Aaron looked at Aana and wiped her tears. She held his hand and kissed his palm.

"How do you know our baby is not he but she?" Aana asked.

"I just felt that... Did you go for a gender test?"

"no but I also had a feeling that I'm going to give birth to a girl child," she replied, keeping her hand over Aaron's hand which is on her belly.

"You don't know Aaron how badly I wanted to live this moment with you." Smile vanished from her face upon hearing his words and reality hit him hard. He detached his hand from her and stood up from the bench. Aana was looking at him dumbstruck, not able to understand what happened suddenly.

"How did you want to live this moment with me? By hiding the truth?" He scoffed. Aana bowed her eyes feeling guilty. She has a realisation that she did wrong but the damage is done.

"I'm sorry" She mumbled.

"You're not... if you were then you would have told me the truth when I asked you about our baby's father" he screeched.

"I got scared, Aaron... My soul trembled in fear when you said that you would snatch my baby away from me" Aana yelled. She stood up from the bench keeping her hand on her belly. Aaron was observing her every move closely and the fact that Aana lost so much weight despite being pregnant, didn't go unnoticed by him. She turned pale and weak. He wanted to hold her hand but his anger didn't let him.

"We will have to make her fit again," Rex said, licking his paw. Aaron nodded his head and remembered the past moments when he used to force Aana to eat more and also keep a check on her diet.

"Aaron" He came out of his thoughts and looked at Aana.

"I tried to tell you the truth but destiny was not in my favour like always" Aana muttered, recalling all the moments when she tried to tell him the truth about the baby.

"Truth" he cracked up. She looked at him perplexingly. "The person who always lies to me is saying she was about to tell me the truth" He laughed. Tears rolled from her eyes, seeing him like this.

"I know, I always hurt you and this thing hurts me the most. I started hating my existence for being the reason behind your pain... I'm sorry Aaron.." she sobbed. He turned his face to the other side, not able to see tears in her eyes.

believe me, Aaron... After Stefan made me realise I'm doing wrong to you, I decided and tried to tell you and to my bad luck, the truth came in front of you before I confess" He tightened his fist hearing Stefan's name from her mouth.

"Stefan made you realise... wow... If he didn't say anything then you would have hidden this truth from me" He scrawled and held his hair frustratingly.

"You may not realise it Aana but by hiding the truth you exacerbate everything between us. I might have forgotten you for the pain you gave me before. In these past months, I realised how important you're to me and how much I loved you. I might have forgotten our wedding day when you cheated on me as a bad nightmare and started everything" He said looking into her eyes. Their eyes were red because of the pain they were holding inside. Every word of Aaron was like a hope for her.

"Aaron" A smile appeared on her face hearing him.

"I haven't completed yet" He screeched... He wiped his tears and then laughed like a maniac seeing his tears. "I'm crying for a person like you" He shook his head and then looked at her. She felt the pain behind each of his words. She was about to hold his arm but he moved back.

"Dare you to touch me" He warned, pointing his finger at her. She looked at his finger and then at him devastatingly.

"Now I don't have a right to even touch you?" She asked in a cracked voice.

"Yes... You don't have any right over me." He said gritting his teeth... "What was I saying... Yeah… I would have given it a chance to us but by hiding the truth about our baby... You break all the threads which can pull us together. My love died for you when you dodge me again"

"Please don't say like this.. please" She begged.

"You have to face what you did, Aana. by hiding the truth you not only lost the right over me but over our baby also... sorry I mean on my baby" He smirked. Aana holds her baby bump tightly, hearing him. She knew his smirking could be anything but not good news.

"I won't let you snatch my baby away from me," She said, trying her best to hide her fear behind a poker face.

"No one can change my decision Aana... Not even you." He said and moved closer to her, just a few inches apart from her face. He was looking into her eyes with a challenging smirk.

"No one knows it better than you, Aana… You tried your best to run away from me but ended up in my arms. I get what I want and I decided to own full custody of MY CHILD" he said. It would be a lie that his words didn't tremble her soul.

"Ohh really" They both heard a voice and turned to see the owner, only to find Stefan glaring at Aaron angrily. Stefan moved towards them and held Aana's hand. Aaron looks at their hand and then at Stefan.

"You can't snatch a baby from a mother neither I will let you do that to her," Stefan said in a stern tone. Aaron again looks at their hands which are connected. Aana followed his gaze and immediately detached her hand from his, realising that he again misunderstood her bonding with Stefan.

"Aaron there is a misunderstanding. Stefan is not my boyfriend"

"Then who is he? Your dark secret" He said, earning a tight slap on his face from her.

"That's the main problem between us... You never listened to me but questioned my character" She scrawled.

"Could you blame me for that? Weren't you the one who was with someone else on our wedding day?" He yelled at her face. Everyone around them started looking at Aaron and Aana and this didn't go unnoticed by Stefan. He pulled Aana away from Aaron and pointed his finger at him.

"Stop hurting her otherwise you will face my wrath" He warned and took Aana away from there, not wanting other people to think wrong about her, and above that he didn't want Aana to feel embarrassed because of someone else. Aana turned her head and looked at Aaron who was looking at her side. Stefan made her sit in the car and then went to his side to drive the car back to NGO. Aana again looked towards Aaron who turned his face to the other side this time.

"I would have given a chance to us but by hiding the truth about our baby... You break all the threads which can pull us together. My love died for you when you dodge me again" His words roamed in her mind and a tear rolled from her eyes.

"Why are you crying for a person like him? He doesn't deserve your tears, Aana" Stefan said, wiping her little sister's tears. She shook her head.

"No... I was the one who didn't deserve him. Moon goddess blessed me with him but I lost that gem" Aana said while crying.

"What do you mean?" Aana looked at him and then sighed before starting to tell him about Aaron.
