Aana moved her body on the bed when sun rays fell on her face. She keeps the pillow on her face, trying to sleep again. That's when she remembered last night. She opened her eyes and sat straight then removed the blanket only to find a note over there.

"You slept in the restaurant that's why I thought to drop you here and also take my belongings Pearl" Her eyes widened after reading the last line. She stood up from the bed and started searching for the box which had the injection.

"He took it" She sighed after searching her whole room and sat on the bed.

"Now, I understand why he called you a thief," Alice chuckled, remembering that moment when all of a sudden Aaron held Aana's hand and called her thief. After seeing her shocking reaction, he laughed and told a half lie that is talking about his heart which Aana stole. At that time, Aana shoved that topic thinking that he was flirting like usual but no he said those things to see her reaction.

"I should have destroyed the injection the moment we found it" Aana mumbled and went towards her wardrobe to take her clothes out.

"It is his choice, Aana. We tried but if he decided something then how can we stop him" Aana nodded her head in agreement with Alice and went to take a shower.

When Aana reached the office, she was shocked to see the decoration. Every corner of the office building was decorated by the employees to surprise their boss for cracking the biggest deal. Aana was so happy to see everything and the way everyone respected and loved Aaron. She went towards his cabin as everyone asked her to decorate his cabin where no one was allowed except a few people. Aana was decorating everything but then suddenly started feeling hot.

"Why is it so hot over here?" She thought and adjusted the ornamental door hanging. She was about to get down from the chair. That's when she felt Aaron's presence behind her who just came here from his penthouse through his private lift... Last night, he came back to the penthouse attached to his office, so that he can work early in the morning but he woke up late because of tiredness.

Aana turned her body a little to see him but ended up losing her balance. Aaron held her from her waist before her butt touched the ground and made her stand properly on the ground. He looked at the door hanging then his cabin decoration then at her.

"What is all this?" He asked.

"What are you doing here? you should've entered from the main door" she snapped at him instead of answering, not wanting to ruin everyone's surprise.

"I slept in my penthouse last night. If you remember where I took Alice when she came to the office a second time to sign the job letter" Aana rolled his eyes at her words.

"Is there any place where I went first before Alice?" she mumbled, feeling jealous of her own wolf. Aaron chuckled at her question.

"Yes"

"Where?" Aana looked at him impatiently, waiting for him to answer while he was loving the way her eyes twinkle hearing his words.

"In my heart. I fell in love with you in the first meeting only" He said making her speechless with her answer. She bit her cheeks not to smile at his words and turned her head in another direction.

"Are you blushing?" Aaron teased her when she was looking everywhere but at him.

"What are you doing here? You should go to the parking area and then make entry from the front door" Aana said, ignoring his words.

"What?" He laughed.

"Don't laugh and go" She pushed him keeping his hand on his chest and that's when she again felt that weird sensation.

"Ok fine… I'm going" Aaron laughed and left towards his lift to do as Aana says while she held the door tightly feeling dizzy all of the sudden.

"What is happening to me?" She thought and went inside Aaron's cabin where AC was on. She increases its speed, feeling hot. That's when something strikes her mind. She checked today's date on her mobile and got the answer to why she was feeling like this.

"I'm on my heat," Aana thought and rushed towards her desk.

"Mate" Alice growled in her mind, wanting to mate with Aaron and Rex. Tears rolled from her eyes realising her mistake.

"Why didn't I check the date before coming here?" She cursed herself and took out all her tablets from her bag which Ryan gave her. To control Alice when she will be in heat. She took all five tablets and took them all together. She picked up her phone and her purse to go home when her eyes went to Aaron who was standing in the middle of the hall, centred by all the employees. Aana came back to his cabin, thinking of a solution. That's when her eyes went to Aaron's private lift. She entered it and went towards the parking area only to find Christian.

"I need to reach home before I lose control over my senses," she thought and went towards him, requesting him to drop her at home which he did without asking anything. She reached her home within five minutes as it was not far from Aaron's office.

"Tell Aaron I went out of town for two days to meet my parents," Aana muttered after hopping out of the car.

