Chapter 100: Chapter 100
CHAPTER FORTY THREE
Since Hoseok was given the chance to travel around the world a month ago, he decided it would be better to mourn alone in his heart by going to a far away country rather than mourn with other people in the same place where his hyung died. He didn't want to look weak in front of others since in the first place, he was looked upon as the weakest Duke.
Seokjon's death truly hurt him to the core, and all he did was cry but Taehyung told him to go travel instead. He knew Hoseok too much on how to handle such grief—that is to travel around the world.
As he was travelling in different countries, his last stop was in Australia wherein after days of touring, he'll be back to where the main palace was located. However, he didn't expect something that would confuse him more as he was standing in the middle of the train station, facing the one that didn't bother to go home for months.
Namjoon was right in front of him, staring back with wide eyes.
What he knew nor found information was that Namjoon was doing some mission. Does his mission involves him going to Australia?
A smile appeared on Hoseok's lips as he ran towards Namjoon, and jumping right in his arms making the other baffled and startled.
"Namjoonie!" Hoseok yelped, wrapping his arms around him as he squeezed him into a tight hug.
The latter was clueless, not remembering what the other did that ruined the whole Kingdom of Vampires in all countries. And Namjoon was dumbfounded that even after what he did, how is it that Hoseok greeted him like this?
Ha Na decided to take a fresh air in the middle of the night after taking care of Jungkook. The first thing that she remembered to go to? It was her place with Kim Taehyung in that certain part of forest. She finds it ridiculous how a stranger managed to enter her heart like a flowing stream.
It was part of her heart's nature that the man is already seated on there, and it was aching her chest in a good way. She pursed her lips into thin line, suppressing a smile from escaping that luscious lips as she stared at the night sky that twinkles up above.
She remembered what happened at that night of her birthday.
That night where she was in someone else's presence instead of Jungkook and where she was with someone that truly tremble her heart instead of someone that was giving her the dullness of love. Her smile turned into a frown as she was conflicted about everything, and she was contemplating, releasing a soulless sigh before falling on her limbs down to the ground.
"Why am I feeling this so?" She sighed again, watching the darkness of the sky. "Why do I feel like I'm longing for someone?"
The heavy weight of her heart tightens against her chest. "Why do I feel so lonely and empty without you?"
The night that happened between the two replayed in her mind. "That hour just before my birthday always reminds me of you."
She remembers the time they were looking at the same sky. "The stillness of the night sky with the dim light glowing on you, casting shadows and filtering light."
A smile appeared on her lips as she glanced to her side, remembering how she was taking a glimpse of his side features. "The way you'd sit still, quietly listening. How is it that no matter how long you stayed, I still find myself missing you?"
She closed her eyes tightly when a sudden pain passed by causing her head to throb in pain as flash of image replayed in her mind.
"Mommy!" She looked up at her mother with a cheeky grin on her mouth.
"Yes, darling?" Her mother answered, picking her up causing her to squirm around.
"Mommy, how do you know you are in love?" She asked, giggling and showing her cute little teeth.
"Why? Do you like someone?" Her mother teased, wiggling her eyebrows.
"No!" She whined, pouting. "I just want to know so that when I found someone like you found daddy, I want to know if it I am in love!"
"To know someone who is in love?" The woman tugged her bottom lip with her teeth as she put down the child before bending down to meet her daughter’s level.
"Yes, yes?" She interlocked her hands together, watching her mother in anticipation and eagerness.
"All you have to do is...close your eyes, open them, and tell me who do you see."
She gasped, shooting her eyes open as she fight to breathe in and out. Her eyebrows lined straight, baffled my the sudden image. What was that? Ha Na wondered.
"Close your eyes, open them and tell me who do you see?" She repeated before looking straight to see a familiar silver haired man who was staring back at her.
Taehyung...?
Her eyebrows furrowed as her eyes remained unwavered with the man's eyes as he approached her. As Taehyung got closer, something in her mind clicked and she she tried to remember what was it that was bothering her.
Taehyung... I've heard that name before.
She blinked twice, eyes still fixing with Taehyung as her mind continue to muddle with thoughts and memories. Somewhere and somehow, there was something that kept on kicking her but nothing could come out.
Just what is it? She mentally groaned, frustrated at the thought of not knowing what she was trying to know.
And then it hit her, she remembered how Jungkook told her about the Legendary Garden where Kim Taehyung's first queen died. She choked before she looked above again trying to cough out the saliva that she accidentally gulped down, and locked gaze with the man.
Kim Taehyung...the King...?
Kim taehyung...you are the king? She looked at her flustered while Taehyung gave her a soft smile.
"Could I be the one that you are longing for?" He asked making her step back a little bit.
"What?"
"I heard every word." He smiled sheepishly before restating. "Could I be that person... you were thinking of?"
And that's when she knew that she needed to be six feet underground because of embarrassment.
