
Hanisha didn't appear these past nineteen years, and of course, it would get her mother teary but she stayed strong. Karla just gave birth to a beautiful girl, naming her Ha Na as what Hanisha told her.
"She is beautiful, Mom." Hanisha genuinely smiled at her mother who just nodded with no emotions sinking in.
"I know." Karla replied, walking towards Hanisha and grabbed the infant, fumbling and causing the daughter to looked at her in confusion.
Just why was her mother acting so careless?
"Daughter..." Hanisha hummed in response, eyes fixed on the beautiful baby.
"Why don't we make her a human, instead?" Karla asked with hopeful moistened eyes. "I can—"
"No, mom." Hanisha interrupted, snapping at her. "I am the real Hanisha here. No one can replace me."
She pointed at the infant. "That child is nothing but a mere illusion."
"But—"
"No buts, Mom." She hissed before hands revealing a silver knife using her power before leaning it to her own palms.
With a deep slit of her palms, blood started oozing out as it dripped causing droplets of blood dropping on the floor. She leaned it towards the infant's lips as the human baby easily took Hanisha's blood.
The purposed of the blood was for the baby to have its own scent knowing how she's just a mere illusion, and second it would confuse Taehyung and Jimin as her soulmate. That was her true intention.
"Tell Caroline to let her son appear in Ha Na's life when she reach 14 years of age to avoid any suspicions."
18 years later came and everything went perfect through the years according to what Hanisha planned.
Jungkook died in the arms of his soulmate, Kiana—not Ha Na. Hanisha found him before she would completely die in the process, and saved him.
With her treating him, she whispered. "In three months you'll be truly 18 years old..."
She squinted her eyes at the pup—Jungkook who was just sleeping peacefully. "My dear, what would happen to you in the next few months?"
And then a month later came. That's when Hanisha came in terms with Jungkook who is now fifteen years old. They made a deal, and it was sealed.
Within the month, she saw her sister in the forest—during the attack where Namjoon is overtaking Taehyung's throne. She watched as Namjoon captivated Seokjin, leaving Ha Na in the forest that gave her a chance to do something.
"You've grown up, my little sister." Hanisha whispered with a true smile on her face before her hands flowed white, slowly creating illusion of werewolves.
This way, Jungkook would think that his noona is attacked by werewolves despite knowing that rogue werewolves doesn't exist anymore, and that the only werewolves left are those in his pack.
He would be dumb if he didn't realised that.
Bending down to her level, she whispered. "And here I am thinking that you belong to Taehyung. I thought he would give you the ring he once gave me. But without that, wouldn't that mean that you can be claimed by anyone?"
Hanisha in the end played with Ha Na's love story by giving the human her blood to confused Taehyung and Jimin, while she put on a spell that would make Jungkook get attracted to her temporarily.
"My mother really did a good job on fooling Aunt Caroline way back then." She smirked.
And then three months later, Jungkook officially turned eighteen years old from the looks of it as both of them stand face to face, having the conversation of killing Kim Namjoon.
She was angered as she remembered their deal a month later after saving Jungkook, and in the end got tricked by him. But she was even more satisfied as she thought of a perfect plan again.
It was enough for her to become the Queen and avenge for her destiny.
