Aaron was talking with Christian when someone poked into his mind trying to mindlink him. He opened his mindlink.

"What happened Patrick?" He asked annoyingly. He is already pissed that Aana left and then Rocky's matter. All was not enough that now someone is trying to mindlink him. He asked his Beta not to mindlink him until it was an emergency.

"I hope, I'm not disturbing you Alpha" Aaron rolled his eyes.

"Come to the point, Patrick" He screeched.

"Remember you asked me to find a solution to neutralise the effect of wolfsbane in blood. I discussed it with our pack doctor." Patrick said. When Aana shared about the presence of wolfsbane in her blood and Alice's condition because of that, Aaron decided to find a solution for it. He wanted Alice to enjoy her life like a normal werewolf who can shift easily and run in the forest as much as she wants.

"Please give me good news"

"There is a chance to reduce it. Pack doctor thought to prepare a medicine but we need your blood to prepare it because you carry former Luna's blood in your body"

"And Mom was a healer," Aaron said, completing Patrick's point.

"Yeah… plus point is Alpha Rex is a Lycan who doesn't get affected by silver and wolfsbane. If you have time can you visit our pack so that we can start preparing for medicine" Patrick muttered.

Aaron went silent for a minute. He hates to go to his pack because it reminds him of his parents and also that they are no more. He closed his eyes to calm himself and that's when Alice's smiling face came in front of his eyes when she spent time with him and Rex by taking control of Aana's body. He can't even imagine how Alice takes the news that she won't be able to stay in her wolf form longer.

"I will be there in an hour. Make sure you prepare everything before my arrival because I will return back after two days."

"Ok, Al" Aaron closed the mindlink before Patrick would have called him Alpha. He turned his head and looked at Christian who was busy with his phone.

"Christian"

"Yeah" He looked up at Aaron.

"I'm going out with some personal work. There is no need to follow me."

"But"

"Don't worry I will take care of myself and also I will be back after two days. Since Aana is not here, I can go without any fretting." He muttered.

"Okay, but please be careful. You're a top businessman. You have many enemies who wanted to kill you"

"I will," Aaron muttered and went towards his car to drive halfway towards his pack and then cover the remaining distance in wolf form.

Aaron gets busy with his pack doctor to find the solution for Alice while Aana two days went bearing the pain of heat. Alice became fragile because of the tablets Aana took to control the heat in their body.

"Thank you so much Alice for understanding me and not calling Aaron" Aana mindlink her. She had no energy to do any work like Alice.

"I know you don't want Aaron to use the wolfsbane injection that's why you lied to him about going to our parents' house. You just don't want him to know about our condition" Alice replied and closed her eyes because of weakness. Aana also didn't disturb her. She was about to take a nap when her phone rang. She picked up her phone and saw a call from an unknown number.

"Only Aaron and a few office members had my number. who is calling with an unknown number," She thought. the first two times she cut the call but it rang again.

"Hello" She picked up the call to know who is calling her so desperately.

"Hello, Aana. It's me, Christian. Where are you?" He asked anxiously.

"I'm at home. what happened?"

"Oh god." Christian groaned. Before Aana could have asked him what happened, she heard the doorbell.

"Wait... Somebody is at the door" Aana muttered and went outside to open the door, only to find a few officers standing there.

"You're Miss Aana?" One of the officers asked.

"Yes"

"Mr. Rocky filed a harassment case against you. You're under arrest"

"What?" she almost screamed, not able to understand anything.

"Harassment? I don't even know about whom you're talking" Aana muttered, She doesn't even remember Rocky's name. She knows him by face but never cares to know his name.

Rocky was planning to take revenge on Aana since he got healed from the injury she gave but because of Aaron, he didn't get any chance. When he comes to know that Aaron is out of town, he finds it a perfect chance to trap her and take revenge. He bribed one of the police officers and filed a case of harassment against Aana.

"You have to come with us, Ma'am." Before Aana could say something, the officer tied her hand with handcuffs and started dragging her. In all this, even her phone fell to the ground. Christian was listening to the whole conversation until her phone fell on the ground. He cut the call and took his car towards the police station.