"Okay but why are you in a hurry?" he asked worriedly as she was not looking fine. Aana didn't wait to answer him and ran towards her flat, as the heat and pain in her body increased with every passing minute. She locked her room from the inside and windows then pulled off the curtains.

"Aah," she screamed because of the pain she was holding within herself. She removed all her clothes, feeling hot all over her body. Tears rolled from her eyes because of the pain she was feeling. Alice wants to mate with Aaron and Rex but has control over herself, supporting her human, who still grieves over Vince.

Aana holds her stomach, feeling a different sensation inside her womb and the situation gets worse when the heat at her core starts increasing, making it unbearable for her. She fell to the ground, hugging her body tightly to get some relief.

Aaron was looking in his cabin direction again and again feeling something is wrong with Aana. When she came out to go outside, Aaron saw her standing at the stairs and by looking at her, anyone can say that she is not okay. Before he could understand anything, Aana ran back inside his cabin.

Aaron tried to go behind her but all the employees surrounded him to congratulate which made it almost impossible for him to go near her.

It takes him almost thirty minutes to move everyone aside. He rushed towards his cabin to look at Aana then scrunched his eyebrow when he didn't sense her around. Still, he searched for her everywhere. He took out his phone and called her but she didn't receive it.

"Why is she not picking up my call?" He groaned and again tried to get her number. That's when his eyes went to his private lift.

"Is there a chance that she left the office using our private lift?" Rex asked Aaron but he didn't answer and took the lift to go downstairs.

"She used this lift. Her mouth-watering smell is proof of it" Rex mindlink him. Aaron nodded his head and pressed the last button which existed in the parking area. He was about to go outside when Christian entered there with his car. He scrunched his eyebrow thinking where Christian would have taken his car but he ignored it. At this moment, all he wanted was to see his Pearl.

"Did you Aana?" He asked Christian as he came from outside.

"Yeah, I drop her at home"

"She went home but why?"

"I don't have the answer to that question but yes, she told me to inform you that she is going out of town to meet her parents"

"Parents?" Aaron was shocked when Christian nodded his head, telling him that he heard right.

"Why didn't she tell us about her parents?" Rex asked her human who was thinking the same.

"Even Alice didn't share anything with us" Aaron replied and again dial Aana's number. After trying a few more times, she finally picked up his call.

"Hello" He took a deep breath when he heard her voice. Aana was sitting in the bathtub full of ice cubes. At first, she thought to ignore his call but then Alice told her to pick it up because if she didn't then Aaron might come to their house to meet her. After calming herself she picked up the call but when Alice heard Aaron's voice, her desire to mate with him increased which made it more difficult for Aana to talk to him. She wanted to cut the call immediately but stopped when she sensed how perturbed he was for her.

"Why did you leave without meeting me?" He complained. Aana kept her hand on her mouth because of the pain she felt with the increasing burning sensation in her core. Tears fell from her eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asked when she didn't reply. Rex was already anxious for her and now her silence was increasing Aaron's fear.

"I'm fine" She muttered trying her best to keep her voice normal.

"Then why do I feel like you're crying?"

"My father's health is not good, that's why I'm going to meet him. Please don't call me until I contact you."

"But Aana" Aana cut the call before he would have something else and screamed in pain. She moved her finger to her core, trying to touch herself but nothing was working. Alice was whimpering in pain in her mind while Aana kept her other hand on her mouth to muffle her quavering voice, not wanting her brother and his wife to hear it.

Aaron was looking at his phone when Christian kept his hand on his shoulder.

"Did you talk to her?" He asked.

"Yeah... her father's health is not good, that's why she left town."

"Ohh okay... Well, I wanted to inform you about Rocky. he came back to the town." Christian said, reminding Aaron of Rocky's misbehaviour with Aana when she came for the interview in Aaron's office. He made a fist inside his pocket to control his anger.

"He didn't do anything because you stay with Aana all the time, but I'm afraid if in your absence he did something to harm her" Christian muttered, showing him the sword hanging on Aana's head.

"He can't do anything? I will not let him touch a strand of her hair" He snarled. At some point, he knew Christian had a point. Rocky was not someone who would stay quiet after his insult. Rocky will surely do something to harm Aana but the question is what.
