Chapter 110: Chapter 110

CHAPTER FIFTY TWO

[FLASHBACK]

After months, feeling like years, of being captive inside the palace, Hanisha finally escaped with that raging hatred towards the monster who abducted and ruined her life.

Entering the house whom she used live before, she furrowed her eyebrows seeing her mother panting heavily while asleep on the bed.

And it hit her.

Hanisha watched as her mother gasped for air, chest heaving up and down before their eyes connected. She pursed her lips into thin line. "You saw the future right?"

It was the first question she asked to her mother who was surprised to see her daughter inside their house for how many months of being imprisoned in the palace.

"You were dreaming just now."

Witches' greatest ability was to dream about their future yet the only flaw they has was that they would never know the after-result of their future.

"Hanisha—" Her mother choked, tear tickling from her eyes, and her chin trembled in pure happiness before whispering. "You're here."

"Yes I am, mother." Hanisha confirmed, nodding her head as her mother stood up to hug her only daughter.

"I have missed you, my daughter." She whimpered, squeezing the lady in her arms. "I miss you so much."

"I know, mom." Hanisha sighed, eyes starting to moistened as well but she doesn't have any time for this. She only have a few months to settle everything before Taehyung goes back to the palace from travelling overseas.

With a slight pull away, she looked at her mother's eyes. "I asked you something...were you dreaming just now?"

Karla nodded with a little hesitation, confused at to what her daughter was asking, even oblivious at her daughter's vicious idea.

"Perfect." Hanisha smirked, completely pulling away from her. "What were you dreaming?"

The older witch cleared her throat. "I dreamed about helping someone in the forest, and saving her but that is it."

Karla's eyebrows knit as her eyes widened in sudden realisation."You're not planning something, right?" Her mother gulped, knowing how witches could be ruthless, and she knew too well that her daughter isn't any different. "If you do something, what if the after-result would lead us to our death?"

"Trust me, mother." Hanisha softly smiled reassuringly. "Because I, too, dreamed about ruining someone's destiny."

Karla's eyes widened in shock, choking. "Destiny?!"

The young witch's smug lips got wider causing Karla to be mentally petrified. She didn't want her daughter to do something horrifying, especially when it comes to destiny.

"You should never play with destiny Hanisha! It's the scariest punis—"

Snapping, Hanisha responded. "Trust me, mother"

Everything was perfect—it was planned. From telling the Werewolves' Royalty as to where their daughter is hiding to saving the princess in the forest, and never had to chance to see the family again.

"What do you want me to do now?" Karla asked her daughter who was observing the princess of the werewolves' territory that was laying on the bed, unconscious.

Just like she planned, she told her. "I want you to suppress the child inside her."

"H-How?" Karla knew too well where this was going.

"Simple." She showed a sinister smile that makes her own mother flinch slightly. "Do the black magic, and I will do the rest."

The older witch choked. Yes, she is powerful but not as powerful as her husband. She couldn't perform black magic without taking a risk.

"Black magic?" She squeaked, eyes widened yet disappointed at her daughter. "You mean the forbidden magic?"

"Yes." Hanisha replied. "I know that black magic shouldn't be used because it is one of our agreements with the werewolves' cross law."

Eyes glistened from her daughter's eyes, it softened up the heart of a mother. "But help me this time, mom."

Silence filled the room as she watched the young witch letting her be bewitched. She knew, as a mother, how risky the black magic is yet she couldn't resist her ruined manipulative child.

"The one we're fooling right now is the princess of the royalties!" She hissed, trying to at least change the young witch's mind. "It will get us killed—"

"Ma." Hanisha huffed, rolling her eyes causing her mother's heart to break in tiny pieces. Of course, she wanted to do everything for her daughter. "We are witches, if you ever remember."

Hence, Hanisha knows how her mother could easily be manipulated by just her words.

The side of Hanisha’s lips curved into a smirk as she thought. Kim Taehyung, whatever the after result, I will surely live throughout the years.

Karla let out a sigh in defeat. "What makes you think the Princess will agree?"

"Because..." Hanisha smiled, biting the inside of her cheeks as she stared at her mother. "Isn't it because she's mother too, mom?"