The police officer first came to Aaron's office in search of Aana then went to her home after collecting her address details from the office when Christian got to know about this. He first called Aaron but he was not picking up his call. He dial Aana's number to know where she is and his fear came true when Aana told her that she is at home.

Aana was continuously pleading with the officer to release her, telling them that she didn't do anything but no one listened to her. One officer made her sit in his personal car in the front seat. Aana felt a little awkward but as he was an officer, she couldn't say anything to him.

"Aaron" Only one name came to his mind and a tear rolled from her eyes. She stops pleading with the officer and starts praying in her mind to send Aaron from somewhere. She was thinking about him when she felt a hand on her thigh. She got terrified and looked at the officer who was driving with one hand and touching her inappropriately with the other. Aana tried to push his hand away with her cuffed hand but he tightened his grip. Tears rolled down from her eyes. Her soul trembled in fear.

"If you want to have fun then you should come to me. I would have given you double pleasure." His words were enough to make her feel disgusted. He was the same officer whom Rocky bribed to teach Aana to torture her in prison.

Aana tightened her fist and turned her head in another direction to control her anger but when his hand slid up near her crotch. she lost her temper and grabbed his neck with her cuffed hand. The officer didn't expect that. As a result, the car got imbalanced. He was trying to get out of her grip but Aana didn't leave her. She wanted to kill him for touching her without her will.

The officer applied the brake to use both of his hands to get out of her grip but it was still hard for him to get out of his grip while Aana was using all her remaining energy in teaching him a lesson. She left his throat when he was almost near death and hopped down from the car. She took a deep breath of relief, realising she got out of his grip but happiness didn't last long when that officer got out of the car. Aana tried to run away from him but he caught her and slapped her hard, making her fall to the ground. He slapped her so hard that it made her start feeling dizzy.

"Aana" she heard Christian's voice before darkness consumed her. Christian looked at the officer and then at her.

Christian was going towards the police station using the same way when he found Aana running on the road and the officer was chasing her. Before he could understand or do something, the officer caught her and slapped her. He ran towards her and took her head in his lap. He tapped her cheek but nothing happened. He glared at the officer who got frightened after seeing Christian.

"She was running away. To stop her, I slapped her" He lied, scared of getting caught for his filthy deeds.

"You will have to suffer for this" Christian growled and went towards his car to get back with a water bottle. He sprinkled a few water droplets on Aana's face and thankfully it worked. She got conscious. He helped her to get up.

"Why were you running?" He frowned.

"Christian" She was about to tell him the truth. That's when her eyes went to the officer who took out his gun and pointed his gun at Christian, signalling Aana not to open her mouth otherwise the result would be worse.

"I go---got scared" She turned her head down. He sighed and held her hand.

"Don't worry, I and Aaron will find a way to get you out of this mess" He said and moved his hand to wipe her tears but Aana moved back and wiped her tears with her cuffed hand.

"Tell her to sit inside my car," Officer said. His words were enough to scare her. She holds Christian's hand and nods her head negatively.

"I will not go with him in his car alone. Please" She pleaded. Christian nods his head and looks at his officer.

"You can't take her in your private car especially when there are no women," Christian muttered looking at the officer.

"Now you will teach me the law."

"I can if you want," He said, glaring at him dangerously. If looks can be killed then the officer would have been buried in the ground.

"I will accompany Aana in your car. She is scared. As a normal citizen going to prison is not something common. please try to understand" he muttered and held her hand, indicating to her, he would handle everything.

"Fine" Officer frowned and went towards his car. Christian made Aana sit in the back seat and then sit beside her.

"Don't worry till Aaron comes, your best friend is with you" He muttered, bringing a slight smile to her face.

"Thank you" She whispered and looked at the officer through the mirror who was staring at her lecherously.

"Where are you, Aaron?" She thought and prayed to the moon goddess to send him as soon as possible because her heart knows only he can get her out of this situation.
