Aana slept on her bed after taking her sleeping pills while Alice was waiting for this moment for so long. Still, Alice waited patiently to get confirmation that Aana slept, and then finally the moment came... she took control of Aana's body and went outside the flat to check on Rex who was still seated inside the car waiting for her. A big smile came on their faces seeing each other.

Alice ran towards him when Rex hopped down from the car only to hug him tightly. They both hide their faces in each other's necks, trying to calm themselves by healing each other's scent.

"I'm sorry," Rex muttered and a tear rolled from his eyes.

"No, I'm sorry... Your tears... I know it was all my plan but I can feel that you were not pretending when you expressed your love and asked me not to leave you" Alice muttered and broke the hug to wipe his tears lovingly.

"For me, it was too hard to see you going away from me. It was all planned but when you pushed me away and asked me to accept your rejection, I lost my mind. I just felt like if you pushed me away in real life then I would die" He muttered and hugged her tightly.

"I will never leave you, Rex. After all, that's why we planned all this... To make Aana realise her feelings for you and Aaron." she muttered.

"I know but I was scared... Scared as if Aana had no feelings for Aaron and me. Our whole plan would backfire on us." Rex said, sharing the reason for his fear. He broke the hug and opened the door of the car to sit in the front seat. Alice was about to go to the other side when Rex held her hand to pull her into his lap.

"Rex" She gasped and then chuckled when he bit her cheeks.

"Love you"

"Love you too" She mumbled and leaned her body to his chest, sitting comfortably on his lap.

"I knew from the start, Rex, that Aana had some feelings for you both and it got confirmed when she cried in your arms and shared her fear with you as Aana was not someone who shared her pain with strangers. Hell, she started sharing her past with me after a long time" she muttered, recalling the moment when Aana slept in Aaron's arms after crying for hours, sitting in his lap on the terrace. All doubts regarding Aana's feelings for their mate were cleared to Alice when Aana shared her fear of getting addicted to Aaron with her. A smile broke on her lips when she realised that only Aaron can heal her human and then she made a plan... Plan to make Aana realise her feelings. She deliberately asked Aaron and Rex to pretend to be angry with her and pick up a fight. It was all Alice planned that she and Rex would fight and then she would ask him to accept his rejection. She knew that Aana would realise her feelings at the thought of going away from their mate... This fight and distance will only bring them closer to their mate. Alice turned her head and looked at Rex who was smiling from ear to ear. She raised her one eyebrow, silently asking him the reason behind his smile.

"When you take control of her body after Aana sleeps. I thought you wanted to spend some time with me but no... Instead, you came up with an evil plan, according to which we have to get separate. Aaron And I were shocked after seeing your cunning side."

"I planned for our benefit only," she mumbled while pouting. He shook his head negatively to control his urge to kiss her deeply and passionately. he wanted to take her brims into his lips and suck them harder.

"You can kiss me if you want it that badly," Alice muttered. His eyes widen hearing her, wondering how she gets to know about his inner thoughts.

"How did you know what I'm thinking?"

"There are three reasons: First I can read you like an open book" Alice muttered and kissed his left cheek, bringing a smile to his face.

"Second, your eyes are like a mirror that shows what you want or think. Even when we met for the first time, your eyes told me that you want us and you're serious about this mate bond." she chuckled and bit on his right cheek, at his dimple.

"Aauch... what are you doing?" he hissed and then chuckled. He is falling for her cuteness.

"third reason" She moved one hand in his hair and pulled his face closer to her. they both can feel each other breath on their faces. Their faces are so close that if anyone says a word then their lips would brush with each other.

"Third reason?" He asked, intentionally brushing his lips with hers. A smile appeared on her lips and at the same time, she felt goosebumps all over her body and butterflies started flying in her stomach.

"Your eyes were on my lips." She chuckled and then held his shirt with her other hand.

"Believe me like you, I also want to kiss you passionately" She muttered and that's it. He was waiting for her permission only and when he got it, he didn't wait for a second and attached his lips to her. Kissing her deeply... Quenching his thirst. Thrust to taste her juicy lips while Alice was responding to him with the same passion and desire. Both closed their eyes, feeling each other's closeness and love...

After a long passionate kiss, he distanced himself from her when she went out of breath. He opened her eyes and looked at her face which turned red, her eyes closed and there was a smile on her face which brought a smile to his lips.

"I love you" She opened her eyes when he confessed his love. She lowered her eyes while blushing at the way he was looking at her.

"You look so cute while blushing" He teased to make her blush but instead he earned a slap.

"I thought my words will make you blush but you smacked me" He muttered then shook his head.

"Well, it's my fault that I forget my little munchkin is different from others," Alice laughed at his comment and then rested her head on his chest.

"Please tell me that our plan worked," He muttered anxiously. Only he knows how he said those words to Aana to pretend to be angry.

"It seems so. She was worried about Aaron and you. Also, she asked me why I rejected you in an upsetting tone. I think our fight affected her"

"When you shared your plan with us, it took us a long time to decide whether to go for it or not. We were in a great dilemma" Rex muttered, encircling his hands around her waist. Alice's heartbeat rose because of the closeness and her smile widened. she turned and looked at him, only to find his eyes on her.

"and all your doubts cleared when Christian entered the story" Alice chuckled remembering Aaron's jealous face and she was sure Rex's condition was not different from Aaron's.

"I was not jealous of him" He rolled his eyes, getting annoyed by hearing Christian's name from her mouth.

"I didn't say you were jealous"

"I was just saying to clear your doubts if you had any. I'm not jealous of him" he snarled.

"I can smell lies" Alice laughed seeing his expression. A smile appeared on Rex's face and his heart flattered seeing her laughing heartily. She stopped laughing when her eyes went on him, only to find him staring at her.

"What?" She asked.

"Always keep smiling like this," Rex muttered and took her hand in his.

"I and Aaron just wish that we could bring the same smile to Aana's face. We hate to see her upset. Our heart bleeds when we see tears in Aana's eyes."

"Rex" She tightened her lips, not able to understand what she should say to him. She tightened her grip on his hand.

"It will not be easy... her past is brutal. It will not be easy to heal her, Rex" Sje muttered.

"What is her past, Alice?" Alice looked at him in a dilemma to tell him or not. She wanted him to know about Alexander but at the same time, she was afraid of Aana's reaction.
