Rex made Alice look into her eyes, holding her chin then kissed her forehead.

"It's okay if you're not comfortable sharing her past with me" he muttered lovingly, bringing a smile to Alice's face. The way he understood her dilemma without sharing a word, flattered her heart. It was enough for her to know how much he loved and cared for her. Most importantly he understands and respects her which is the most important thing in any relationship.

"It's not like I'm not comfortable with you, Rex. It's just that the past is not mine. It should be Aana who shares everything with you." Alice muttered and bowed her eyes down. Tears filled her eyes remembering Aana's condition when she shared her past with me.

"But I prefer not to ask her anything. Yesterday her condition was due to remembering old things. Asking for anything related to her past is like all her wounds are scraping. My soul trembled in pain when I saw her like that." Tears fell from her eyes.

"If it hurts you and her that much then I don't want to know anything about her past... anyway present and future matter. We have to win Aana's heart in the present and live our future with both of you" Rex muttered and kissed her nose, making her chuckle.

"Thank you Rex and Aaron for understanding and being patient with us. Any other person in your place might have accepted our rejection," she mumbled, recalling all the moments when Aana behaved rudely with him and Aaron.

"Everyone hates darkness but nobody thinks to become light for that darkness, to complete it."

"yeah like you become light or our lonely life" She looks at him abruptly not understanding why he is calling her light when he was the one who brings light in their life.

"Don't look at me like that" he cracked up. She hit on his chest for making fun of her reaction.

"We were living our life without any purpose. just living it because we have to. It's like if death was on our next door we would happily hug him"

"Shut up... Don't utter rubbish" she growled.

"I was just giving an example" He rolled his eyes and looked at her munchkin who became angry just because he said something like this.

"Okay… I'm sorry.. what I was saying... yeah… We were just living our life then you entered in our life as a purpose... purpose to keep you both happy. You become the reason because of whom we want to wake up every morning just to see your and Aana's smiling face. we want to live every second of our life with you both" Her heartbeat rose with his words and tears of happiness brimmed in her eyes. she didn't share a word and attached her lips to him to shower all her love in that case. She has no words to tell him how much she loves him. She can only express it through her actions and she promises to herself to do it, all her life. To love him till her last breath.

They both were kissing each other passionately, losing themselves in each other's arms. she circled her arms around his neck while he held her hair, deepening the kiss.

After a long kiss, they parted away from each other to fill the air in their lungs. There was a big smile on their faces. She rested her head on his chest and he started moving his hand on her hair. Alice was thinking about whatever happened a while ago and that's when Aaron's thoughts crossed her mind. She turned her head towards Rex who was staring at her only.

"Where is Aaron? He didn't share a word with me after the fight" she mumbled.

"He is pissed at me for using Vince's name when we were fighting and hurt Aana" He muttered feeling guilty for saying those words to Aana.

"I forget that… How could you use his name?" she growled and hit on his stomach with her elbow.

"Ouch," Rex hissed, feeling slight pain.

"You hit me hard"

"You deserve this" she snapped at him and hopped down from the car. Rex did the same and looked at her angry bird who wanted to turn his face blue.

"You're my mate and I love you that's why I'm leaving you otherwise I would have ripped your head from your body" she growled. A smile came on his face seeing his fierce tigress.

"Seriously you're smiling?" she frowned at the way he was adoring her and here she was angry at him.

Alice was about to go inside when Rex held her hand to pull her closer to him and hugged him from behind. She bit her cheeks not to smile. The way he was holding her, claiming his right to her without any hesitation was enough to flatter her heart. she wanted to remain angry with him but all her anger vanished with his words.

"I'm sorry, cupcake" He whispered in her ear and turned her towards him.

"Believe me, I realised what blunder I did and how much I hurt Aana unintentionally. I'm already feeling guilty about it and I will apologise to her for my mistake. You also know that we planned that we will fight but it was all real. Aana was ignoring me and Aaron and our feelings. That's why I got furious and said those things." Rex explained the reason behind his anger. As a Lycan, he was trying his best to keep his hand with himself from touching his mate but instead of giving a chance to Rex and Aaron, Aana was ignoring all their efforts.

"I understand your anger and frustration, Rex but that doesn't give you the right to hurt my human even in anger" She snarled.

"I know and I'm sorry for that." Rex apologised. She could feel that he is guilty of uttering those words to Aana. Rex held her chin and made her look into his eyes.

"Aaron already blocked me, not wanting to talk to me. Now please don't be angry at me. I'm sorry" He mumbled. Alice smiled and held his hand in her.

"Only if you promise me that you will never bring Aana's past between arguments and fight" Alice muttered knowing how much his words affect her.

"I will never… Promise"

"good and if you do then I promise you that I will leave you and you will never be able to see my face in your entire life" she warned.

"Alice" he whimpered, not liking her words.

"I'm sorry for what I did but don't utter rubbish" he muttered, infuriated with the thought of losing her.

"Okay" She giggled at his expression and attached her lips to his. After a smooch, she parted away from him and looked into his eyes which are now back to his original colour. She smiled seeing Aaron on the surface.

Aaron was seated on the bench, tears falling from his eyes remembering the moment he spent with Alice.

"I miss you, Alice… I miss you"
