Chapter 100: Chapter 100
Although Quinn Lockwood was also very angry about what the employee had done, she felt a little guilty that the person lost their job because of her, so she spoke up to stop it.
"Forget it, forget it, it’s just taking a photo, it’s not a big deal, it doesn’t have to be this serious, work isn’t easy."
The employee felt extremely ashamed when Quinn spoke for him, he hadn’t expected that after how he treated her, she would still help him. If he had known this earlier, he wouldn’t have been part of the commotion. What did it matter to him whether Quinn was chasing after Mr. Sinclair?
"The Sinclair Group doesn’t need people who only gossip behind others’ backs," Elias Sinclair said with an unwavering tone that left no room for refusal.
"Manage your subordinates well, I don’t want to see this kind of thing happen again."
"Don’t worry, Mr. Sinclair, I will pay attention." Seeing that President Sinclair no longer paid attention to him, Kevin quickly left with the employee.
"Wow, quite the scene here." Ethan Davis came out from the equipment room and just happened to witness the scene. After watching his brother so decisively fire someone, he couldn’t help but tease.
Elias Sinclair gave him a cold glance and said in a deep voice, "Do your job."
"Alright, then I’ll continue discussing with Miss Lowell about how the advertising shoot this afternoon should go." Ethan’s tone had a hint of something more, and he then started to head in Quinn Lockwood’s direction.
Elias’s expression changed slightly, and he took a step to block Ethan’s path.
"It’s break time now. The detailed shooting plan will be informed to Savannah Lowell when work resumes."
Seeing that Elias was in a bad mood, Ethan decided not to make matters worse and went back to fiddling with his equipment.
Elias scanned everyone present, saw they were all too nervous to look his way, and knew they wouldn’t dare to make things difficult for Quinn Lockwood anymore. He then went off to handle other company matters.
Quinn looked at how Elias had just defended her and felt increasingly that she had been too harsh by slapping him last night; she was quite touched.
She didn’t expect that even after she’d upset Elias so much, he would still stand up for her, even firing an employee because of her. She decided that she must thank him properly when there’s a chance.
Meanwhile, at The Sinclair Group headquarters, Joyce Kramer was holding a document looking for Elias to sign, but she couldn’t find any trace of President Sinclair. After asking around, she learned he went to Quinn Lockwood’s photoshoot, which made her feel terrible inside.
She couldn’t believe President Sinclair went to see Quinn right after being busy, and it was just break time.
Joyce tightly clenched her folder. She couldn’t continue to sit idly; she must find an excuse to go to the photoshoot. She had to make President Sinclair dislike Quinn.
Soon, the afternoon’s advertising video shoot began. Due to Elias’s actions earlier, no one dared to intentionally make things difficult for Quinn Lockwood anymore, nor did anyone gossip about her.
Today’s shoot was a solo ad for Quinn Lockwood. The main content involved portraying multiple roles with different personalities, requiring strict control over emotions and facial expressions.
Ethan was extremely satisfied with her performance and state during the afternoon shoot. He only needed to find the angles best suited to present aesthetic beauty and adjust the camera, without having to guide her like he did in the morning.
Ethan also guessed that the dissatisfaction in the morning was due to someone deliberately causing trouble for Quinn.
Quinn truly seemed to have extraordinary talent. Could it be that she was too excellent, which led to people scheming against her?
After all, in the highly competitive entertainment industry, most people appear glamorous on the surface and seem friendly, but might act differently when it comes to their interests.
Furthermore, after these two days of interaction, Ethan found Quinn’s personality quite good—assertive when needed and humble when appropriate, without a hint of arrogance or ignorance.
"Ethan, may I see how the shoot turned out?" Quinn threw herself down next to him with a look of eager expectation.
The young man instinctively moved a little away and said disdainfully, "Hey, hey, don’t get so close. I’m afraid someone might snap a photo, and Mr. Sinclair could just fire me next time."
Naturally, she knew he was joking unseriously. Quinn pouted at him then gave a sweet smile and cooperatively said, "Mr. Ethan, please let me see the footage, so I can make timely corrections if needed."
The young man looked at her with contempt but suddenly felt that her sweet smile gave him a feeling of falling into a sweet romance, and then an idea popped into his head.
An ad focused solely on one person wasn’t quite novel. If they could add a partner, portraying the meaning of diamonds through a young girl’s sweet romance and token of love, it would be perfect.
The reason Ethan Davis became a world-renowned fashion photographer at such a young age was not only due to his superb photography skills and unique aesthetic but also because of his keen insight and ideas in presenting his work.
No matter what the finalized creative plan by the planning party was, if he had an idea and was dissatisfied, he could create and modify freely anytime, anywhere.
Thus, every time he signed a cooperation contract, he would include this clause: Mr. Ethan Davis can veto, modify, and adjust the shooting plan at any time. Any resources and costs incurred will be borne by the other company, and his intellectual labor should be accordingly compensated.
So, to employ Ethan Davis, one mustn’t be an ordinary person.
"Have a look yourself, I’ve got things to do, goodbye!" With that, he turned the computer towards Quinn and then quickly ran away. Newest update provıded by NoveI-Fire.ɴet
Quinn thought Ethan was afraid Elias might come back to trouble him, realizing he wasn’t only frivolous but also a bit of a coward.
Although cowardly, the footage was impressive. It was clearly an indoor shoot but appeared as if it were outdoors, with each shot composed at the optimal angle and direction.
Quinn watched herself on the screen with satisfaction, admiring her ’magnificent beauty,’ unable to help but praise, "It’s so beautiful, tsk tsk!"
"Miss Lowell, do you know where Mr. Ethan is?" an employee respectfully asked Quinn.
"He just left." Quinn smiled at him, making the employee feel a chill in his heart, and he quickly bowed then dashed out.
Quinn twitched the corners of her mouth, wondering if she was some sort of jinx.
As the shooting for the day had been completed and with Ethan already gone, Kevin informed everyone they could pack up. The wrap-up didn’t involve Quinn, so she headed straight back to the hotel.
