Third Person’s POV

All those men thought to sneak out of that warehouse before getting caught by the pissed Alpha female who was examining her mate. There was no doubt that she would have killed all of them at the instant if she wouldn’t have felt the weak breath of her mate.

Amber’s wolf whimpered when she realized that the chance of her mate’s survival was almost NIL after all there was no hospital nearby and on the top, he was just a human who could heal as fast as her. She tried to push Alex’s body which her head trying to wake him up but it was not at all working.

Immediately she lifted her head to look at all the culprits who were the reason for this state of her mate. She left Alex’s side and attacked Aurora’s father, who was the main culprit here. She pressed her paw against his throat and recalled how they did the same to Alex.

“Please…le..t go o..f me!”, He tried to speak on which Amber’s wolf growled at her angrily. There was no way she was going to leave him or any of his men. “You…c..an st..ill sav..e y..ou..r mate.”

She removed her paw from his throat and moved a little back, growling at him, a warning, letting him know that she wouldn’t mind ripping his head if she find out that whatever he said was a lie. Aurora’s father rubbed his neck before speaking.

“Alpha Elijah Davis, he can save your mate if you take your mate to his pack as soon as possible. His pack is on the outskirts of a neighboring city.”

Amber’s wolf started in his eyes for a while to see any trace of a lie but she didn’t find any, neither she could smell of lie from him. Though she wanted to kill him but then she too had to take Alex out of this place urgently.

Amber’s wolf stared at Alex’s body wondering how to take him with her.

“I will put him on your back and then you can run to Alpha Elijah Davis’s Territory.”, Aurora’s father said when her wolf was looking confused.

She nodded and let him place Alex on her back. Soon, Amber’s wolf wasted time and started running toward the Alpha Ejilah’s Pack.

“Beta Tyler! I knew that she was strong and she had alpha blood in her vein but why did you help her? She’s our enemy.”, A young man said when Amber’s wolf left from there but Tyler smiled in the content before speaking.

“That’s because she’s the missing daughter of our Alpha.”, Tyler responded, recalling the golden coat of Amber’s coat, just like her mother. He didn’t realize that she had the same eyes that his Alpha had until he saw Amber in her wolf form.

“You mean…

“Yes, we have finally found the real heir of our pack.”, Tyler paused for a while. “And there’s no way I can let Amber’s mate die.” Immediately something clicked in his mind and he shifted into the werewolf before running in the same direction where Amber’s wolf had left.

All the remaining of his men stood there like a statue, not knowing what to do because they didn’t know how to shift.

Amber’s wolf got alert when she felt someone following her. She was in no mood to take anyone’s shit right now and it seemed like everything had to happen at this moment only. She recognized the scent of the wolf following her and that’s why she started running as fast as she could, still making sure that Alex’s body stay intact to hers.

At the same time, Tyler was just running behind her, to make sure that Alexander remained on Amber’s back and didn’t fall. When he felt that Amber was going in the wrong direction, he growled at her, directing at the right way.

At the same time, with every move, Amber's wolf made she could hear her mate groan in pain. It broke her heart every time, but it had to be quick in order to save him.

Alpha Elijah Davis

‘Alpha, rouges’, Nate mind linked me, waking me up from my sleep.

‘Where are they? How many?’

‘Northern Border. The wolves patrolling the area found they are two along with a human, who smelt injured.’, He informed me. I cursed and leaped out from the bed. I quickly pulled on shorts before exiting my room in the mansion. I ran down the stairs and out of the house, shifting into a big grey wolf as I opened the front door.

It took me fifteen minutes to reach the northern border. Since they had a human who was injured, I was sure that they are going to approach us for some help instead of any war.

Immediately I smelt two familiar scent. It didn’t take much time to realize who was the human and one of the wolves.

I waited near the border with my Beta and a few of the warriors and the sound of paws hitting the ground came. To my surprise, I was right when the scent of Alexander Stone and his werewolf bride hit me.

The one behind them turned around and left from there.

“Alexander?”, The golden wolf whimpered, nodding her head.

When Nate walked toward her, she growled at him, warning him not to come close.

‘Arranged the doctor immediately.’, I ordered him and signaled Nate to stay away. While I walked toward the golden wolf. She shifted my scent and after confirming that I meant no harm to her mate. She finally let me touch my mate.

She whimpered looking at the condition of her mate, which no doubt looked worst.

“Don’t worry. He’ll be fine.”, I said and then right before everyones eyes her body dropped to the ground completely lifeless as it shifted back to her human form to reveal a very nacked Amber.

I growled at my men to divert their eyes from her. Thankfully, one of a female warrior reached her with a shirt in her hand.
