Next few days, Aana and Aaron didn't share a word except related to work. Aaron made sure that Aana had her food on time while she was making sure to keep her distance from him as much as possible and her every attempt was indirectly hurting Aaron, Alice, and Rex. She was not even ready to talk with Aaron except at the time of work. Even when Aaron ordered food for her at lunch or dinner, she didn't argue with him and eat it, knowing that if she did then he will say something which will make her heart flattered or make her weak to stand on her decision of staying away from Aaron and Rex.

That's a different story, every night after Aana slept, Alice took control of her body only to meet Rex and Aaron who were waiting for her at the back side of the building where no one can see them. They don't talk about Aana or situations whenever they meet as they just enjoy every second they spend together in each other's arms. Rex and Alice cuddle each other and talk or sometimes they just remain silent enjoying each other's presence.

The more Alice was falling in love with Rex and Aaron, the more Aana was pushing their mate away, ignoring every effort Aaron made to win her heart or to make her smile.

Aaron drops Aana at home like every day. She was about to open the car door when he held her hand. She didn't look at his side.

"Now you won't even look at my side" Aaron urged in a painful voice. Tears brimmed in her eyes hearing his voice which clearly depicted how much she was hurting him with her actions.

'I can't look at you because my heart twitches every time I see you in pain. You don't say a word to me but your eyes scream at me for hurting you again and again' She thought and detached her hand from his. She hopped out of the car to go towards her room but before she could take a step, Alice took control of her body.

"Alice, what are you doing?" Aana frowned when Alice opened the drawer of the car and sat back in the front seat beside him. Aaron looks at her dumb-headed, not able to recognise that Alice is in control because of the lenses that Aana uses at work.

"It's me, mate" She muttered, clearing all his doubts. Aaron gives her a half smile, not knowing what he should say to her especially when Aana is awake and listening to their conversation. Alice wiped his tears from the corner of his eyes. He looked at her abruptly then hugged her, hiding his face in the crook of her neck, not able to show himself stronger in front of their mate, anymore.

"Why?" He muttered in a choked voice.

"Why is your human doing this to us? Why?" unwanted tears roll from his eyes. Tears fell from Alice's eyes which were not hers but her human who was crying seeing Aaron like this.

"We were okay with her rude behaviour but we can't bear her ignorance… We can't... Why is she ignoring us? Why is she giving us this unbearable pain? Why?" Aaron sobbed, not able to control himself. Alice whimpers seeing him like this.

"Doesn't she have a heart?" He complained to Alice who was furious at her human.

"Now you get relief after giving him unbearable pain and breaking his heart into pieces. See what you have done Aana. You made him terrible by behaving like a bitch" Alice growled at Aana who was also crying seeing Aaron like this. Aana didn't say a word to Alice, what would she have said to her? That she hates herself for doing this to Aaron but at the same time, she didn't want him in her life.

"Aaron" Alice broke the hug and wiped his tears.

"My human gives you so much pain because she doesn't realise how it feels when your loved one ignores you," Alice muttered and wiped her tears.

"I will make her realise how much it hurts. I will make her realise the pain she gives you" Alice said, confusing Aaron and Aana. They knew that Alice was not someone who thinks before doing anything. She always follows her heart.

"Alice" Aana called her in fear, knowing that she can do anything when it comes to their mate.

"I Alpha Alice, take our rejection back," She said, taking her reaction back widening Aaron and Aana's eyes. Tears fall from Aana's eyes when she feels Aaron's pain. It almost makes her lose her breath. It was like a severe heartache and to see him make her feel terrible. she started hating herself for behaving like a bitch with him.

Before Alice and Aaron could say something to Alice, she gave control back to Aana who was still trying to accommodate what just had happened. Aana took a deep breath and looked at Aaron's side.

"You don't need to do that, Alice," Aaron said, unaware that Aana is in control.

"Neither you need to blame, pearl for anything. She is right at her place, Alice.. Instead, you should understand her feelings. It's not easy for her to move on after loving someone with everything" He took Aana's hand in his and wiped her tears. Aana herself is not able to understand why she is crying. Is she crying after feeling Aaron's pain or because of his words or because Alice took her rejection back? She bowed her eyes, crying bitterly, overwhelmed with the situation.

"Please don't cry... You know that we can't see tears in your and Aana's eyes. your tears made us feel like our heart is bleeding" He said, cupping her face. Aana closed her eyes when Aaron sucked her tears and kissed her forehead.

"Aaron" Before she could complete, he kept his index finger on her lips.

"I want to say something, Alice before you say anything which forces me to change my decision" His words were enough to accelerate her heartbeat.

"I badly want Aana to love me and Rex but at the same time, we can't force her. That's why I decided something" Aaron muttered, giving a mini heartache to Alice who anxiously started jumping inside Aana's mind where Aana was dumb-headed, not able to understand what she should say or do.

"I decided Alice" He tightened his grip on Aana's hand in fear of her reaction while Alice took control of Aana's body and started trying to get out of Aaron's grip in fear... Fear that whatever he is going to say will break her heart...

"Don't... I don't want to listen to anything." She muttered while crying.

"Alice"

"No Aaron... leave my hand. I don't want to listen to anything" She sobbed trying her best to get out of his grip but he didn't leave her hand. she looked at him with teary eyes, after getting tired of trying. He wiped her tears.

"Please no, Aaron... Please no" She begged. Her heart was trembling in fear. Fear that his word made her lose everything while Aaron kept maintaining an impassive look despite his heart twitches seeing her crying like this.