She smirked, turning around as she face the door, preparing herself to vanish herself into thin air.

"Where are you going?" Her mother asked in worry. "You're not leaving me again, right?"

"In less than a thousand years from now." She responded nonchalantly. "I will come back for you, mother."

I will come back as the most powerful witch in history. She thought.

After 2 weeks since she last seen her mother, she sneaks in and out of the palace, making sure no one sees her but as she sneaks inside, she was startled to see someone popped out of nowhere.

"Shit—" She clutched her chest, gritting her teeth before she jerked her head towards the person. "How dare—oh?"

She froze. "You—aren't you the man I saved in the balcony?"

The man stared at her with longing yet hatred, and confusion as well. Those eyes—those familiar eyes has been bothering Hanisha ever since the man in front of her appeared in the balcony while she was trying to get away from Taehyung's grasp back then.

She remembered how the man squeezed the life out of her with an embrace while he kept muttering incoherent words yet couldn't be heard properly. Though she heard some words like Ha Na.

Why does he keep on talking about a certain number? Is he a lunatic mathematician? That's what she ever wondered.

"You are really a witch." The man in front of her groaned with so much despise causing Hanisha to look at him in displeased and surprised.

How did the man know? She tried to hid her identity as a daughter of a witch yet this man—whom she hasn't met except one time—knows her being a witch.

"What?"

"You ruined everything—" Her lips parted, dumbfounded as she watched the man's eyes turning into red along with tears forming. Is he a vampire?

"You ruined me—" He choke on his sobs, chewing on his bottom lips as he tried to control himself from attacking the lady.

"You don't know me, do you?" He asked, a tear rolled down his cheeks with his heart tightening at the sight of the woman he hated the most—No. The woman he should hate the most but couldn't bring himself to.

"I don—"

"Min Hanisha." He cut off as she stiffened in response.

She stuttered. "H-How do you know me?"

"I know you better than anyone." He put out a sad smile. "I should hate you for ruining me—"

His lips quiver before continuing. "But I couldn't hate you because you helped me through those years without her."

"What are you talk—"

"Let me take this chance to say thank you if I ever didn't." He said, sincerely yet those eyes were empty.

Hanisha knew the man was broken, and she noticed his scar on his left cheeks that she saw back then. How did he get those scars?

"I came here to see you again because I actually want to tell you something." He said making the witch raised her eyebrow.

"What is it?"

"Whatever you're planning now, stop it before it gets too late." He told her.

With her conversation with the scarred man, she didn't believe him. Everything that he spouted, she couldn't put herself to believe him—it was totally nonsense.

She froze at the sight in front of her. It all happened too quickly, and the next thing that happened was that she was already thrown on the bed by no other than Kim Taehyung—the ruthless monster who abducted her, and stole her from her beloved.

"How come I couldn't see you these days?!" He growled, crawling on top of her as he hovered with his hands tightly wrapped around her wrist causing her to wince. "How is it that I couldn't see you when you're just locked inside the palace?!"

"I—" Her chin trembled, eyes wavering as it locked with Taehyung's red flashing eyes. "I—was b-bored—I'm sorry!"

She cried, letting her tears fall and letting her fear crawl her. The man on top was becoming even more possessive as days passed by, especially knowing that there's no way he could have the heart of the woman.

After 2 years, Taehyung still couldn't forget what he did that day. How his monster overtook her and almost hit her when he shouldn't have. She was his woman, and no one else. He couldn't bare to touch nor hurt the woman that he loves.

That's why it took him years to make a whole field of flowers that she likes to surprise her, and hopefully forgive him. He wanted it just like the same place he first met her.

Although he wanted to surprise her by going to the field she mostly loves to go but he couldn't because one, he couldn't risk letting her outside the palace and two, it was the place she first met Jimin as well.

It was their favourite place, and Taehyung didn't like the idea.

The young king waited in the middle of the field with bouquet of the same flowers in between his hands, and a grin plastered on his face. He was excited to see what would be his beloved's reaction knowing how he spent two years for it, and how he goes one month off just to spend the entire days with her.

