I bit my lower lip before answering him. I don't know what to say.

"Don't you want me to be your boyfriend?" he asked again.

He was asking me that question since this morning before we go to the market to buy myself clothes. Now, we are on the market, Cristel and Alfredo are on the other side while I and Henry are in the clothes section.

"You are not courting me yet..." I shyly smile.

"I courted you, remember? But you just keep on resisting me. Come on, Aliyah." His tone was frustrated.

"Why are you forcing me? That's not right, Mr. Dizon." I chuckled. I picked one dress then faced the mirror.

"I am not forcing you. Why are you not answering my questions?" he asked, and I saw him pout on his reflection in the mirror. He is so cute.

"You don't have to tie me up, Henry. My eyes are just for you," I said.

"Just your eyes?" He smirked.

"And heart too. Don't you want that?" I gave him the dress I chose.

"But I want assurance. I want to a commitment, Aliyah." He followed me to the cashier to pay for the dresses.

He didn't speak anymore after we paid for the dresses. I guess, he will going to ignore me the whole time if I didn't agree with what he wanted.

"I told you, Henry. You get bored, girls taking too much time to buy and choose only one dress," Alfredo said when he noticed Henry's face.

"What happened to you two?" Cristel whispered.

I smiled then continue eating the food we ordered. "He said he wants a commitment. He's been asking me to his girlfriend since we left for the market. I didn't answer him, I know he's frustrated right now," I said then chuckled.

"He's really head over heels of you. He really loves you Aliyah that he only wants you for himself. I understand why you don't want any commitment to him but why don't you seize the moment while you are still here?" she said.

I smiled. "I am planning to give him a chance. I don't want to regret anything. You are right, I need to seize my moment, I don't know if I have still a lot of time. I can still remember why I am here, but I want to allow myself to love Henry even in a short period."

She nodded. "So, when are you planning to say 'yes' to him?"

"This day," I answered calmly. He didn't know that, and I don't want to answer him in a not romantic place. I want it to be special that he and I will remember it for the rest of our lives.

When Cristel and Alfredo decided to go home, Henry still wants to show me the whole town. I am familiar now with this but having him by my side is very different.

He is holding my hand on his left hand and his right hand was holding the dresses I bought. We are walking in a peaceful park. The sun is almost setting, the wind is very cold, but his warmth is protecting me from it.

"I love you, Henry. And I want you to be my boyfriend. Don't get mad at me now." I chuckled.

He suddenly stopped walking. I looked at him, his face was shocked. I laughed at him.

"Your face looks ridiculous. Why is that?" I continued laughing until he pulled me to his body.

"What did you say?" he asked.

Our lips are almost touching. I give him a light kiss.

"You are my boyfriend now, what do you want to do?" I kissed him again, but this time, he responded and deepened the kiss. We are both smiling while we are savoring the sweetest kiss we have ever done.

I need to push him a little to stop him from getting further. We are in a public place for goodness’s sake. I have never done this before. I guess it's true that the place didn't matter when you are with your loved one.

"We are not going home yet. We have to have our face date as an official couple. There's a night market in this town and a carnival too." He was so happy; I can tell with his voice.

"Sure, anything you want my love." I am happy too.

We are a lot of unfamiliar foods, but he patiently explaining them to me. They are delicious, especially the grilled ones.

"Are your parents are not looking for you?" I asked him while we are drinking some iced tea.

"I said I was going to run some staff. They won't mind." He smiled.

I rubbed his shoulder that has a wound. "We need to replace your bandage. We need to go home," I said.

He sighed. "Aliyah, speaking of going home. I need to go home tomorrow, don't worry, I'll be back before you know it. I invited Cristel to stay with you or do you want to go with them, instead?"

"I don't want to stress Cristel, just send me to their home where they live." I smiled.

"Okay, let go home?"

I nodded. When we got home, he took a bath first. His wound has stitches, so I need to be more careful in cleaning it. I don't want it to be open again, it will bleed more.

"Does it still hurt?" I asked him while cleaning his wound.

"A little-- Ouch!"

I giggled. "I'm sorry, I need to press it a little to remove the excess dirt." I bit my lower lip and focused on what I am doing.

"Are you a nurse?" he asked.

I nod. "Yes, you don't believe in me?" I stood up to put the bandage on his body.

"I didn't know, you never mentioned it before. Where did you study medicine? I am very sure that you are from a wealthy family that's why I don't believe in Sonia when she told me that you are from a syndicate, medicine is an expensive course." He looked at me.

I sighed. "I tell you someday, not now. Can you wait?"

He held my hand and kissed the back of it. "Of course, I waited for you, I can wait for you to open up to me. I love you," he said.

I kissed him on the lips. "I love you too. Thank you for your patience."

I took a bath too and did my night routine. I stopped putting facial cream on my face when I noticed a big bluish mark in the middle of my chest.

"What is it?" I rubbed it, I thought it was just dirt stuck on me. But it began to hurt so bad.

Then I remembered before I was transported in this time, I got into an accident. Is this a scar from it? Am I dying?

I went out to the bathroom. Henry immediately smiled when he saw me. He was reading a newspaper, he put it on the side table and tapped the space beside him, signaling me to go there.

I let out a deep breath. "Let's sleep." I positioned myself on the bed. My back was facing him.

He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. "Good night, my love. Sweet dreams."

I closed my eyes and prevented myself from crying. How can I leave if I already found my happiness? If I didn't do my mission, I will disappear here and die on my own time. I can't be selfish.