But time flew fast until the next morning came, and he didn't move an inch from his place. He stayed positive and optimistic but his heart dropped when Namjoon approached him. He received a devastating news that made his heart shatter into a million pieces—worst, even made his eyes flashed in anger.

And the next thing happened was running to the field where he witnessed a scene unfold in front of him.

"I miss you." He could clearly hear those words coming out from his beloved's mouth that made his blood boil. He watched as Hanisha ran in the middle of the forest with the beautiful and gorgeous smile on her face before turning around to look at Jimin's direction.

"Jimin-ah!" Her voice was all over the place as she span around in the middle of her favourite flower field.

Jimin watched her in full delight and sparkled eyes as she twirled with a smile plastered on her face. He was happy that she was happy as well but the man who was seeing everything wasn't happy at all.

"I'm sorry." Taehyung heard Jimin muttered as the man walked towards her before placing his palm on her cheeks making the lady smile but soon frowned when she noticed the tears on his eyes.

"What are you doing?" Hanisha watched him in horror, backing out but Jimin's hand never left her cheeks and continued to caress it with his thumb.

This made Taehyung puzzled at what Jimin was doing, eyes turning back to normal.

Jimin says in a cold tone yet soft tone. "I have to kill you."

Taehyung's eyes widened, and that's when it shoot him. "But Jimin—"

His eyes watched as Jimin leaned near her neck with his sharp fangs revealing but the girl stayed still and waited for her beloved's bite. But everything didn't go well with Taehyung grabbing his hands around Jimin's neck causing him to squeak.

Hanisha watched from behind with petrified expression as she stared flabbergasted at Jimin who was lifted up in the air. She jumped off her position when Taehyung turned to glance at her with that deathly and despise in his eyes.

If I can't have you, no one else can. Taehyung chanted in his mind before his attention goes back to Jimin, completely letting his demon out.

However, that wasn't it, Hanisha's palms glowed red as her anger fumes together with Taehyung's furious state. Just as she was about to attack him with her powers, their ears twitched all together as they heard something in the forest.

And the smell of werewolves were surrounding the field.

She died.

That's what everyone thought.

They mourned for her death after the attack of werewolves' royalty in the forest—not knowing that Seokjin was part of her death the moment he sucked the life out of her.

All they knew was that she was killed because of the werewolves. She was still alive when Taehyung left her there with Seokjin, and that's when her blood drained out.

Seokjin believed that he killed Hanisha when all along, she was alive—just sealing herself off to let everyone think that she's dead in hope that her mother might receive the news of her death and at least save her from the ground.

When she was finally buried six feet underground for hours, she was getting out of oxygen and providing herself with just the use of magic.

Just as she was about to run out of oxygen, she met the light that blinded her eyes and was tugged out of the coffin with just a strong pair of hands causing her to gasped for air as she landed on the ground. She clutched her chest, head snapped at the open coffin that was below her before hissing.

"Bitch I almost died there." She panted causing the person who saved her from death chuckled.

She stiffened, raised her eyebrows before snapping her head towards—her eyes bulged out from her sockets. "Aren't you that man?"

"You could say that." The man with a scar on his left cheeks that was half covered by his hair nodded.

"Why—How?"

"I saved you because I needed your help." He said.

She snorted before turning around. "By telling me to disappear with you? No, thank you."

"You have to believe me!" She heard the man yelled as she ran as fast as she could.

After 981 years.

Hanisha went back to her mother as promised. She watched with longing as she sees her mother still looking so beautiful even after a hundred years. She missed her mother so much that one couldn't even imagine the pain that she had to go through just to be successful with her plan.

To be the most powerful.

Her lips trembled, hand shakes as she raised it over her mother's stomach before chanting a curse while her mother was asleep peacefully, and minutes after, she succeeded with the curse of illusion. That is until her mother shifted on the bed, eyes entirely opened in surprise.

"What are you doing?!" Her mother yelled making Hanisha smile because even after all these years, her mother is still annoying as she is. "Who are you?!"

Hanisha's smile falters when she noticed something wrong. Her mother was looking at her but was looking through her. It was as if she wasn't there right in front of her mother.
